But first, the president last night said that based on conversations with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, wherein they require, requested that I hold off the destructive force being sent tonight to Iran and subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the complete immediate and safe opening of the Strait of Hormuz. I have agreed to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks. This will be a double-sided ceasefire. The reason for doing so is that we have already met and exceeded all military objectives and are very far along with the definitive agreement concerning long-term peace with Iran and peace in the Middle East.

We received a ten-point proposal from Iran and believe it is a workable basis on which to negotiate. negotiate. Almost all the various points of past contention have been agreed to between the United States and Iran, but a two-week period will allow the agreement to be finalized and consummated. On behalf of the United States of America as president and also representing the countries of the Middle East, it is an honor to have this long-term problem close to resolution. Intel reports are saying that the new Ayatollah is, quote, incapacitated and receiving medical treatment. He is in severe condition and is, quote, unable to be involved in any decision-making by the regime. He is currently being treated in the largest city in Iran, 85 miles south of

Tehran. An illegal alien is charged with murder after beating to death a gas station clerk in Fort Myers, Florida. He is a Haitian illegal alien who was caught and released on our border in 2022 under the Biden administration. An immigration judge ordered him deported later that year, but Homeland Security then gave him a temporary protected status, which still expired in 2024. He of course stayed here. The Haitian hit a car with a hand. hammer. The clerk came outside to see what was going on when he ran up to her and hit her in the head with the hammer. And then when she was on the ground, smashed her in the head six more times. ISIS arrested 20,000 illegal migrants in Washington, D.C. since January of 2025. It would be much

higher if different federal judges didn't get in the way. But still, we're at 3 million illegal aliens nationwide. About 800,000 have been deported and 2.2 million self-deported. Acting attorney General Todd Blanche said the DOJ has 8,000 fraud matters underway, working with the newly created anti-fraud task force led by J.D. Vance. He said in just one day, he got guilty pleas for a $160 million health care enrollment fraud scheme, sentencing for a $100 million COVID fraud, and a guilty plea for a $160 million health care fraud scheme as well, all in one day. The accusation is that the Trump administration is targeting civilians and that violates international law. Only it doesn't. After the Hamas attack on October 7, 2003, Israel, attacked Gaza, hunting down terrorists. Thousands of civilians were killed because Hamas set up command and control near civilian situations, like hospitals and schools. So what was Israel supposed to do? Stop hunting down the Hamas killers? The Gaza terrorists are responsible themselves for the

the civilian deaths. Somebody tell Columbia University. Same thing is happening in Iran, where the murderous revolutionary guard is using civilians as shields. You saw that this week where they called for younger people in particular to go out and stand around likely bomb sites, power grid, civilian centers. centers. The United States is not party to any war crime scenario because it understands the war on terror which Iran has embraced. Rational people don't want dead civilians. But if just one nuke is used,

In a moment, something you might not know. Now the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know. 131 years ago today, the Supreme Court issued a landmark decision. The justices ruled that the nation's income tax was not constitutional. Here is the story behind the case Pollock versus the Farmers' Loan and Trust Company. To help finance a civil war, Congress imposed an income tax for the first time. The Fed took 3% from anyone earning more than $800 a year.

In 1893, the government expanded the law and levy tariffs on real estate, inheritance, stocks, bonds, other sources of personal revenue. To comply, a bank named Farmers Loan and Trust announced to its stockholders it would pay the tax directly to the Treasury Department. Well, a Massachusetts man named Charles Pollock owned 10 shares of fireman's loan. He sued the bank, demanding they send a full value to him, not. the feds. The case made its way to the Supreme Court. On April 8, 1895, the Justice was ruled in Pollock's favor. They confirmed that taxis levied on income from property and stocks was unconstitutional. In the years after Pollack, Congress did not implement another

federal income tax, partly because many politicians feared that New York's Leavies also would be struck down by the Supremes. Well, everything changed in 1913 when the 16th Amendment to the Constitution was ratified. That resolution is just 16 words. Congress shall have the power to lay and collect taxes on income from whatever source derived. The result? In 1860, the average American paid 3 percent of their income. income to the feds, today that figure has ballooned to 33%. And if you live in places like New York,
