Bill O'Reilly here.
You are listening to the O'Reilly update.
Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill.
It's Monday, February 26, 2024.
Here's what's happening today in America.
Trump sweeps, nursing student killed.
Arizona border crossing, and Newsom says Biden's age is an asset.
It's all coming up, and Bill's going to be here with your message of the day.
But first, 6040, Donald Trump won the South Carolina
primary. He beat Nikki Haley by 20 points, the former governor of South Carolina. It's got to be
the most embarrassing home state loss since Al Gore lost his home state of Tennessee in the year
2000. She was the governor, her lieutenant governor, who's now the governor, endorsed Donald Trump.
The person she appointed to the Senate. Tim Scott endorsed Donald Trump. Trump almost won every
delegate. They award delegates based off who wins the overall popular vote and then three
delegates per congressional district.
Nikki Haley won one of the congressional districts.
The Michigan primary is tomorrow.
The latest poll has trump up 60 points.
He doesn't have 60.
He is winning by 60 points.
Last week, a nursing student at University of Georgia was found dead on campus,
22-year-old Lake in Riley.
The suspect is Jose Antonio Ibada, who happens to be an illegal immigrant.
Crossed in September, 22,
an El Paso and you may be thinking, geez, how do we know that? Well, he was captured by
the Border Patrol and then released. Then he went to New York City, where he was arrested for
child endangerment of his five-year-old son. He left his wife, moved to Georgia to live with
his brother. Turns out his brother has a fake green card, which he used to get a job on UGA's
campus. Speaking of the border after taxes cracked down in the border against the demand of
the federal government, now Arizona is the number one place for illegal immigrants to cross.
During the first four months of this past fiscal year, Border Patrol had 250,000 migrant apprehensions just in the Tucson sector alone.
Gavin Newsom, the governor of California and his continued quest to align himself to be the backup to Joe Biden, was on Meet the Press.
And he said Joe Biden's presidency has been a masterclass on how to run the United States.
The Meet the Press anchor said 76 percent of voters say they have real concerns about President Biden's ability to serve.
a second term. Newsom said, as you know, I've been on the campaign trail. I've seen him up close.
I've seen him from far. It's because of his age that he's been so successful. Oh, that's such
good spin. His age isn't a problem. It's his best asset as he can't put sentences together.
I'm Mike Slater from the podcast Politics by Faith the Great Bill O'Reilly has your message of the day.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On this Monday, Alexander Smyrnav, know the name?
Heard about this guy?
Sounds like a vodka that George Clooney would be selling.
Well, Smyrnav was the person who accused President Biden and Hunter Biden
of taking $5 million each from the corrupt Burisma energy company in Ukraine.
remember that and the right-wing media went nuts look at this more evidence of bribery
and the left-wing media totally ignored it but this program which is built on fair journalism
did not even mention smirnoff not once and that's because we could not verify what he was
saying. There was absolutely no way to put anything into perspective. Here's a guy that just
pops out of nowhere, Ukrainian, makes this accusation. How do we know? Now, the right-wing media
wanted it to be true. So that's why they reported it. The left-wing media didn't want it to
be true, so they ignored it. And that's the country we live in journalistically. Doesn't matter
anymore. Now, I'm patting myself on the back. I understand that. But you take the time to listen to me
on the radio, and I will tell you, no spin zone. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing
it. You can reach me. Bill at Bill o'Reilly.com. Bill at Bill o'Reilly.com. Name in town if you
wish to opine. Now let's go to the mail. Steve Young,
Johnston, Iowa. No doubt Biden has made inflation worse, but Trump would have had much higher
inflation in second term due to post-COVID economic conditions. Not necessarily. Trump got out
office 1.6 percent inflation, and he was already two years into COVID. And I don't think Trump
would have gotten behind all of those giant trillion dollar spending bills that Biden did.
he might have done some of it.
Remember, most of the COVID money for Trump went to the pharmaceuticals to develop the vaccines.
So I didn't see it.
And you would have seen more of it, by the way, in 2020, January, if Trump ignited inflation,
you would have seen a higher rate than 1-6.
Tim Blackburn, Niagara Falls, New York, appreciate your sentiment on not wanting to live
100 years old. I'm almost 70. Very aware of my mortality. I engage my elderly peers in active
discussions and some want to live forever. I found that people who have faith are the ones
that don't want to live to 100. Well, I think there's something to that. So if you believe
that there is a better place and you're a good person, then you're not as nervous that if you're
Hitler. Okay? And there is, you're going down. People who have no faith, I mean, there's nothing,
they're not looking forward to anything. Do they think once they're dead, that's it. So it makes
sense. Anna, I'm praying for divine intervention at this time in history. May God help our country.
Well, that's good. We need divine intervention and we've gotten it here in America a lot.
So hopefully we'll get it again.

Twelve years ago today, a black teenager shot dead in Central Florida.
The killing would create the biggest anti-police movement in U.S. history.
Here's the story of Trayvon Martin.
On February 26, 2012, the 17-year-old was a 17-year-old was a bigist.
visiting his father's home near Orlando. He was spotted wandering around the community by a guy
named George Zimmerman, 28-year-old member of the Neighborhood Watch. Zimmerman called local
dispatch saying he had seen a suspicious man walking between houses. He was instructed not to
follow the suspect, but he ignored that order.
Moments later, gunfire rang out.
When police arrived, Trayvon Martin was dead.
Zimmerman, who had a bloody nose and cuts on the back of his head, was questioned, then
released.
There were no eyewitnesses.
And police chose not to arrest Zimmerman who claimed to have acted in self-defense.
Well, the case became a global scandal.
were held in cities nationwide, including New York, where tens of thousands gathered for the
Million Hoodie March. On April 11, 2012, following weeks of demonstrations, a special prosecutor
appointed by Florida's governor charged Zimmerman with second-degree murder. He pleaded not guilty
and the case went to trial in June 2013. On July 13th, after liberating for 16 hours over two
days, a jury of six women found Zimmerman not guilty. And here's something else you might not
know. The death of Trayvon led to the formation of Black Lives Matter. The Marxist group currently
has 40 official chapters in the USA, hundreds overseas. The organization believes police remain
the biggest threat to African Americans, but here are the stats. On average,
the annual number of unarmed minorities killed by American police, fewer than 15.
Meanwhile, 10,000 black Americans are killed each year, mostly by other black Americans.
