Bill O'Reilly here. You are listening to the O'Reilly update.
Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill. It is Friday, February 6th, 2026.
Here's this happening today in America.
The Save Act, FBI arrest, Trump RX, and the All-American halftime show.
It's all coming up, then Bill's going to be here with your message of the day.
But first, Senate Republican leaders met in the Oval Office with the President to talk about the Save Act.
After their meeting, the President sent a message.
America's elections are rigged, stolen, and a laughing stock all over the world.
We are either going to fix them or we won't have a country any longer.
I am asking all Republicans to fight for the following.
Save America Act.
Number one, all voters must show voter ID.
Number two, all voters most show proof of United States citizenship to register for voting.
Number three, no mail-in ballots except for illness, disability, military, or travel.
CNN admitted that 83% of voters supported this, including 71% of people.
Senate Democrats. And Chuck Schumer was asked about this. He called it Jim Crow 2.0. The FBI arrested someone
who made an imposter ransom demand for Savannah Guthrie's mom, Nancy. She was abducted from her Arizona home
Sunday morning. No suspect or person of interest has been identified. Someone did demand a Bitcoin
payment to a local Tucson media outlet. Two days later, this guy also demanded a payment in Bitcoin.
He, the second person, was arrested, but he's not related to the actual abduction.
The president said he talked to Savannah the other day and promised the full efforts of the FBI
to get her mom home.
The president unveiled Trump RX last night with Dr. Oz and also the head of the National
Design Studio, who was the co-founder of Airbnb.
The White House said that Trump RX is a state-of-the-art website for American consumers to purchase
low-cost prescription drugs.
It's a place where any consumer can go and pay the lowest cash price without insurance.
For instance, OZempic, usually $1,000 a month down to $199.
Wagovi from $1,350 a month down to $199 as well, among many other prescription drugs.
Bad Bunny is performing the halftime show this Sunday.
Friendly reminder that Charlie Kirk's Turning Point USA is offering a counter halftime show
called the All-American Half-Time Show
featuring Kid Rock with Brantley Gilbert,
Lee Bryce, and Gabby Barrett.
You can watch that halftime show
on all Turning Point USA social media outlets,
Daily Wire Plus, TBN, One American News Network,
and Real America's voice.
The big game itself between the Seattle Seahawks
and the New England Patriots kick off this Sunday at 630.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On this Friday, I'm on my way to the Super Bowl out on the West Coast,
and it is capitalism versus I don't know what.
Now, in a capitalism system, there are no cost controls, price control.
you can charge what you want.
And the Super Bowl is, of course, a unique situation.
So listen to this.
About a billion dollars is going to be generated by this football game, all told everywhere.
The most expensive ticket on vivid seats right now, $30,000.
Whoa.
Cheapest ticket, about $4,000.
Now, if you get to the stadium, Levi's stadium,
stadium. You want a beer, it's 12 bucks. Hot dog, seven bucks. You get the idea. $40 for a hat,
on and on. But it's the hotels that are crazy. In the San Francisco Santa Clara area,
you might expect to pay $500 a night in regular times. Ready? $2,300 a night to stay in downtown San Francisco.
I might stay with some of the homeless.
How about parking?
Drive to the stadium, $250.
Oh.
And if you're watching on TV, every commercial, 30 seconds, $8 million.
So it is capitalism on fire.
Back in a moment.

Name in town if you wish to opine.
Now let's go to the mail.
Larry Bergo,
Segal, Idaho.
Though your analysis of why the Democratic Party
has done a completely reversal
on immigration policy is spot on.
Their hatred if Donald Trump requires
they oppose him on everything.
The question for me is,
why do they hate him so?
Larry, we've been over this and over it and over it.
I'll do it one more time.
Okay.
Donald Trump despises the far left.
He doesn't like anything about it.
The far left controls the Democratic Party.
The regular Democrats that aren't loons, they don't like Trump's style, the bombastic style.
So you couple the radicals with the regulars, and Trump's got zero support.
and a lot of loathing inside the Democratic Party.
Anthony Limite, Bradented Florida.
Bill, I wanted to offer an opinion
about your YouTube analysis
comparing Minnesota and January 6th.
My belief is a state slowly started
to defy federal law
by testing the waters
in the legalization of marijuana situation.
Once the federal government did not intervene with that,
then the race was on.
It's pretty good, Anthony, I'll tell you.
So even to this day, trafficking and marijuana is against federal law, but not in many states.
Now, Trump is okayed that, so we don't have that tension.
But it probably did begin there.
It's a pretty good analysis.
In a moment, something you might not know.
With Amex Platinum, you have access to over 1,400 airport lounges worldwide.

That's the powerful backing of Amex.

Now the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know.
127 years ago today, the U.S. Senate ratified a peace treaty between the United States and Spain.
The resolution formally ended one of the most pointless conflicts in human history.
Here is the story behind the Spanish-American War.
The affair began with Cuba's struggle for independence.
Spain ruled the island and used violent measures to halt the rebellion.
Those were widely publicized in the United States press.
To protect citizens living there, Washington,
deployed three battleships to Cuba. In February 1898, a massive explosion sank the USS
Maine in Havana Harbor. 260 Americans on board were killed. A naval court ruled the ship was
accidentally blown up by an underwater mine. But most people didn't buy that. They blamed the
Spaniards. The public in America demanded a declaration of war.
On April 20th, 1898, President McKinley signed a joint congressional resolution authorizing the use of
military force to help Cuba gain independence. Spain severed all diplomatic relations,
both sides declared war. The 10-week conflict was fought in both the Caribbean and the Pacific.
Spain was completely dominated by the U.S. Navy. In total, Madrid lost 10,000 sailors compared to just
900 Americans. The war officially ended on February 6, 1899. Spain renounced all claims to Cuba,
seated Guam and Puerto Rico to the USA, transferred sovereignty of the Philippines to America
for $20 million. And here's something else you might not know. During the Spanish-American War,
the U.S. military ran low on soldiers to supplement the forces.
the Army raised a tough group of volunteers, cowboys, farmers, even a few outlaws.
The group earned the nickname the Rough Riders.
They were led into battle by a 40-year-old glory hunter from Manhattan.
His name, Theodore Roosevelt.

Yeah, hey, who should I take in the Boston game?
Well, statistically speaking.
Nah, no more statistically speaking.
I want hot takes.
I want knee-jerk reactions.
That's not really what I do.
Is that because you don't have any knees?
