Bill O'Reilly here. You are listening to the O'Reilly update. Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill. It is Friday, August 8th, 2025. Here's this happening today in America.
Redo the census. Redistricting war continues. Trump targets CEO and Superman joins ICE. It's all coming up.
And Bill's going to be here with your message of the day. But first, big political news. The president said a truth yesterday.
I've instructed the Department of Commerce to immediately begin work on a new and highly accurate
census. People who are in our country illegally will not be counted in the census. Thank you for
your attention to this matter. The census, which is usually done every 10 years that ends with a
zero, this counting of people determines how many congressional seats every state has, which
determines how many electoral college votes every state has. The last census was done in 2020,
But in 2022, the census and Joe Biden's administration admitted, they admitted that they undercounted in five states, Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas, all Republican states.
And they overcounted in Delaware, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, and Rhode Island, all blue states.
Gosh, golly, wouldn't you know it?
It's believed that if we just had an accurate count, that would be 10 congressional seats that the Democrats would lose.
and Republicans would gain.
And then, of course, 10 electoral college votes.
Though on top of that, the census has been counting illegal aliens.
Stephen Miller and Elon Musk have said that if we don't count illegal aliens,
the Democrats could lose as many as 20 seats and 20 votes in the electoral college,
which would make it nearly impossible for a Democrat to win the White House in 2028,
if the census is redone quickly, which the president is calling for.
The redistricting saga continues this time with the vice president and a bunch of people from the White House,
meeting with lawmakers in Indiana calling on them to redistrict their state.
Indiana has nine congressional districts, two are Democrats.
One of them, though, is a Democrat seat only plus one, so a very close district.
The other is plus 22, Indianapolis, but all the Republican seats are plus eight,
plus 13, plus 15 or higher.
So there's a lot of room to divvy up to take out that plus 21 district if they want to do
that.
The president of the United States has demanded the CEO of Intel resign, Lip-Bu-Tan.
The president said the CEO of Intel is highly conflicted and must resign immediately.
There is no other solution to this problem.
This is after the senator from Arkansas, Tom Cotton wrote a letter to the board of Intel,
highlighting the CEO's ties to the Communist Party and companies that he owns in China.
Former Superman actor and Fox News host, Dean Kane, said he will be joining ICE.
ICE announced that they eliminated age limits for new hires.
In the past, you had to be at least 21 and no older than 37, but now you can be as young as 18,
with a $50,000 signing bonus.
DHS says they need to hire 10,000 people,
and in just the past week or so,
they've had 80,000 applicants.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On this Friday, let's talk about payback.
So all of us on this planet get host.
It is inevitable if you are going to join the human race.
Someone will betray you.
Someone will be unfair to you.
Someone will hurt you.
So what do you do after the fact?
Well, revenge is frowned upon in Christianity and Judaism, but retribution, that is the just taking of some
kind of justice is allowed.
So we are seeing payback at the highest level in the United States.
Donald Trump believes he was unbelievably hosed by the phony Russian collusion story, and
now the people who trafficked in that, including Hillary Clinton, are under investigation.
And the powers of the federal government, which are vast, will be used to try to get evidence
against the Russian collusion conspirators.
Wow.
And then there's Epstein, so the Democratic Party did everything it could to tie President
Trump in with the heinous criminal.
Well, now guess who's being investigated by the Oversight Committee in the House?
That would be the Clintons and a variety of other left-wingers.
Payback, retribution, you make the call.
I'm Bill O'Reilly.
I approve the message by writing it.

No.
Vincent Vital, Lexington, Kentucky.
A. Bill, I signed my mother up as a concierge member for a 78th birthday.
She didn't even know you had a broadcast.
Well, that's right.
We have trouble reaching senior citizens over the age of 75 because they're not in the internet world, the social media world.
They don't know what's available.
But you are a good son, Vincent, and I'm sure your mom will like watching the No Spin News.
Dave Yoshida, Rancho Kukumanga, California is an income equality inherent with capitalism.
But the benefit is the poor lower classes have the opportunity to advance.
Yeah. That's it. Work your way up. But a lot of Americans in that game, give me.
Mike Kusack, Milton, Florida. As a concierge member, I would like to thank you and your team, O'Reilly, for all the help I have received.
My wife got me concierge membership for my birthday, renewing it again this month, one of the best gifts one can give.
You know, Mike, I really appreciate it. There's a parable in a Bible where Jesus cures a Bible.
bunch of people. And only one comes back and says, thank you. And we have, I've gotten many,
many more letters of people thanking me. But that is what we are in business to do with concierge
membership. So I'm glad that we helped you out. In a moment, something you might not know.
Now the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know. Four hundred ninety-two years ago
this week, Pope Clement the 12th, excommunicated the King of England, enraged, the monarch created
his own religion, his own church, plunging the entire European continent into decades of religious
warfare. Here is the evil story of Henry the 8th. 1530, the 38-year-old king petitioned the Vatican
and to annul the marriage with his first wife, Catherine, who was unable to bear him a son.
The Pope refused to do it. Defiant, the king renounced Catholicism, creating a Protestant sect,
the Church of England. Henry himself appointed the head of the religion. Second in command,
the Archbishop of Canterbury. The monarch then married his girlfriend and Bolin. Catherine was
exile to the cliffs of Dover, where she died from mysterious causes a few years later.
Henry the A's impulsive decision caused generations of misery.
Towns turned on each other.
Catholics and Protestants were slaughtered by the thousands in religious warfare.
To maintain order, Henry launched a violent campaign against all Catholics living in the
British Isles.
Within a decade, more than 70,000.
English subjects were put to death.
Many charged with witchcraft.
That included his second wife, Anne Boleyn.
After two years of marriage, Henry grew bored with her.
He accused his queen of treason,
dispatched her to the dreaded Tower of London,
where she was beheaded by her own guards.
And here's something else you might not know.
Henry's religious order remains a major Protestant,
and sect to this day. There are more than 85 million members of the Anglican Church around the
world, including 45 million in Africa. In the USA, the founding fathers formed the Episcopal
Church during the American Revolution. There are 7,000 parishes in the USA right now, 1.5 million
followers. We chronicle the horrible deeds of Henry VIII and the destruction he brought to
England and Europe in my upcoming book, Confronting Evil. It is out, September 9th. Back after
this. Thank you for listening to the O'Reilly Update. I am Bill O'Reilly, no spin, just facts,
and always looking out for you.
Thank you.
