Cartels on the list. Cabinet almost complete and championship game tonight. It's all coming up, and Bill's going to be here with your message of the day. But first, yesterday we were talking about the American delegation meeting with the delegation from Russia in Saudi Arabia. Arabia to end the war with Ukraine. Well, the media is saying that some European leaders are complaining that they

weren't at the table. Trump said at a press conference, you had three years at the table and you haven't ended this war yet. Trump wrote a long post on truth social, just part of it. Think of it. A modestly successful comedian, Zelensky, talked to the United States of America into spending $350 billion to go into a war that couldn't be one that never had to start, but a war that he, without the U.S. and Trump, will never be able to settle.

He ended the post saying, in the meantime, we're successfully negotiating an end to the war with Russia, something all admit only Trump and the Trump administration can do. Biden never tried. Europe's failed to bring peace. And Zelensky probably wants to keep the gravy train going. I love Ukraine, but Zelensky has done a terrible job. His country has shattered and millions have unnecessarily died. And so it continues. Yesterday, we reported that the CIA has been flying drones well into Mexican airspace.

Now the State Department has officially designated specific cartels as foreign terrorist organizations. Trende-Aaragua, MS-13, the Sinaloa Cartel, Halisco New Generation Cartel, United Cartels, Northeast Cartel, Gulf Cartel, and the Micho-Kan family. On February 5th, the Attorney General wrote a memo entitled Total Elimination of Cartels and Transnational Criminal Organizations. The memo says this policy requires a fundamental change in mindset and approach. We must do more than try to mitigate the enormous harms these groups cause in America. It is not enough to stem the tide of deadly poison, such as fentanyl, that these groups

distribute to our homeland. The Senate has now approved 18 of Trump's cabinet members in 31 days. Biden at this point only had seven cabinet members approved, even outpacing Obama, who had 17 at this same amount of time. It took the Democratic majority 56 days to approve 18 members. of Biden's cabinet. So Senate Republicans did a good job. Cash Patel's vote is today, but technically he's not in the cabinet. The four nation faceoff comes down to tonight, the championship game, Team USA versus Canada, ESPN. A couple of days ago, America beat Canada three to one in Canada.

But here is the truth about the Ukraine war negotiations. Number one, Donald Trump does not want to negotiate with Zelensky of Ukraine or any

in Europe. He wants it one-on-one with Putin the villain. And that's what he's getting right now. He wants to make a deal that Putin stops the invasion of Ukraine. I don't know what the deal will be. I do know that Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, is not going to like the deal. And Trump knows that. Trump does not trust Zelensky. I have no idea. I don't know whether Zelensky is an honest man or not. I give him the benefit of the doubt. I think he's a courageous man, Zelensky, but I know Trump doesn't have any regard for him. As far as Europe is concerned, why would Trump bring in the European countries for a negotiation with Bad Vlad? There was an article in the Wall Street

journal that said, hey, Trump is mainstreaming evil Putin. It's true. Putin is really evil. He's on the cover of my book confronting the evil. But Trump is softening him up. I would like to believe there is no comparison. Well, people believe, Randall, what they want to believe,

but Nancy Pelosi said to her constituents in the House of Representatives, if you don't vote my way, will primary you. Donald Trump has not said that outwardly, but the message is clear if House members and senators don't vote the way Trump wants, they could get primary. But you make the call. This goes right back to the top.

118 years ago today, President Theodore Roosevelt signed a new law banning most migrants from the USA, included on that banned list, quote, idiots and imbeciles, unquote. Here is the story. The first federal law restricting foreigners was an important. enacted after the Civil War, the statute banned the entry of potential enemies to the USA. In 1882, the rules were changed to limit migrants based on national origin. System favored people from England, Scandinavia, Germany.

Undesirables included Mexicans, Africans, and Chinese. However, too many dubious individuals were still entering the United States. At least, that's what the feds thought. So in February 1907, President Roosevelt signed new legislation. Going forward, the USA would deny, quote, idiots, imbeciles, feeble-minded persons, and insane persons. Though not specifically mentioned, the law also banned, prostitutes, drug addicts, and anyone who spent time in a mental asylum or prison. Ten years later, Congress imposed even more restrictions. Nearly all Asians were denied.

The ban included alcoholics, illiterates, paupers, polygamists, and vagrants. The bill also imposed an immigration head tax of $8 a person. So you had to buy your way in here, if you qualify. And here's something else you might not know. These laws remained in place for 35 years. The Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1952 officially eliminated racial restrictions. The USA abandoned the quota system in 1965. As a result, the Chinese population in America doubled within five years.

Today, our immigration system is a mess. One million people are legally allowed into the country each year. That figure includes family members of green card holders, refugees, asylum seekers, and employment-based scholarships. Another 50,000 are admitted using a visa lottery. They're chosen at random. Meantime, 15 million people have illegally crossed into the USA since 2020. Back after this.
