Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill.
Here's what's happening this week in America.
Big Presser.
lie, Chandler arrests, and bear attack. That's all coming up. Then Bill's going to be here with
your message today, but first. 26 days, no press conference from Kamala. Trump had a one hour,
25 minute press conference where he talked about, well, everything, but started off talking about
the price of groceries. He said, you don't have to imagine what a Kamala Harris presidency would be
because you are living through that nightmare right now. This is the first event that Kamala ever
had yesterday next to Joe Biden. She said, I could speak all afternoon about the person I'm
standing on this stage with our extraordinary president, Joe Biden.
She made her first policy proposal.
Well, the first she hasn't stolen.
No tax on tips was her first one, which she stole from Trump.
But her second policy proposal is a price cap on food, which could not be a worse idea.
Milton Freeman said, if you have inflation, you should avoid price caps like the plague.
Even CNN is reporting this, that Tim Walls had a DUI arrest in 1995.
Okay, that was a long time ago.
But when he ran for Congress in 2006, his campaign made false statements about the rest.
Walls admitted in court that he had been drinking when he was pulled over for driving 96
in a 55 mile per hour zone in Nebraska, blood alcohol level of 1.28.
The legal limit was 0.1 at the time.
But his 2006 campaign told the press he was not drinking that night.
His campaign said he just drove home right afterwards.
And also it was a big misunderstanding.
He wasn't drinking, didn't fail a field sobriety test.
And the misunderstanding was related to a hearing loss he had from his time.
in the National Guard.
Turns out none of that was true.
Matthew Perry, Chandler, from Friends, passed away last October at the age of 54.
Five people were just charged in connection with his death.
Prosecutors in L.A.
say they uncovered an underground network of drug sellers and suppliers that they allege
are responsible for distributing ketamine.
The defendants include two doctors and Perry's live-in personal assistance and someone
else who's known as the ketamine queen.
Over a two-month period in the fall.
of 2023. They gave him 20 vials of ketamine for $55,000 cash. A 24-year-old mom was in the wrong
place at the wrong time, jogging on a paved trail in Ontario with her German Shepherd. Thank
goodness. She turned the corner and came face to face with three bears. The dog defended
against two of the bears, but the dad bear attacked her. She said it took her head in his mouth.
She said, you feel like a rag doll. It's nothing you can do. The dog ultimately scared all
the bears away, and she survived. I'm Mike Slater, Bill O'Reilly with your message of the day. Next.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
As you know, if you follow my news analysis, perhaps the weakest part of the American voting profile,
is that many folks simply believe what they want to believe, and facts have little to do with
decision-making. It is beyond any doubt that the anti-Trump vote is driven by personal emotion.
Millions of Americans just don't like him that overwhelms Trump's actual policies while he was in
office. So keeping that in mind, what do Kamala Harris' supporters want to believe?
Let's consider the question without partisan propaganda. It is difficult to zero in on what the
vice president's vision for America really is. She is certainly not a problem solver. Her four years
in the Senate certifies that. Yes, she's liberal, but what does that mean? What do her supporters
believe she will do for them in the nation? It cannot be bringing people together. Ms. Harris is a
champion of equity, as is Joe Biden, the equity position of favoring certain groups for more
opportunity is absolutely not a uniting proposition. Do Harris support us believe that it is?
How about inflation? Vice President Harris supports colossal government spending, which will never
bring inflation down. Do Kamala fans know that? I could list a dozen more policies and I can list
them on a Republican side too. But I still don't know why any voter would believe that Kamala Harris
can improve America. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me.
Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com. Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com. Name in town, if you wish to opine.
All right, let's go to the mail. We got Bruce. He says, I'm losing count of the number of
women I've heard say I'm voting for Kamala because she is a woman. Really? Well, same thing
happened to Hillary Clinton. Some people vote gender.
Some people vote skin color.
That's it.
Nothing you can do about it.
Less.
When does a far left Democrat become a socialist?
It's all due with private property.
So if you believe, if you're a progressive liberal and you believe you have a right to my private property in any way, you can take it.
You're socialist.
That's the line.
George Albert.
Williamsville, New York.
I've seen a lot of online comments
that the Harris Wall's crowd-sizers
are computer-generated.
What do you and your crack staff think?
We don't think anything.
We don't care.
I don't care about crowd-sized.
It's stupid.
I don't care how big Trump's crowd is
or Kamala's crowd.
It means nothing.
It means nothing.
Trump overwhelmed Biden in 2020 on crowd-size.
It wasn't even close.
and Biden won.
Okay, we don't do trivial pursuits here, George.
Only important stuff.
Glenglazier, Windsor Locks, Connecticut, just finished watching your interview of Victor
Davis Hanson.
Both of you express your thoughts brilliantly, given that you know Donald Trump personally,
is there any way you can gently twist his arm and get him to consult with either Hanson
or you?
I would never do that.
Why would I do that?
I'm not going to intrude on anybody like that.
if Donald Trump or Barack Obama or George W. Bush want to know something they can get me and I'll tell them the truth.
That's my job as an American. In a moment, something you might not know.

Vice presidential candidate Tim Walz under attack from the Trump campaign over his military
Last week, Senator J.D. Vance accused the Minnesota governor of stolen valor, a term given
to impostors who deceive about military service. Here are the facts. Governor Walsh joined the Army
National Guard at the age of 17, served 24 years in various units, including National
Disaster Response and Artillery. It was deployed to Italy in 2003 to support the war on terror.
In August 2005, the Pentagon mobilized his artillery unit for deployment in Iraq.
But Walsh retired before that deployment, returning to the USA to run for Congress.
Since then, the governor has made some dubious claims about his military service.
When commenting on gun control in 2018, Wals said the following, quote,
we can make sure those weapons of war that I carried in war are only carried in war, unquote.
Well, the Harris campaign has now released the following statement.
In making the case for why weapons of war should never be on our streets or in our classrooms,
the governor misspoke. That is a quote.
Well, over the weekend, another video service showing Walls implying he suffers from TTSD.
I can tell you this, having been one of those that came back, we were in support of OEF,
but being setting in there with OEF, OIF veterans, when we came back, they showed us the horse whisper
and told us to be nice when we went home.
And that was the extent of it.
That was in 2004.
Well, if you're confused, you're not alone.
Walls came back from Italy.
So those are the facts.
Stolen valor, very serious.
And I think we should take our time in assessing whether the governor did anything very wrong.
It is looking like he did not report his military service accurately.
Back after this.
