President Trump calls the Inspector General's FBI report evidence of an attempted overthrow. James Comey, former FBI chief, says the document proves nothing. Poll show Hillary Clinton would be the Democratic frontrunner if she gets in. A new report claims the U.S. government lied for years about the war in Afghanistan. Not a single Republican in the House will support

impeachment. It is probable. The Senate will quickly exonerate President Trump. Also, the President says the Inspector General's FBI report proves there was a coordinated effort to, quote, overthrow the government. Mr. Trump telling a report is the FBI and Department of Justice fabricated evidence in order to spy on his campaign, claiming President Obama's officials got called hot red-handed. The Inspector General himself, Michael Horowitz, concludes there was no political bias involved. The Attorney General disagrees. Former FBI boss James Comey defending his tenure at the Bureau in an op-ed published by the Washington Post. Asserting the FBI report simply shows there are lots of, quote, good people trying to protect America. More in this coming up in

my message of the day. A new poll from Harvard shows Hillary Clinton would lead the pack should she decide to get into 2020 race. The survey has the former First Lady leading Joe Biden by a single point among national Democrats. The Washington Post publishing new details about the war in Afghanistan reporting top officials lied to the public about the 18-year-long conflict. Two thousand pages of notes, according to the Post, show the Pentagon knew the war strategy was flawed. yet said the opposite when reporting to the government and to the American people. As many of you know, I am a simple man. That means I break things down to easily understand them. To me, life is much easier this way. Yesterday, the Inspector General of the Justice Department, Michael Horowitz, issued a more than

400-page report written over an eight-month period, and in this report, Mr. Horace basically says just two things, just two. First, that the FBI was dishonest in seeking surveillance warrants to spy on the Trump campaign. And second, that no political bias was in play. Upon hearing that, fair-minded people all over the country said, really? So Michael Horowitz is convinced that the most sophisticated law enforcement agency in the world is incapable of properly requesting a wiretap on a presidential campaign, perhaps the most important investigation the FBI has had since the 9-11 attack. This is incredibly hard to believe. And Horowitz's boss, Attorney General William Barr, does not believe it.

He flat out says, Mr. Horowitz is full of it and hinted that criminal indictments against some FBI people will be forthcoming, which they certainly will be. Right now, U.S. Attorney, John Durham, is investigating the FBI for alleged crimes. That means former bosses, James Comey and Andrew McCabe are in trouble. Also, top investigator Peter Strzok, whose texts to his mistress clearly show incredible bias towards Donald Trump is not in a good place. By the way, Mr. Durham also issued a statement saying Michael Horowitz is wrong. The entire mess tells Americans that the FBI was and may still be politicized. Think about it. Even if, even if the Trump campaign did cooperate with Russia during the 2016 election,

and the FBI proved it, the case would have been thrown out because the surveillance warrants contained 17 mistakes, according to Michael Horowitz. So how can this happen? It can't. The FBI is like a military operation. The agents themselves in the field, the finest investigators in the world, take their orders from the top. That means James Comey and his assistants were telling the FBI agents what to do and how to do it. You can't say one guy made 17 mistakes and misled a judge in getting a warrant, and their superiors didn't know, because the superiors would have had to have read the paperwork that went to the FISA judge. Yet, that is what Michael Horowitz is saying. There was no political bias. Finally, current FBI chief, Christopher Ray,
