Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill.
Merry Christmas.
It is Wednesday, December 18th, 2024.
Here's this happening today.
in America, killed in Moscow.
CNN duped, charged with murder, and trans storyline dead named.
That's all coming up.
Then Bill's going to be here with your message of the day of first.
The head of Russia's radiation chemical and biological protection troops was killed
when his electric scooter exploded outside of his house in Moscow.
Sources from Ukraine's SBU security servants like their CIA said they were behind the blast.
The U.K. Foreign Office said that the force that this Russian commanded had deployed, quote, barbaric chemical weapons in Ukraine.
CNN is confirmed that they were duped.
CNN's chief international correspondent, Clarissa Ward, was in Syria when the leader Assad abandoned his country.
And she was a part of a team that rescued or freed a civilian political prisoner of Assad's.
But it turns out the person who she was rescuing,
was actually a Syrian Air Force intelligence officer.
Whoops.
After airing the report the first time,
Jake Tapper said that that report was just absolutely remarkable
and another case of vital, vital journalism.
The man accused of murdering the United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson and Manhattan
was charged with one count of murder in the first degree,
two counts of murder in the second degree,
along with weapons and forgery charges.
The 26-year-old is not going to fight extradition to New York,
he was captured in Pennsylvania.
If convicted of second-degree murder, he could face 15 years to life.
First degree gets him 20 years to life.
A poll was released by Emerson College that among people, over the age of 70, only 10% find,
well, I'd say 10% find his murder acceptable.
It seems like a lot.
81% say it was unacceptable.
But disturbingly, among 18 to 29-year-olds, 41% find the CEO's murder acceptable.
Only 40% find it unacceptable.
The latest example of how things are.
are changing in America. The first long-form series from Pixar, it's called Win or Lose,
was originally going to feature a transgender storyline. It's a show about a middle school
co-ed softball team getting ready for their championship and every episode follows a different
character and one of the kids was going to be transgender. Disney said when it comes to animated
content for a younger audience, we recognize that many parents would prefer to discuss certain
subjects with their children on their own terms and timeline. They're learning. I'm excited
for the podcast. Politics by Faith, Bill O'Reilly has your message today. Next.
Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war,
shaking the markets. And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On this Wednesday, in a largely unreported story, the Biden administration unfroze another $10 billion, so the mullahs in Iran, could have a nice Christmas.
Of course, the fundamental Islamists don't believe in Christmas, and if you do, you are an infidel.
That makes around $100 billion that President Biden has allowed to flow into Tehran.
That money was frozen in banks around the world after Iran refused to stop exporting terrorism.
They still leave the league in that death sport, but Joe doesn't seem to mind very much.
What's next? Pardoning the terror killers?
Oh, sorry I mentioned it.
The Biden administration says all that cash will be used for humanitarian concerns.
Sure, don't know about you, but when I hear the word Iran,
I immediately think of a benevolent government aiding those in need.
And the country's new program?
Well, that's simply to provide clean energy.
Right, Joe?
Joe?
Hello?
Like the open border, there is no rational reason
to help the craze mullas amass billions of dollars.
It will become blood money.
People will die.
Somebody gently awakened President Biden
and let him know that.
I'm Bill O'Reilly.

with all discussion surrounding president Biden's recent pardons i was curious why the founding
father said it wise to give the president this ability in our constitution because they feared
that some presidents uh would incarcerate opponents that's why i was in the constitution
said, you know, we might get some bad hombres as president and they could lock up all people
they didn't like politically and we got to have the next guy come in and pardon him. That's what
really happened there. Dave Walker, Palm Adale, California. Hey, Bill, I just bought my first
mug stand up for your country, the best one, I think, to encourage patriotism. Please explain
why there's such a long time between Election Day and inauguration, almost three months, because of the
nominating process to fill all the cabinet leadership positions. And you have to have a
transition in and out about there's a president and he's been doing this. You've got to wrap
things up. I like it. I like it. I think it's the smart thing to do. Russell Dino,
Fredericksburg, Virginia, looks like Pete Hague Seth has turned the corner in the Senate.
I don't think so. I think it still could go either way.
Norman Hoge, Province Forge, Virginia.
Mr. O'Reilly, I was listening to you.
The story about the father whose son died from Huffing.
I feel for this man.
Two years ago, I lost my 44-year-old son to Huffing.
Okay, so we're spreading that warning
that drug addicts are using household chemicals to get high
and they could easily die doing it.
If you know somebody involved with that,
just tell them, you know, we don't want you to die,
but you could at any time.

26 years ago today,
the House of Representatives began impeachment,
hearings against President Bill Clinton.
While a scandal derailed his political agenda, it eventually caused his popularity to reach a
record high.
Here is the story.
In January 1998, Newsweek, the Washington Post and the New York Times all reported an affair
between the president and a White House intern, Monica.
Lewinsky. Both Bill and Hillary Clinton denied the rumors. First Lady even went on the Today Show
where she dismissed the accusations as part of a, quote, vast right-wing conspiracy. You may
remember that. Well, the president then held a press conference, insisting I did not have
sexual relations with that woman, unquote. The allegations led to a federal probe under special
Council Ken Starr. On August 17, 1998, Bill Clinton became the first sitting president to testify
as the subject of a grand jury investigation. Days later, the president addressed the nation
giving his side of the story. He admitted to an inappropriate relationship with Ms. Lewinsky,
adding he regretted misleading his wife and the American people. His comments began a battle in
Congress over whether to remove President Clinton. While Democrats favored censure, Republicans
wanted him out, wanted him convicted in the Senate and booted. In December 1998, the House
voted to impeach Mr. Clinton. After a five-week trial in the Senate, he was acquitted of both
counts, and the vote wasn't even close. Here's something else you might not know.
now. Technology played a major role in breaking the Lewinsky story. News of the scandal was first
reported on the recently formed internet. The story broke as a byline on the Drudge Report website
just after midnight on January 17, 1998. The headline, quote, blockbuster report,
23-year-old White House intern, sex relationship with the president. Wow.
back after this.
