Bill O'Reilly here. You are listening to the O'Reilly update.
Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill. It is Monday, January 26th, 20206.
Here's what's happening today in America.
Winter storm, Minnesota fallout, Iran murders, and without a rope.
It's all coming up, then Bill's going to be here with your message of the day.
But first, this winter storm left over a million people without power.
Eight inches of snow in Arkansas, 11, and Illinois and Ohio, 13 inches in Indiana,
8 in Kansas, 12 in Missouri, 7 in Oklahoma, 6 in Texas, 5 in Tennessee, 12 in New Jersey, 11 in New York, 15 in Pennsylvania.
But it's the ice.
At least one inch of ice reported in parts of South Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana, ice storm warnings from Texas to Tennessee, Georgia, and the Carolinas.
In light of these shooting in Minneapolis this weekend, the president is calling on every Democratic governor and mayor in America to formally cooperate with the Trump administration to enforce our nation's laws rather than resist and stoke the flames of division.
chaos and violence. Among other suggestions, he said Governor Walls and Mayor Frey should turn over
all criminal illegal aliens that are currently incarcerated in their state prisons and jails to
federal authorities, along with all illegal criminals, with an active warrant or known criminal
history for immediate deportation. Sounds reasonable. He ended his post saying, in addition,
I'm here by calling on the Congress to immediately pass legislation to end sanctuary cities,
which is the root cause of all these problems. American cities should be sanctuaries for
law-abiding American citizens only, not illegal alien criminals who broke our nation's laws.
We've been reporting on the protests throughout Iran. There's been many protests in Iran recently,
but they always end in these brutal crackdowns, but maybe nothing like this. Reports are saying
that the leadership in Iran has killed as many as 36,000 of their own people, placing it among
one of the deadliest short-term mass killings documented in modern history. Our president said we're
watching Iran. We've had to have a lot of people. We've had to be able to be. We've had to be in the deadliest,
a lot of ships going that direction just in case.
We have a massive fleet headed in that direction, and maybe we won't have to use it.
We'll see.
According to the media outlet, Iran International, the Supreme Leader has been moved to a special
underground shelter fearing a U.S. attack.
The great Alex Honnold climbed Taipei 101, the skyscraper, without any ropes.
1,667 feet.
It was insane.
You have to watch it.
It was broadcast live on Netflix with a 10-second delay.
but the delay was not needed. He made it. And it didn't even look hard to him, even though my stomach
was in my ankles the entire time watching it. There were parts when he was just hanging with his arms
a thousand feet in the air and had to pull himself up multiple times with his wife watching
from the ground. The first person to climb this tower was a French guy back in 2004, but he did
it with a rope. And it took him four hours. It only took Alex 90 minutes. I'm Mike Slater from

Mike Slater, Philner for Bill O'Reilly. Now it's time for the O'Reilly update message of the day.
I'm going to wait for Bill tomorrow to comment on the shooting in Minneapolis this weekend,
but just some background points worth remembering. Deescalation emboldens rioters.
Ronald Reagan, when he was governor of California in 1969, there were riots at the University of Berkeley's campus.
Reagan called the National Guard to put down the riots. And it got ugly.
Bloody Sunday, it was called.
had punctured lungs.
Another had a shattered leg.
13 people hospitalized with shotgun wounds.
One person was shot and killed by police gunfire.
2,200 National Guard troops used to restore order with Reagan's orders,
used whatever methods you choose.
He was criticized, of course.
One press conference he was asked by the media why he didn't negotiate with the rioters.
He responded famously,
Negotiate.
What is there to negotiate?
All of this began.
the first time some of you who know better and are old enough to know better,
that young people think they have the right to choose the laws they would obey
as long as they were doing it in the name of social protest.
Now, I bring this up here because do you know why the rioters were rioting on Berkeley's campus in 1969?
It's because there was an empty plot of land on the campus.
The administration wanted to build a soccer field.
The hippies at Berkeley wanted a community.
Garden.
That's what that was all about.
Meaning, leftists
will find anything
to riot about.
This rioting in Minneapolis today
is about protecting Somalians
who want to commit
billions of dollars worth of fraud
and a president who would like to stop that.
Progressives say, no, we must protect the Somalis
because there are babies.
If you watch that video of the shooting,
if you notice the building in the background,
you look at this building and it looks like a Somali fraud operation.
Sure enough, the building right next,
one right behind where the guy got shot and killed by ice,
the building has a sign that says,
Smart Therapy Center.
Turns out Smart Therapy Center had their license revoked in October for Medicaid fraud,
led by Asha Farhan Hassan,
$14 million in Medicaid.
fraud through Minnesota's early intensive developmental and behavioral intervention program.
The Somali woman behind this operation, this is the autism scandal.
Do you remember this from a couple weeks ago when this was announced?
It was the big autism scandal.
She would give kickbacks to Somali families for bringing their children in and pretending
they have autism.
And the center would get a bunch of money and they'd give kickbacks to the Somalis who were
a part of the fraud.
She's facing prison of seven years.
I'll leave it to Nick Shirley to figure out how many other businesses are in that same
building committing fraud as well.
But I bring this up because you cannot show a random video of anywhere in downtown Minneapolis
without the background probably being a Somali fraud operation.
Do not forget what this is about.
Ice in Minnesota, in freezing cold, negative 20 degree Minnesota,
has arrested an illegal alien who committed first degree murder,
any legal alien who committed second degree murder.
illegal aliens who have abused children, domestic violence, beat women, DUIs, assaults,
burglaries, stolen cars, all the hits.
And now all those illegals are gone now.
Do you want them to be here?
These leftists do.
Are you going to let them win?
I'm Mike Slater, something you might not know.
Next.
Mike Slater, Filner for Bill O'Reilly.
something you might not know. Do you remember Chaz? Does that ring a bell? This was in Seattle,
2020. Chaz stands for the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone. For about a month, activists took over this
area of Seattle, and it very quickly devolved into Somalia, basically. Eight people were shot in
four separate shootings. They were all Chaz people, right? These are all people in the freedom zone.
The fourth person shot was a, well, 16-year-old was killed. And a 14-year-old was killed.
and a 14-year-old was in critical condition.
The leader of the Chaz, Autonomous Zone,
was this black guy sex trafficking pimp,
Raz Simone,
and he became the de facto leader
because he had the biggest guns, obviously.
In just a few days,
these city blocks of a city in America
turned into Mogadishu,
the gang leader with the most guns took over.
That was Seattle in 2020.
But check this out now, in Minneapolis.
similar thing going on.
All the homeless and activists and Antifa and communist created a similar occupied autonomous zone.
And how did they set out the boundaries?
With a wall.
They lined up dumpsters and plywood and whatever else they could find.
And they made a wall.
Isn't it amazing that the first instinct when they create these zones is to build a wall?
And not only that, after they built the wall,
they have checkpoints where you can properly enter the zone and you have to show identification.
You have to, not to vote in America that's racist, but to get inside the zone, you have to show identification
and you have to provide other details to show that you have solidarity with the residents of this
zone and that you will assimilate culturally to the zone's residents and that you will follow
the rules of the zone. Otherwise, you're kicked out.
The lawless zone has border walls and ID checkpoints to keep their people safe.
Let that sink in.
There is no chaos in Memphis or anywhere where local law enforcement is cooperating with ICE.
ICE picks up illegals at the jails.
Police tell ICE where the child molesters live and it's over.
This is only in Minneapolis.
The point of this is to get you to lose resolve, to get you to forget why we voted for this in the first place.
You think they care about kids?
They don't care about kids.
They didn't care about the over 500,000 unaccompanied minors that came under.
Biden. They didn't shed a tear or for any American who was killed by any legal alien.
And if they win in Minnesota, they're going to do the same thing in every other city.
If we let them win, they'll turn this whole country into a chas.
