Bill O'Reilly here. You are listening to the O'Reilly update.
Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill. It is Wednesday, April 1st, 2026.
Series is happening today in America.
Supreme Court victory, Artemis launch, get your own oil, and proclaiming unrighteousness.
It's all coming up, the bill is going to be here with your message of the day.
But first, as the Supreme Court is hearing oral arguments today on birthright citizenship,
the Supreme Court made a ruling about a Colorado law that banned anything.
therapist from attempting to change an individual's gender identity. So if a child came to a counselor
in Colorado and said they wanted to be homosexual or they wanted to change their gender identity,
the counselor can say, that's great. But if the young child said that they don't want to have
same-sex attraction or they want to feel more comfortable in their body, then the counselor
could not help them with that. It was an eight-to-one decision against that law. The Supreme Court
justices says this law violated people's freedom of speech. Of course, it was Justice Jackson,
who was the one dissenting vote. Even Justice Kagan, more progressive justice, but smart.
Kagan wrote, again, because the state has suppressed one side of a debate while aiding the other,
the constitutional issue is straightforward. Tonight could be the night, the first opportunity
to launch Artemis II, the first time astronauts have whipped around the moon in over 50 years.
a four-person crew, 10-day journey.
The goal is to test everything out,
and then ultimately land people on the moon again,
and then build a base on the moon,
where people can live.
Maybe one day we can launch from the moon to get to Mars.
That's Elon's goal.
And we could also have asteroid mining operations
with maybe trillions of dollars
of rare earth minerals on them.
That's the vision.
But first things first.
First launch time is tonight between 624 and 824.
And the plan is to have these four astronauts
go the deepest into space that any astronauts have ever gone.
President Trump on Monday said the U.S. is engaged in serious talks with a new and more reasonable
regime in Iran.
Marco Rubio said you have people there that are saying some of the right things privately.
But at the end of the day, we have to see if these people end up being the ones in charge,
seeing if they're the ones that have the power to deliver.
The president has been annoyed at some of our allies, France, England, Spain.
Among other things, the president said, to all those countries that can't get the
jet fuel because of the straight-ahom use, like the United Kingdom, which refused to get involved
in the decapitation of Iran. I have a suggestive for you. Number one, buy from the U.S., we have plenty.
And number two, build up some delayed courage, go to the straight and just take it. You'll have to
start learning to fight for yourself. The USA won't be there to help you anymore, just like you
weren't there for us. Guard for the Chicago Bulls, Jaden Ivy, was fired from the team
because he criticized Pride Night. He said it celebrates unrighteousness. We'll see how many
professional players. Come to Jaden's defense. More of this on my podcast, YouTube.com
slash at Politics by Faith. Bill O'Reilly has your message of the day. Next.
Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day. On this Wednesday, immediate gratification.
America is embracing the concept enthusiastically. We want what we want now. That is a driver
behind substance abuse. Alter your consciousness quickly.
Obesity as well. I want that soda and snack right away.
Foolish spending, reckless driving, lack of decorum, all IG immediate gratification stalwarts.
And then there's conflict. We want it resolved immediately.
You see that with the press and Iran. How long will this go on? How many casualties? What's the outcome?
Of course, all of those questions are unanswerable at this point that tease off many American voters.
We are, generally speaking, a very soft nation, not as bad as Europe, but we Americans are addicted
to immediate gratification.
The smartphone provides instant stimulation and outcomes.
Real life problems are set aside millions of hours wasted.
And in cyberspace, wasting time has become the national pastime.
This is all front and center with the Iran situation, which will require discipline and perseverance to secure victory.
Is our nation up to it?
I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me. Bill at Bill

Mary Jane, I passed a no-kings protest on Saturday. People held a vulgar signs, President Trump's name on him, disgraceful.
My opinion was an opportunity to let the president know they hate him. Yeah, I can't argue with that.
Concierge member, Wayne gets direct access to me if Wayne gets into any trouble.
This wasn't even about Trump.
It's simply anti-capitalist, just communists using that as an excuse to do people and supporting that.
The communist element is 20%.
So they don't like Trump, those protesters.
Tony Boussiari, Cyprus, Texas, watching the clips of No King,
things deeply disturbing, especially seeing communist flags on American soil.
There is a burgeoning movement of socialism and communism in this country, no doubt about it.
Jeff Ziskin, Luther'sville, Maryland, I'm concerned that although the U.S. has accomplished
major destruction of Iran's military power, where all the missiles and drones they are launching coming from?
from Iran. It's huge. Can't get every one of them. Come on. Let's be realistic here. Live in the
real world. Peter Lyon, Seagirt, New Jersey. Who decides to put the Senate in recess,
the president could make recess appointments? No, he couldn't. The president had nothing to do
with the legislative branch. He's the executive branch, three branches of government. Peter.
The Speaker of the House decides on the House and the Senate Majority Leader decides in the Senate.
Trump doesn't have any swear over Congress.
That's the way our Constitution is.
In a moment, something you might not know.
Now the O'Reilly Update brings you something you might, not know.
