Bill O'Reilly here Monday, February 10th, 2020. You are listening to the O'Reilly Update. Here's what's
happening today in America. Hollywood's biggest stars target Republicans at the Academy Awards.
Mayor Pete, rising in the polls, fear in New York City after gunman ambushes police officers twice
in a 12-hour period. The death toll for the coronavirus surpasses the SARS epidemic.
The flight between New York City and London smashes speed records.
Also, I had chaos within the Democratic Party, but first.
Showbiz targeting President Trump and Republicans at the Academy Awards, no surprise.
Brad Pitt, Joaquin Phoenix, Leonardo DiCaprio, calling for new investigations into Mr. Trump
and more climate change regulation.
One Oscar winner quoting Carl Marx.
saying workers of the world unite. Pretty boring, I must say. Pete Buttigieg surging in the polls
just a day before the New Hampshire primary. Later surveys show the South Bend Indiana mayor tied
with Bernie Sanders to the top spot, followed by Warren, Klobuchar, and Biden. Former vice
president not too happy on the campaign trail these days, calling one supporter who gave him a little
jazz, a, quote, lying dog-faced pony soldier. Whatever that means. More on Mr. Biden coming up
in the message of the day. Outrage in New York City after a lone gunman opened fire on the
NYPD twice within 12 hours. The suspect initially ambishing two cops, injuring one, then targeting a
nearby police precinct building in the Bronx. The man eventually surrendered, but only after
running out of bullets. President Trump blaming Mayor de Blasio's weak leadership for the attack.
The coronavirus claiming its 800 victim in China, making the disease now deadlier than the SARS
epidemic back in 2003. Beijing confirming nearly 40,000 cases. 14 American citizens have tested
positive for the virus aboard a carnival cruise ship, now in quarantine.
near Japan. A flight between New York City and London smashing speed records reaching 850 miles per
hour thanks to tailwinds. The British Airways jet hitched the ride on the jet stream as major
storm slammed into the UK. In a moment, the Democratic Party in chaos. We'll be back with that
as the O'Reilly Update continues on this Monday. Mortgage rates are falling.
so much that over 9 million homeowners might benefit by refinancing, even if they bought a home
in the last two years. The latest report shows savings of more than $270 a month if you call
American financing. You could be looking at up to $1,000 in monthly savings, $1,000.
Their mortgage consultants look at your entire financial picture. They lower your rate and
find ways to consolidate your high interest debt without starting your term over. Because you
shouldn't pay interest on years you don't need. So make today the day you call American
financing and take advantage of a free mortgage review. There are no upfront fees. It takes 10
minutes to start. You may even be able to postpone two mortgage payments. 888-462-9557, 8884-9557,

Time now for the O'Reilly Update message of the day. After watching Friday's debate, it is obvious
that the Democrats have a conundrum. Joe Biden's campaign is falling apart. Bernie Sanders is leading,
and Michael Bloomberg is looming. All of that, good news for President Trump. Let's start with
Say It Ain't So Joe.
the man cannot seem to get a cogent sentence out of his mouth. In addition to
incessantly saying the words, in fact, he has no central message, nothing for voters to rally
behind. To use another of Biden's overused phrases, here's the deal, Joe. You say the current
economy is not good. After coming from eight years of economic malaise, underpresent.
President Obama? Do you think that's going to resonate when American unemployment is at the lowest
it's been in almost 70 years? You told the world you would not have killed Soleimani, the Iranian
terrorist. You also oppose the raid that got bin Laden, the only member of the Obama
cabinet to dissent. What kind of deal is that, Joe? Now, it was a
It wasn't your fault that Nancy Pelosi gave Republicans a big hammer during impeachment with
the Ukraine stuff. That videotape of you, getting a guy fired over there, as well as your son Hunter's
money grab, is now hurting you. It is possible to overcome that with a cogent message, but,
in fact, you don't have one. The same cannot be said of socialist Bernie. His message is loud and
clear. If he ever becomes president, America as we know it would vaporize. Consider the Sanders
wish list. The federal government would pretty much run the private economy. Profits and generous
take-home pay would be regulated by extreme taxation and private property seized through a wealth
tax. U.S. foreign policy would be totally non-confrontational, even in the terrorist arena.
Criminal justice reform would replace punishment with restorative justice that seeks the
healing of criminals. That begins with no cash bail for most offenses and upon convictions
alternatives to prison. The total dismantling of U.S. immigration law. That means open
borders and federal payments to all immigrants for health care and other necessities. In short,
Senator Sanders is a dangerous man. He would destroy this country economically, leading to staggering
unintended consequences. I wish I could better analyze the energetic Pete Buttigieg, who is rising
in the Democratic polls, but I can't ascertain exactly what he's talking about. I do know he wants to
turn the page. But what page? What book? What does he want to do? I can't figure it out.
With Elizabeth Warren no longer contending because few trust her, that leaves Mayor Mike
Bloomberg, who must be enjoying Joe Biden's collapse. Now tomorrow, I will analyze the mayor
right here in this space, but believe me, he is getting stronger. I'm Bill O'Reilly and I
approve that message by actually writing it. For more news analysis, please visit Bill O'Reilly.com.

Now, the O'Reilly Update brings you something you might not know.
2019 was a big year for the movies.
Most Americans took in at least two flicks, spending an average at $10 per ticket.
Total box office sales in the USA topping $12 billion.
Hollywood celebrated last night at the 92nd Academy Award program, which is sinking in the ratings,
by the way, because the industry has gone so far left.
Brad Pitt winning Best Supporting Actor for his role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,
the star using his acceptance speech to attack congressional Republicans, saying he wish
senators had heard from John Bolton in the impeachment trial.
Great Brad, thanks for that.
Other winners include South Korea's Parasite for Best Picture and Screenplay,
Joaquin Phoenix for his portrayal of Batman villain The Joker,
and Renee Zalweger for her performance as screen legend Judy Garland.
Last night's winners are now part of history.
The first Best Picture Oscar for a color film was awarded to Gone with the Win back in 1940.
Walt Disney holds the record with more than 26 awards and 64 nominations.
The most celebrated living nominee is composer John Williams with 52 nominations and five wins.
In fact, the 88-year-old musician was nominated again last night for his work on Star Wars, The Rise of Skywalker.
Walker. One of the most controversial Oscar wins goes back to 1992. British actor Anthony Hopkins
taking home best actor for his performance as Dr. Hannibal Lecter in the movie Silence of
the Lambs. Despite the film's two-hour 20-minute runtime, Hopkins is on screen for a grand
total of 11 minutes. And he won. And here's something you might not know. The Oscar comes at a pretty
high price. Each year the Academy Award program spends more than $44 million just to put the show
on. The price tag includes $900 for each trophy, 12,000 glasses of champagne, 700 pounds of Maine
lobster. Wow. Sounds like capitalism to me. What say you, far left people in Hollywood?
