Bill O'Reilly here Friday. January 28th, 2022. You are listening to the O'Reilly update. Here's what's happening
this week in America. Amicron subsides in some parts of the USA. The White House urges Americans to leave
Ukraine. Hate crimes in San Francisco. Jump. Israelis revealing the European countries they find
most anti-Semitic. Also coming up, my message of the day, listeners sound off, but first,
cases of COVID down about 20% in previous hotspots like New York City and Florida.
Hospitalizations down 10%. Worst places right now, Oklahoma, Texas, Midwest. The CDC recommending
everyone receive booster shots five months after you get your second dose. Less than 40% of adults
have received the booster. The COVID death count now approaching 900,000 Americans. The Biden administration
urging all U.S. citizens to leave Ukraine. Secretary of State Blinken announcing the recommendation
saying, quote, our message for any American is to strongly consider leaving using commercial
or other privately available transportation options, unquote. More than 100,000 Russian troops are
massed along the country's border with Ukraine, as you know.
Hate crimes targeting Asians in San Francisco up 570 percent.
Police confirming 60 separate attacks on Asians last year in the city by the Bay compared
to just nine in the previous year.
Mayor at London Breed promising to increase arrests, a poll from Pew says 80 percent of Asians
in California feel unsafe. Other crimes in the city by the bay up double digits include robberies,
carjackings, murder, and assault as law and order collapses in that troubled city.
A new survey from Hebrew University in Jerusalem says the European countries Israelis consider
the most anti-Semitic are these. 39% of Israelis feel France.
France is the worst place in Europe for Jews, followed by Poland at 33%, Germany at 15%.
Most friendly nation, the U.K. More than a half of Jewish respondents viewed anti-Semitism in Europe as something that will continue to get worse.
In a moment, listeners have their say. The O'Reilly Update will be right back.
Let's face it, the US economy is under stress.
National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets.

Let's go to Ralph in Lincoln, Nebraska.
My vote is for Condoleezza Rice for the Supreme Court as a replacement for Stephen Breyer.
Former Secretary of Sade Rice is a brilliant woman.
That is a good choice, Ralph.
It will never happen.
President Biden is a prisoner to the progressive movement.
Yes, he will nominate an African-American woman.
nothing wrong with that, but it will be an ardent liberal.
And she, I believe, will get confirmed.
I think that will happen.
Carter in Edmund, Oklahoma.
O'Reilly, you reported that the USA has allocated $101 million to combat far-right terrorism.
How much has been allocated to combat far-left terrorism?
Nothing, Carter, as far as I can see, I mean, the Justice Department has a budget, and if a far-left terrorist blew up a building, the FBI would certainly investigate, but there isn't any special fund to investigate Antifa and the other far-left terrorists.
That's because the Biden administration wants you, Carter, and all Americans to think that far-right people,
groups like the proud boys, the oath keepers, are a severe threat to the country.
Well, they may be, but I haven't seen any evidence of that.
Those groups are confrontational.
They are far right.
There's no doubt about it.
But are they Antifa?
Are they burning down Portland, Oregon?
No.
So the hypocrisy here is clear for.
anyone to see who wants to look. William Davidson, Northville, Michigan. O'Reilly, please explain
in simple economic terms how states such as Florida, Tennessee, and Texas can get by without state
taxes because they keep their budgets low. So here in New York, where I live, they spend more than
$20,000 a student a year in public schools.
that number is half in Florida and Texas. And welfare, entitlements, again, half. So the governments
in the red states are minimal in the kind of money they throw out for quote-unquote social justice.
They keep the budgets down. That's how they do it. William in Rochester, New York, if Russians enter
Ukraine illegally, why can't immigration officials there issue Russians an appearance ticket to go before
a court and adjudicate the illegal entry? The Russians can then be released safely inside Ukraine.
The system works great here. William being very sarcastic, comparing the absolute flood of illegal
aliens on the southern border to the Russian army poised in Ukraine. Good letter, William. You're a thinker.
That is the message. I'm Bill O'Reilly, and I approved it. If you'd like more honest news analysis,
