But first, the Department of Justice Inspector General revealed that more than two dozen confidential human sources were outside the Capitol building on January 6th of 2020, including four who entered the Capitol building and 13 who entered the restricted area around the Capitol. Our next Vice President said, for those keeping score at home, this was labeled a dangerous conspiracy theory months ago. Congressman Thomas Massey said it's no coincidence that FBI Director Ray announced his resignation just prior to the release of this report, exposing activities of FBI confidential human

sources at the Capitol. For four years, I pressed for answers on this, and now the malfeasance is finally exposed. Tom Holman, the incoming border czar, met with New York City Mayor Eric Adams yesterday to discuss how the sanctuary city can work with the incoming Trump administration to deport criminal illegal aliens from the United States. Mayor Adams, in contrast with the mayors of Chicago and L.A. and Denver and other blue cities, said, quote, I made it clear that I'm not going to be warring with this administration. I'm going to be working with this administration. We're looking at ways that I can use my executive power to go after those dangerous, violent people. To the mayor of Chicago, who said he will not cooperate with Holman and ICE, Holman said, we're going to start right

here in Chicago, Illinois. If your Chicago mayor doesn't want to help, he can step aside. But if he impedes us, if he knowingly harbors or conceals an illegal alien, I will prosecute him. A woman in Florida has been arrested after she allegedly threatened the CEO of the health insurance company Blue Shield. The 42-year-old woman called the health insurance company in response to a recent medical claim that was denied and threatened the CEO. She said, delay, deny, depose, you people are next. Those words were written on the bullet casings used to kill the United Healthcare CEO last week. AOC recently said that people have. interpret and feel the experience of denied claims as an act of violence against them.

A satanic statue outside the New Hampshire State House has been destroyed. A Democrat state rep encouraged a Salem-based Satanic Temple to get a permit to put up the display to represent our pluralistic society. She said, quote, I've just been a longtime supporter of the Satanic Temple in terms of their beliefs and the work that they do. Police have no idea on who knocked the statue over. Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day. On this Friday, these are sad times in the White House. As the President and First Lady will understand, the loser label is now applied permanently to them. the most powerful couple in the world just six months ago to please turn out the lights when you leave right now. President Carter experienced the exact same situation. He left the White House in January 1980 after being humiliated by the Iranian mulles enthrounced by Ronald Reagan. Mr. Carter has carried that bitterness with him for 43 years as I chronicle in my book confronting the presidents. Same thing with Herbert Hoover, James Buchanan, most of the

of the other failed presidents. And all of them blame others for their circumstance. Joe Biden will likely do the same thing, even though unlike Carter, his time is short. Already, Biden acolytes blamed Donald Trump for inflation, the chaotic border, the surrender in Afghanistan. It's preposterous, of course, but most people never admit failure. That's human nature. It is likely to get even worse for the Bidens, as investigations into their finances and terrible policies ramp up. I don't think Trump will play the vengeance card, but the Republican Party will. Washington is a brutal place. I can't summon up much sympathy for Joe and Jill, as both of them have hurt the country. The president is incompetent. The first lady

Truth is not a lot of support for the assassination. It's just generated by a few loons, but the social media bops it up.

Alan, my take is America's reaching tipping point regarding runaway corporate greed and obscene executive compensation and the absurdly high health care costs. Could be right. You could be right. People are very angry about the insurance situation. Let's go to David. it. While I completely understand your dislike of Senator McConnell Bill, for him to resign a Senate seat, would give it to a Democrat in Kentucky. That is true. But guys should not be there.

Now, the O'Reilly Update brings you something you might not know. 447 years ago today, an English explorer set sail for a lot of three-year journey around the world. He soon expanded the British Empire to new lands, including North America. Here is the story of Francis Drake. On December 13, 1577, Drake left England to raid Spanish territories in the Pacific Ocean. His five-ship flotilla crossed the Atlantic, then sailed around the Cape of South America, moving north. Only one ship. would survive that treacherous trip. Francis Drake landed near modern-day San Francisco in June 1579.

After pillaging Spanish forts along the coast, the explorer continued to search for a shorter route back to England. The captain returned to Europe one year later. He personally delivered gold, maps, and detailed information about the New World to Queen Elizabeth. He was knighted for his efforts. Despite the successful voyage, Sir Francis Drake's exploits went unknown for decades. Elizabeth declared his trip secret. Faring another European war, she denied any knowledge of raids against Spain. The journey fueled England's ambition for a global empire.

London soon sanctioned permanent settlements in the New World, including Roanoke and Jamestown, in Virginia Colony. Later in life, Sir Francis Drake was elected to serve in Parliament. To the English, he remained a hero until his death in 1596. For the Spanish, he was a hated pirate forever known as the Dragon. And here's something else you might not know. During Drake's journey into California, the Native Americans he encountered talked of rivers filled with a rare, shiny metal. After searching the days, his crew of.

80 gave up, assuming the tales were nothing more than folklore. It would take another 270 years for American pioneers to discover gold in the hills of Northern California. And one more fun fact, it seems I am a distant cousin to Sir Francis Drake on my mother's side. And I am kind of a pirate back after this.
