But first, a U.S. Russian dual citizen. was arrested in Russia for charges of treason because she donated to a Ukrainian charity while in the United States. She donated $51.80. This 33-year-old woman lives in L.A. She works as a ballerina and at a spa was arrested in a Russian city for providing financial assistance to a foreign state in activities directed against Russian security. She became a U.S. citizen
Starting point is 00:00:56 in 2021. She was in that Russian city visiting her nine. year old grandmother. Russia does not recognize dual citizenship. So in their eyes, she's a Russian citizen who is supporting the enemy. Joe Biden has canceled $1.2 billion in student debt for $150,000 borrowers. It's an average of $8,000 per borrower. They got an email. Congratulations. All or a portion of your federal student loans will be forgiven because you qualify for early loan forgiveness under my administration's save plan. Jesus, is this an election year? There are more than 7.5 million people in the save plan. This 150,000
Starting point is 00:01:33 is just the first batch to get their debt wiped clean. The Alabama Supreme Court declared that frozen embryos are human lives. The justices wrote that the people of Alabama have declared the public policy of this state to be
Starting point is 00:01:49 that unborn human life is sacred. All three branches of government are subject to a constitutional mandate to treat each unborn human life with reverend. In response, the University of Alabama health system is pausing all in vitro fertilization, IVF treatment. The university said we are saddened that this will impact the patient's attempt to have a baby through IVF, but we must evaluate the potential that our patients and our physicians could be prosecuted criminally or face punitive damages for following the standard of care for IVF treatments.
Starting point is 00:02:24 There are 2,000 grandmasters in the world of chess, and one of them lost to. a match in Switzerland. His dad says he plays chess seven hours a day. I'm Mike Slater from the podcast, Politics by Fate. The Great Bill O'Reilly has your message of the day. Next. Starting point is 00:04:06 On this Thursday, the Biden family drama continues with brother James Biden testifying under oath in front of the House Oversight Committee. This is all part of the impeachment inquiry. The subject that James had a face was, how on earth could he and his nephew,
Starting point is 00:04:27 Hunter Biden, amassed tens of millions of dollars for essentially doing nothing. Of course, every clear thinking person in the country knows the answer to that question. But Democrats don't care. Let the foreign money flow. Between the Bidens and Donald Trump, this country is exhausted. It is clear the Biden's sold perceived influence to enriches. rich themselves. Just as Mr. Trump overvalued his properties to get bank loans. He would have
Starting point is 00:05:07 gotten them anyway, but it was easier if the value of his holdings was higher. Yet Donald Trump is crucified for what is essentially an ethical situation. Yet the Biden saga somehow is slow walked. But I think there is more to come for the family from Delaware. I could be wrong, but banking records are damning. Jim Hunter and Joe are not in a good place. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me. Bill at Bill o'Reilly.com. Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com, name in town, if you wish to opine. Okay, let's segue right into the mail, John Vannamon, Oceanside, California. Hey, Bill, most people realize that the media spins facts and puts out propaganda.
Starting point is 00:06:04 Even newspapers don't seem reliable. That's why I have paid attention to your updates on various stations since the 1990s. Thank you. I appreciate that. And now I watch the no-spin news. As you stated yesterday, the news used. to be facts. I remember this when I was young. What would be the easiest way to cut through all the spin and get the facts today? There's no easy way. This isn't. So I get the Wall Street
Starting point is 00:06:32 Journal delivered every day. Their editorial page is usually very accurate. Sem 4 is a website. okay I look at it um pangle you had the guy on a couple of weeks ago seems to be fairly accurate but you got a search and of course bill o'reilly dot com and we have loaded that website up you need to just go there and look at all the things that we have so but it's not easy Bill Blackwell, Menafee, California, do you think George Soros is putting money into Nikki Haley's campaign to keep her in the race? George Soros is not putting money into Nikki Haley's campaign as far as we know. So whoever told you that is misleading you, Bill.
Starting point is 00:07:24 Keep that of mind. Harold Whitkoff, Boynton Beach, Florida. Hey, Bill, how about you consider how the Republican House is blocking everything and they're the ones who are not governing? Well, I don't have a lot of faith in the Republican House representatives. I mean, I think some of their conduct is abysmal. But I analyze each issue as it comes down. I don't generalize.
Starting point is 00:07:51 But there is a fringe group of Republicans in the House that just like the squad on the left. In a moment, something you might not know. Power, politics and the people behind the headlines. I'm Miranda Devine, New York Post columnist and the host of the brand new podcast, Podforce One. Now the O'Reilly Update brings you something you might not know. 292 years ago today, an English subject was born in the British colony of Virginia. By the age of 43, he would leave an armed rebellion against the most. powerful nation on earth. Here is the story of George Washington. Young George was the first of six children. He rose to prosperity through hard work. His first job at age 17 was a land surveyor in the Shenandoah Valley. In 1752, Washington joined the British Army and served in
Starting point is 00:09:26 the French and Indian War. After that conflict, he returned to Virginia to manage his family's plantation, Mount Vernon. In 1759, George married a wealthy widow, Martha. Although the couple had no children, Washington adopted Martha's son and daughter from her previous marriage. Like other patriots, he grew increasingly frustrated with the British government. Soon, he joined his co-revolutionaries in the Continental Congress. In 1775, the Congress unanimously chose George Washington to command the Continental Army. Part of his success in the Revolutionary War was his use of guerrilla warfare.
Starting point is 00:10:11 The general launched hit-and-run attacks against the British who were used to formal tactics on the battlefield. After the war, Washington was selected to serve as the first president of the United States. And here's something else you might not know. Despite his extraordinary position in American history, George Washington was basically an ordinary guy. He enjoyed cricket, fox hunting. His favorite foods, pineapples, Brazil nuts, Saturday dinners of salt cod. He loved dogs, especially his favorite hounds named tipsy, drunkard, and sweet lips. Washington was also infamously stubborn when dealing with his fellow founding fathers. Later in life, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams routinely referred to George as old
Starting point is 00:11:09 mutton head. In my upcoming book confronting the presidents, we will tell you that George Washington's mother did not like him very much. But happy birthday anyway, George, back after this.
