Bill O'Reilly here, Thursday, February 20th, 2020. You are listening to the O'Reilly Update. Here's what's
happening across our nation. Big Dem shootout last night in Las Vegas. San Francisco's mayor flat
out refusing to work with the federal government on illegal immigration. New York and New Jersey
lose more residents than any other state. Business owners in Austin, Texas say the homeless
crisis there is out of control.
Also, we'll analyze a debate and give the candidates grades as six Democrats discussed immigration, free
health care, and mostly attacked Michael Bloomberg, who made his first national debate appearance
since joining the race. He is outspending his fellow candidates 10 to 1. Mayor Mike not competing
in this weekend's Nevada caucus. Last night, Elizabeth Warren went after him from the jump for being
anti-woman and anti-black. In response, Mayor Mike looked weak, failing to explain why he did what he did
as mayor of New York City and head of a large corporation. We'll have more analysis on this
in just a few moments. San Francisco refusing to cooperate with the Trump administration on
illegal immigration. Mayor London Breed telling reporters her police department will not comply with
request from ICE agents for detained aliens. San Francisco has won three federal lawsuits against
the Trump administration since 2017, upholding their sanctuary city policies. All are on appeal
could be reversed, but the president himself will sanction the city by the bay. It's just a matter
of how he will do it. Residents leaving New York State and New Jersey more than any other place
in the USA, according to a study by the Census Department, close to a half million people
left the region in 12 months. Blaming high taxes, high housing costs, and a general PC atmosphere.
The fastest growing states in the country, Arizona, Idaho, and Utah.
Business owners in Austin, Texas say the city's housing crisis is hurting them.
The region is home to the fastest growing homeless population in the nation.
After a new law legalized public camping,
2019 survey found 55% of Austin residents now fear
when walking downtown after dark.
And they should.
In a moment, I'll award grades for the presidential debaters last night,
right back after these messages.

Democratic debate in Las Vegas, Nevada. And it was held there because on Saturday, there will be
a vote in Nevada. It was the liveliest of the previous eight debates. This was number nine.
It was lively, not boring until about an hour in, then it started to drag.
the big story, the big headline is Mike Bloomberg was there, first time ever, and I gave Mayor Bloomberg
a D as in Dopey. He was befuddled, a word I often use about Joe Biden, we'll get to him.
So Mayor Mike, it's really an interesting situation. He spent 200 million on his campaign,
and that includes hiring very smart people to advise him. Well, did they?
not know that Elizabeth Warren was going to label Bloomberg anti-woman? That happened 10 seconds into
the debate. Did Mike not know that was coming? Did the mayor not know he was going to be
branded a racist for the stop and frisk policy in New York City while he was mayor? Did he not know
that? He had no answer. And the answer is in difficult. You look at the person calling
you were racist, and you say, do you know how many violent crime victims in urban centers in America
are people of color? And of course, the person is not going to know, but it's 90% of victims of
violent crime in the big cities are people of color. And then you say, I tried to help them.
And maybe Stop and Friske isn't the right way to do it, in hindsight, but I brought the murder
raid down and save lives. That's it. And on the anti-woman stuff, you just say, look, I'm the head of a
corporation, and there's beefs with employees all the time. We either litigate in court or we settle
them. That's the way it does. Every corporation does that. We're not going to tear up contracts
because of your PC view. That's what you say. Bloomberg, he had no answer. Elizabeth Warren was
desperate last night, her campaign's falling apart, but she won the debate because she was aggressive
and nobody challenged her, but she's so unlikable. That's why Hillary Clinton lost last time. Elizabeth Warren
is just unlikable. Senator Klobuchar is not. She's a likable woman. She did well last night. I gave
her a B. I gave Warren a B in Bloomberg a D, if you keep me score. Clobuchar is not going to get the
nomination, but she's smart and she's a moderate and she comes across as credible. Bernie Sanders
didn't do anything new. He stood there, waved his arms around like Fidel Castro used to do. What he says
is insane. He wants to pay for every single medical bill, every single dental bill, all your
eyeglasses, all your hearing aids, senior care, pre-K, college. There's not enough money in the
world. That's all anybody has to say to Bernie Sanders. You're a charlatan. You can't do it. This is
ridiculous. Mayor Pete, I don't know. He's just too eager.
I think he heard himself in a debate.
And finally, Biden, a D, as in dopey, no message, no reason to be there.
He's done.
So you got the vote on Saturday in Nevada.
The next week, South Carolina, if Biden doesn't win South Carolina, he'll have to withdraw.
That's where we are.
We'll have the Nevada stuff right here on Monday.
I'm Bill O'Reilly, and I approve that message by actually writing it.

Why pay more than 21% in interest if you can pay under 4%?
Some credit card rates are now over 21%,
whereas many mortgage rates are under 4%.
Some even charge 3% or less depending on your loan program.
That's huge.
Stop wasting your money.

Now, the O'Reilly Update brings you something you might not know.
In 1975, Mick Jagger told People magazine that he would rather be dead than sing the song's satisfaction
in his 40s.
Well, now Mick is 76 years old, and the Rolling Stones are going back on tour.
Satisfaction still on the set list, at least in some shows.
After more than five decades, the band kicks off their no-filtered tour of North America, May 8th, and San Diego.
The 15-city jaunt is the latest from one of rock and roll's longest running acts.
All-in, The Stones have played 2,000 concerts, made more than 30 studio albums, recorded 365 songs, quite a resume.
But did you know that Mick Jagger and Keith Richards first met when they were just five years old,
attending the same elementary school? We all know Mick's got the dance moves, but he's also
got some brains. He attended the prestigious London School of Economics in 1963 before ditching
his studies to pursue his music. Obviously it paid off. Listen two years later, the Stones were
playing stadiums in America.
Before their commercial success, the band had some commercial success.
It recorded a jingle for a cereal in the U.K.
The song's main lyric included,
Wake Up in the Morning, there's Crackle in Your Face.
You can still see that commercial on YouTube.
The Stones are also behind one of the biggest licensing deals in music history.
Bill Gates reportedly paid the group
$3 million to use their hit single, Start Me Up, for commercials promoting Microsoft Windows 95.
And here's something else you might not know.
Satisfaction was the Stone's first number one hit in the U.S., but it almost was not released
at all. Keith Richards and Jagger didn't think the song had any commercial appeal.
They almost released it as a B-side with an extended harmonica.
solo inside the song satisfaction. That would not have been good because it is the guitar sting
that makes satisfaction an unforgettable record. Back after this. There are thousands of abandoned
