And Thursday night, of course, Kamala Harris. Oh, it's going to be a week of vibes, but how long were the good times roll? Well, the first debate is September 10th. Something that will not be talked about at the debate, a deputy in Paulding County, Georgia, just northwest of Atlanta, was killed while reporting to a domestic violence call. The murderer was inside waiting for the officer to arrive. It was an ambush. He then fired at other officers who arrived on the scene.

Ultimately, he killed himself. From 2021 to 2023, 194 law enforcement officers were killed in the line of duty, more than any other consecutive three-year period in the last 20 years. Hurricane Debbie brought to shore plenty of destruction, but also more than 100 pounds of cocaine. 25 packages washed ashore in the Florida Keys with a street value of over a million dollars. A week later, another half a million dollars.

washed up in another town. Some drug smugglers will intentionally drop bales of drugs wrapped in plastic in the ocean at a predetermined location and other smugglers will pick it up later. But if a hurricane interrupts the plan, then tourists on the beach will find it instead. In 2014, California banned plastic grocery bags. So instead of a thin plastic bag,

you could pay 10 cents for a thicker plastic bag. Turns out, now 10 years later, the ban of plastic bags resulted in the use of more plastic. The number of plastic bags thrown away per 1,000 people in California rose from four tons to almost six tons. Turns out people didn't reuse the thicker plastic bags as much as politicians anticipated. Classic government story. Keep that in mind when you hear about Kamala and California. There's nothing more permanent than a temporary government program and judge policies by their results, not their intentions.

On this Monday, the Democratic National Convention opens in Chicago, and there will be trouble as a bunch of anarchists have descended on that town, hoping to cause trouble, and they will. now a federal judge has kept those demonstrators that hide behind the pro-Palestinian movement but they really don't give a fig in general about the Palestinian people they're in business

to disrupt the American political system they are anarchists they hate the country and they want to cause trouble and they will now an important question is why didn't these anarchists, all of whom are far, far left, these aren't the far right Nazis, these are the communist socialists, why didn't they go after the Republicans in July, in Milwaukee? Why are they zeroing in on some friendly people in the Democratic convention? And the answer is they get far more exposure by going out. after liberal people than they would conservative people. They're far more stories generated by that.

So these people have consolidated. There'll be thousands of them to try to embarrass Kamala Harris and the Democratic Convention. Will they succeed? facts. According to the Florida program for shark research, there was a general consensus at the beginning of the 20th century that sharks never attacked human beings. In the early 1900s, there were even rewards offered to people who could prove they were bitten by a shark and no prizes were given out. I didn't know that. Now, all it changed during World War II when American sailors and airmen who ditched into the Pacific Ocean were attacked by sharks.

I write about one of the Indianapolis in a horrific shark attack in killing the rising sun. And then you had the movie Jaws in the 1970s scared the bejesus out of everybody. And today, sharks are big stars on TV, and they're making a comeback in the oceans. Clean water, warm currents, large food supply, causing a shark population

to explode all over the world. But the mingling of humans and sharks along the shoreline is not good. You want to stay away from them. So far this year, there have been 18 non-provoked attacks against people in America, one of them deadly. Most of the incidents taken place in Florida, followed by Hawaii and California. The most dangerous sharks are the Great White, the bull, tiger, hammerhead. I wouldn't miss around a maco either. Despite the negative press, scientists placed the odds of being bitten

by a shark at 1 and 12 million, you are 20 times more likely to die from being attacked by a dog. If you something else you might not know. Human beings may have a new nemesis in the ocean, the orca. Some of the once friendly killer whale has been ramming boats in Morocco, Gibraltar, Spain, and Canada. Scientists believe the behavior is not malicious. The curious orkers are just playing games with the humans.
