Hey, it's Ryan Reynolds here for MintMobil.
Now, I was looking for fun ways to tell you that Mint's offer of unlimited premium wireless for $15 a month is back.
So I thought it would be fun if we made $15 bills.
But it turns out that's very illegal.
So there goes my big idea for the commercial.
Give it a try at mintmobile.com slash switch.
A upfront payment of $45 for three-month plan equivalent to $15 per month required.
New customer offer for first three months only.
Speed slow after 35 gigabytes of networks busy.
Taxes and fees extra.
See mintmobile.com.
Bill O'Reilly here. You are listening to the O'Reilly update.
Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill. It is Friday, January 24th, 2025.
Here's this happening today in America.
Border Update. Trump to Davos.
JFK files released in an NFL weekend.
It's all coming up.
Then Bill's going to be here with your message of the day.
But first, on the first full day of the Trump presidency,
encounters at the border dropped from a high.
high during the Biden presidency of 12,000 a day to less than 500.
Outside of San Diego, along the border, Border Patrol agents rescued an American hiker
after he was shot by suspected cartel terrorists.
Trump, of course, declared the cartels a terrorist organization the other day.
The chief of that border sector said the cartels think they can bring their war here.
Think again, Americans won't be intimidated.
Our agents and Bortak will confront these threats head on.
Bortak stands for Border Patrol Tactical Unit.
they're like the Navy SEALs of the Border Patrol.
And of course, more people being deported every day,
including a man from Haiti who flew to the U.S.
under Biden's migrant flight program.
He was charged with sexual assault.
And a man from Honduras,
he's been charged with raping a victim with a gun to her mouth.
The Biden administration knew where all these people were.
And in this case, Boston, the local authorities in Boston,
release them onto the streets without informing ice.
Now Trump's in charge.
Mexico has also built a massive tent city
on their side of the border getting ready for mass deportations.
Donald Trump spoke to the World Economic Forum on video because today he's visiting North
Carolina and California and he really stuck it to him.
Most notably, one of the people asking questions is the CEO of Bank of America and Trump
told him, I hope you start opening your bank to conservatives.
You got to open your bank to conservatives because what you're doing is wrong.
Bank of America has been accused of denying services to gun manufacturers, fossil fuel producers,
and contractors for ICE.
It's also been accused of canceling accounts of Christian ministry groups.
Hours after the meeting, Bank of America tweeted out,
We welcome conservatives, we would never close accounts for political reasons,
and we don't have a political litmus test.
Trump has signed an executive order calling for the declassification of all government documents
related to the assassination of JFK, RFK, and Martin Luther King Jr.
The executive order says that the government is 15 days to release all the JFK files and 45 for RFK and MLK.
Conference championships this Sunday in the NFL, Washington versus Philadelphia, this Sunday, 3 o'clock Eastern, followed by the Bills versus the Chiefs at 630.
The Chiefs have played in four of the last five Super Bowls, and they've won the last two.
No NFL team has ever won three Super Bowls in a row.
I'm Mike Slater from the podcast, Politics by Faith, Bill O'Reilly, with your message of the day.
Next.
Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On its Friday, Episcopal Bishop Marianne Buddy, now a bright star in the leftist movement.
On Tuesday, as you probably know, she gently scolded President Trump at the National Cathedral in D.C.
for lacking mercy when it comes to gender and migration.
Now, it's kind of virtue signaling is easy, but kind of insulting, if you look critically at it.
I've no doubt that Bishop Buddy firmly believes she's on the right side of God,
but she's a shallow thinker, and the Holy Spirit might have some problems with that.
Sorry for the theological references.
Hope the pagan movement isn't offended.
Anyway, quick examine.
of the bishop's past reveals her sympathy for the George Floyd looters and her justification of law-breaking
in the open border controversy. Apparently, the bishop does not see property protection
and immigration standards as merciful. She openly espouses no consequences for law breaking
in the name of a merciful God. Loss and the bishop's self-righteous haze are the
victims of anarchy. Thousands of innocent Americans were hurt in the George Floyd riots.
Millions have been or will be killed by the insane open border display as tons of narcotics
pour in here. So where is Bishop Buddy on that? Nowhere. Because the consequences of
anarchy do not fit into her virtue signaling resume. Do they, Bishop?
I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me. Bill at
Bill O'Reilly.com. Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com. Name in town if you wish to opine.
Let's go to the mail. Beth Patterson, Taylor'sville, North Carolina. O'Reilly, you
was smart on with your analysis. The pulpit should be not used as a political platform or a place
to bring your personal opinion on worldly issues. It's talking about the far left bishop
activists in D.C. who insulted Donald Trump.
Kristen Cesaris, La Viernia, Texas.
I voted for Trump three times, yet I don't want
the U.S. to spend a dime on investigating whether or not the Biden family took money.
We already know they did since Biden pardoned everyone except Jill.
Goodbye and good riddance to them.
So I disagree.
We have a disagreement here, Kristen, but it's a polite disagreement.
for history. We need to know if a sitting vice president or president took bribes.
Period. We need to know as a nation. Not personal. Historical.
Willie, the rioters who assaulted police officers should not have been pardoned. End of story.
And this is a divided thing. It's absolutely divided. There's no doubt about it.
A lot of ideology in this, unfortunately.
Tommy Ramazontz, Oak Forest, Illinois, Bill.
I'm not completely sure, but can you research the DOJ,
can it investigate a pardoned person on another crime,
but not the crime that has been adjudicated by the president?
However, Congress can.
They can.
Christine O'Connor, Scottsdale, Arizona, never heard anything President Trump about drones.
We're waiting.
He says he's going to give us the skinny.
Hope so.
We're waiting in a moment.

How Doers Get More Done.
Now the O'Reilly Update brings you something you might not know.
Ferocious wins continue in Southern California.
And they are fueling those wildfires, which have destroyed entire sections of Los Angeles, as you know.
In some places, fires continue to burn.
Here's some facts about what will likely be the most expensive natural disaster in U.S. history.
The initial fire erupted in the Pacific Palisades on January 7th.
That's a neighborhood near Malibu.
Soon, the blaze engulfed 20,000 acres of...
of arid land.
Hours later, a second inferno started in the national forests
north of downtown LA, another 15,000 acres incinerated.
As of this report, at least 27 people
have perished in the fires.
That number is expected to rise.
The biggest question, what started all the fires?
Some believe the disaster began with New Year's fireworks.
The embers smoldering for a week before spreading.
Others blame exposed power lines, a lack of land maintenance in the forests, or a possible lightning strike.
Still others sink the fires were started by arsonists or camping homeless people.
One culprit is clear, political incompetence.
At the time, numerous reservoirs were almost empty.
Hundreds of fire hydrants did not work because of lack of water pressure.
Also, fire trucks sat in depots because of L.A. budget cuts.
California Governor Gavin Newsom is blaming the outrage on, quote,
a campaign of misinformation.
L.A. Mayor Karen Bass told reporters she has absolutely no regrets
on traveling to Ghana before the disaster,
even though the fires were predicted.
According to estimates from J.P. Morgan,
the wildfires will likely cause more than $50 billion in damage.
And here's something else you might not know.
The road to recovery will be long.
I believe it will take five years to rebuild Los Angeles.
And the mission must be very advanced by 2008
when L.A. hosts the Summer Olympic Games.
