Bill O'Reilly here, Tuesday, February 11, 2020. You are listening to the O'Reilly update. Here's what's
happening across our nation. New Hampshire voters head to the polls. President Trump holds a
massive rally in the Granite State last night. The Attorney General unveils significant penalties
for America's sanctuary cities. New study shows one-third of Americans are just a single
purchase away from maxing out their credit cards.
also had some very bad news from Mayor Mike. But first, voters in New Hampshire weigh in today.
Final polls put Bernie Sanders and Pete Buttigieg on top, followed by Amy Klobuchar, Elizabeth
Warren, and Joe Biden in fifth place. Sanders hoping for a repeat of 2016 when he beat Hillary
Clinton by 22 points. Remember that? Other national surveys show Mr. Biden in big trouble
among his base. Recent study from Quinnipe Act says the former vice president has lost nearly half
his support from African American voters. In late January, Biden enjoyed a 52% margin among blacks.
That number now stands at 27% after his poor performance in Iowa. President Trump and
Vice President Pence, holding a massive rally in New Hampshire the night before the primary.
Trump mocking Nancy Pelosi saying, quote, she was mumbling and confused during his State of the Union address.
Attorney General Barr unveiling significant penalties for America's sanctuary cities.
The new guidelines punish local governments that shield illegal alien criminals from ICE agents.
Penalties include reduced federal aid to the individual states.
Roughly one-third of all Americans, more than 91 million people, say they live with the daily
fear of maxing out their credit cards. According to a new survey from Wallet Hub, 33% of U.S.
adults confirm that an unexpected purchase of $100 could put them over their card limit.
The average American household has $7,000 of credit card debt.
on that is draining, to say the least. This is not taught in schools and is not emphasized in
society, but pay as you go is the best economic plan an American can have. In a moment, Mayor
Mike, not on the ballot today. Does he have a chance? Maybe, but he's got some bad news.
Right back.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update. Message of the day. As you know, as we have reported,
the New Hampshire primary will unveil itself late tonight. Mayor Mike Bloomberg
is not on the ballot. He's not competing in the first four votes, Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada,
South Carolina. The first time Americans will get a chance to vote for the mayor will be on
Super Tuesday, March 3rd. So far, Mike Bloomberg has spent more than $200 million on presidential ads.
and he's polling around 10% despite the fact that he has not been in in any debates
and that he has basically avoided any confrontations with his competition in the Democratic Party.
But today's some very bad news from Mike Bloomberg.
Audio taken in Aspen, Colorado in the year 2015, shows that Mayor Mike,
defended his stop and frisk policies as mayor of New York City.
He served New York for 12 years.
On the tape, Bloomberg is heard saying, quote,
throw them against the wall.
The best way to get guns off the street is to frisk and take them away.
Bloomberg is talking about young black men in that audio clip.
And as everybody knows, African Americans are a key constituency for the Democratic Party.
Now, Bloomberg has apologized for his stop and frisk situation in New York, but this tape is going to
hurt him. By the way, stop and frisk was very effective in getting guns off the street and
dropping the homicide rate in the Big Apple. Now, Mike Bloomberg is 77 years old, born in
Boston. He has an MBA from Harvard. He began his career as a broker for Solomon. He left the company
with a $10 million severance and started Bloomberg LP in 1981. There, he created the Bloomberg
terminal for real-time trading data. Currently, 300,000 machines are still used today.
He made billions. Bloomberg became mayor of New York City in 2001, following Rudy Giuliani.
He won re-election in 2005 and then got a special waiver to run a third time in 2009, and he won.
He was a Republican from 2001 to 2007, an independent from 7 to 18. Now he's a Democrat.
Bloomberg, as I said, has spent more than 200 million on the race for president so far.
He says he'll spend $2 billion, if necessary. His total worth $61 billion.
So no matter what happens today in New Hampshire, the specter of Mike Bloomberg looms, but with
the stop and frisk tape, and with him being a billionaire, as Bernie Sanders would say,
he has got some deficits within the Democratic Party. Will Mayor Bloomberg win the nomination
outright? Doubtful. But he could go to the Democratic.
a convention in the summer and win a brokered situation. I'm Bill O'Reilly and I approve that message

the Iowa caucus still in question, the election of 2020 travels to New Hampshire for tonight's
primary. Twenty-four delegates up for grabs in the Granite State. Ladies' polls of Bernie Sanders
and Pete Buttigieg tied for first, followed by Warren Klobuchar and Biden. After months of
campaigning and millions in ads, a third of New Hampshire voters remain undecided. Forty-five
percent say they might change their minds at the last minute.
Hampshire has a long history of reshaping entire presidential campaigns. Here are some examples.
1952, Harry Truman wants to be re-elected, but he's facing stiff competition from inside his own
party. He drops out of the race after failing to win a single New Hampshire delegate.
The nomination goes to Illinois Governor Adelae Stevenson, who is slaughtered by Dwight
Eisenhower in a landslide. New Hampshire said another presidential candidate
packing in 1968, this time President Lyndon Johnson. Faced with failing health and the Vietnam
war debacle, all it took was a week showing in New Hampshire to convince LBJ to quit
1980. Just days before the primary, Ronald Reagan delivers a knockout soundbite during the final
debate. Producers tried to cut off his microphone mid-speech, only one problem. His campaign
funded the event. Reagan yelled, I'm paying for this microphone.
microphone. The room erupted in applause, including his rival candidates.
1992, the story of the comeback kid. After a third-place finish in Iowa, Bill Clinton needed
a win badly. The folks in New Hampshire delivered, Clinton secured a second-place finish,
giving him momentum to win 37 more primary contests. He was the first presidential candidate
to lose the New Hampshire primary, but win the election. And here's something you might
not know, since 1952, there are only two candidates to win the White House without a New Hampshire
primary victory, George W. Bush and Barack Obama. It is true, we live in a far different age
where the internet and cable news can sway voters from day to day, even moment to moment.
That could happen tonight in New Hampshire, but it is a very important.
