Americans say they do not trust the media to report honestly on the upcoming presidential election campaign. According to Pew Research, 82% of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independence. And 84% of Republicans say they are very or somewhat concerned about the influence that made up news could have on the election. Forty-eight percent of Democrats, 49 percent of Republicans say they are very concerned about fake news, and they should be.
Starting point is 00:04:44 In all 75 percent of Americans, following the election, are very concerned. concerned about made-up information. Now, the problem is money. Media companies do not try to appeal to all Americans anymore. Instead, the New York Times, the Washington Post, NBC News, CNN, et cetera, make their profits catering to liberal Americans. Fox News does the opposite. Programming basically for conservatives. So who's covering the news for everyone? Well, no one. As a result, stories are ignored that may help President Trump or a Democrat candidate. Other stories are distorted on the same basis. So the news industry has morphed into another sports industry. Root, root, root for the home team. If they don't win, it's a shame.
Starting point is 00:05:55 The result is a mass distortion. I mean, how are you at home supposed to know what's true and what's fiction? You can't. The ultimate result of this will be a media collapsed and an ill-informed public. Already, the nightly news broadcasts are declining drastically. CBS News is now below six million viewers each night. That's a disaster. CNN's ratings are in the tank. MSNBC falling as well. Since Fox News is the only major news agency that supports Donald Trump, it has that market all to itself. so its ratings stay steady. Now, the founding fathers gave the press in America special privileges because the founders knew that the American people had to have honest information
Starting point is 00:07:02 in order to make responsible voting decisions. We live in a country where the real power is centered in the population, you, the American person. But now if you cannot get factual information from the media, which is, again, using special privileges in order to make billions of dollars, if you can't get the truth, how are you going to know what's going on? It's impossible, and it's a brutal situation. I'm Bill O'Reilly and I approve that message by actually writing it. For more news analysis, please visit Bill O'Reilly.com where you will find honest reporting on the campaign. In a moment, something you might not know. Computer systems and cars now common.

Hillsboro, California, home to the infamous Flintstone House. A $3 million property decorated with dinosaur statues. Tourists love it, but the locals hate it. Town sued the owners last year. Scarsdale, New York. Richest town on the East Coast. The village is just 13 miles outside of New York.
Starting point is 00:11:11 York City, average household income, a half million dollars. Wow. Richest place in the USA. Ready? Atherton, California, another Silicon Valley play.
