Thanks, Bill.
You're listening to the weekend edition of the O'Reilly Update.
Here's what's happening this week in America.
It's finally over.
Trump suspect arrested.
Seelift command,
downsized and college going up.
That's all coming up.
Then Bill's going to be here
with your message today.
But first, Kamala made her big speech.
It was thrilling.
It was exhilarating.
Rachel Maddow from MSNBC said you will remember where you were
when you heard this speech.
You'll remember it for the rest of your life.
There were some weird lines.
Donald Trump tried to throw away your votes.
When he failed, he sent an armed mob to the U.S. Capitol.
No one was armed.
His explicit intent to do.
jail journalists, political opponents in anyone he sees as the enemy, jail journalists.
And Trump did not go after Hillary after he won in 2016.
His explicit intent to deploy our active duty military against our own citizens.
No idea what she's talking about there.
And he plans to create a national anti-abortion coordinator and force states to report on women's miscarriages and abortions.
There's just like a lot of that.
That's so hard to debunk because it's all made up.
Police arrested a man who threatened to kill Donald Trump at his rally in Phoenix.
took a 66-year-old man in custody without incident.
Sheriff said he made threatening post on social media over a period of two days.
This man has outstanding warrants from Wisconsin for a DUI, also in Arizona,
also a hit and run felony in Arizona, and his failure to register as a sex offender.
When asked about it, the former president said he was aware,
it might be dangerous for him to be there, but, quote, I have a job to do.
He was in Phoenix to highlight the border.
Please look up a four-minute address by Rachel Morin's mother, M-O-R-I-N.
Rachel was raped and murdered by an illegal alien from El Salvador.
Military Seelift Command has drafted a plan to remove the crews from 17 Navy support ships
due to a lack of qualified mariners to operate the vessels across the Navy.
The military Seelift Command operates a fleet of logistics ships that refuel and resupply the Navy
ships around the world, accrued by 5,500 civilians who were employed by the Navy.
One former mariner said they're just burning through people.
The Princeton Review released their best.
389 colleges, eight colleges, NYU, Tufts, Brown, Yale, Washington University in St. Louis,
they have a sticker price of over $90,000.
Prices have been going up about 4% a year, so they will be over $100,000 a year by 2026.
The left says that this is due to deep cuts in state funding.
No, no, no.
More government loans have increased the price of tuition and passed the price down to
students.
I'm Mike Slater from the podcast, Politics by Faith.
Bill O'Reilly with your message today. Next.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On this Thursday, here's something to consider.
I believe most Republican voters understand the downside of President Trump.
But the majority of Democrats have no blank an idea what Kamala Harris stands for.
Of course, there's no data supporting that, so I could be wrong, but the Rockers Convention
in Chicago has convinced me that Democrats simply do not care that Ms. Harris is a devoted
leftist who would promote California values if she becomes president.
So what are California values?
Equity, the most important, that is providing more opportunity to selected groups to attempt
to write historical wrongs.
Then there is onerous taxation.
To provide an endless list of free stuff to the favored groups,
you have to take money from workers and businesses.
California leaves the league in doing that,
which is why so many are leaving that state.
Restorative justice is next.
That is light or no punishment for miscreants.
A reimagining of the social contract
that is supposed to protect folks from criminal.
criminal behavior. Not in California. There, it is an unjust society that stimulates crime,
not the individual who must be persuaded, not forced to obey the law. And finally, the power of
the state over parental authority, children, must be raised by a liberal village. Kamala Harris
believes in all of those things. No question about it. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve
the message by writing it, you can reach me. Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com. Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com,

sunday david a dem party strategist that o'reilly listens to said trump may very well win because
of the electoral college axelot is saying that to mobilize democratic voters now trump could win
but that's not why axelot is saying it uh luann concierge member thank you luan
Sadly, Bill, the Democrats are going to win.
The American people cannot get past Trump's personality.
Not so fast.
All right, next week is a peak for Kamala Harris.
She'll peek in the polls next week.
Then after Labor Day, coming up on the debate, that's the key part of the campaign.
Then the polls five days after the debate will start to matter.
Trump is in it.
He's got a course correct.
Don't know if he will.
Debbie, I think the interview with Stephen A. Smith was one of the best yet.
Both made great points, and Stephen was even able to back up what he said with facts.
I may not agree with him, but he had a lot of good things to say.
I agree.
We like Stephen A, and we respect his ability to stand up for what he believes it.
I respect that a lot.
There are not too many of them, by the way.
Most of them are weasels, these media.
people. That's not charitable. In a moment, something you might not know.

Now the O'Reilly Update brings you something you might not know.
A recent survey from UGov, Poland, finds 54% of the American people suffer from
Galeophobia, fear of sharks.
might be Gallio, but it's a phobia.
You're afraid of sharks, 54%.
Now, shark attacks against humans, very rare.
But obviously, they happen, and here are some facts.
According to the Florida program for shark research,
there was a general consensus at the beginning of the 20th century
that sharks never attacked human beings.
In the early 1900s, there were,
were even rewards offered to people who could prove they were bitten by a shark and no prizes
were given out. I didn't know that. Now, all it changed during World War II when American sailors
and airmen who ditched into the Pacific Ocean were attacked by sharks, I write about one of
the Indianapolis in that horrific shark attack in killing the rising sun. And then you had the
movie Jaws in the 1970s and scared the bejesus out of everybody. And today,
sharks are big stars on TV and they're making a comeback in the oceans. Clean water, warm currents,
large food supply, causing a shark population to explode all over the world. But the mingling of
humans and sharks along the shoreline is not good. You want to stay away from them. So far this
year, there have been 18 non-provoked attacks against people in America. One of them
deadly. Most of the incidents taken place in Florida, followed by Hawaii and California.
The most dangerous sharks are the Great White, the bull, tiger, hammerhead. I wouldn't
miss around a Mako either. Despite the negative press, scientists placed the odds of being
bitten by a shark at 1 and 12 million, you are 20 times more likely to die from being attacked
by a dog. If something else you might not know. Human beings,
may have a new nemesis in the ocean, the orca. Some of the once friendly killer well has
been ramming boats in Morocco, Gibraltar, Spain, and Canada. Scientists believe the behavior
is not malicious. The curious orcas are just playing games with the humans. Back after this.
