Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thanks, Bill.
Here's what's happening this week in America.
mission accomplished Republican convention inflation is up and stolen toys that's all coming up
then Bill's going to be here with your message of the day Biden had his big boy press conference
at the NATO summit yesterday and it seems like consensus is it was just good enough
sure he introduced President Zelensky as President Putin sure he said that he's a big supporter
of Vice President Trump yes he said he's following the advice from his commander in chief
he's the commander in chief.
But it was still good enough
that it looks like he will live another day
as the nominee.
We also learned the other day
that the White House gave questions
to a Philadelphia radio host
for a Biden interview
and she was fired.
The one casualty of this entire fiasco
is the black female radio host getting fired.
No one cares about her.
But now in Milwaukee progressive radio station
admits to editing out
two parts of a recent interview
that they did with Biden
at the request of
the White House. Meanwhile, the Republicans have their great show of unity coming up in Milwaukee,
starting on Monday through Thursday. Wednesday night is when the vice presidential nominee
will be speaking. Don Jr. will introduce him or her. And then Trump will speak on Thursday
night introduced by UFC President Dana White, who has been close friends with Trump for a long time.
We know Ron DeSantis will speak. Amber Rose, for some reason, will be speaking.
Larry Trump told me the other day that there will be fewer elected officials and more regular
people telling their stories throughout the week. We have some economic numbers that just came
out. Wholesale price inflation went up in June to its highest rate since March of
2023. The producer price index, it's a measurement of average price changes seen by producers
and manufacturers, was 2.6% for the first 12 months that ended in June. That is rising from the
2.4% annual rate seen in May. Maybe inflation is the excuse that these thieves can give.
Police in Oregon have recovered 4,000 stolen Lego sets, valued at over $200,000.
This is a three-month-long investigation. Police arrested the owner of a store called brickbuilders
for knowingly purchasing new and unopened Lego sets that were stolen from local stores.
Thieves then used the money to buy drugs. Lego is by far the largest toy company in the world,
about the size of Hasbro and Mattel combined.
I'm Mike Slater, Bill O'Reilly with your message of the day.
Next.
Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress.
National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets.
And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
Let's do a little week in review.
George Clooney has had an epiphany, apparently.
The 63-year-old leftist actor is one of the most reliable liberals in Hollywood.
he has never seen a big government program he doesn't like
and is very active in fundraising and donating to liberal causes,
as he did a few weeks ago in Hollywood.
Clooney's party brought in $28 million for Joe Biden's campaign,
but that was then.
Now, George does not believe that money was well spent.
Refunds?
He writes in the New York Times that the president is too old
feeble to beat Donald Trump. Thus, Joe should withdraw from the race. So how did this happen?
Well, Clooney does not do much political writing. Did he suddenly pen an essay and send it off to the New York
Times? No. More likely, the newspaper solicited him, because at times has editorialized twice
that Joe Biden must leave the race.
Chesaire George checked with close friend Barack Obama
before he agreed to pull a Brutus on President Biden.
And that has been reported now after I reported it.
Obama, as you may remember,
headline Clooney's recent fundraiser,
but now apparently believes Biden's going to lose at Trump.
Former president was last seen gently leading,
the current president off stage to a safe space. So there you have it. George Clooney,
Barack Obama. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me.

Okay, let's get to the mail. We got Eric. Thank you, Bill, for letting me know that it's hot.
I'm getting on in years
and I thought I was becoming presidential
in my old age
but it's only the heat that is slowing me down
that's maybe a combination

if Barack Obama's most important person
in Democratic Party then why
do we have such a mess in the USA
with open borders? Because Obama
did not dictate policy
I know the right wingers are saying that he
did, but that's not true. It's not true. Barack Obama did not dictate policy to Joe Biden.
What Obama does is the big picture stuff, okay? And he's the most powerful person.
Jerry Moody, Frisco, Texas, reason many Democrats feel President Biden's the best president
in a lifetime is because he has made great strides in the left's agenda, reducing energy,
billions of climate change, government dependency, buying votes, et cetera. That's true.
Fall left loves him. They wouldn't care if he was dead. It would be, you know, weekend at the White
House with Joey. And that's true. All the far left wants his control over policy. And they
made great strides, unfortunately. Melissa Cortay, Covington, Louisiana. My father suffered with
Alzheimer's and was a deacon in the Catholic Church. When he started to clock, he started to
decline i didn't hesitate and i got him out of the public arena without humiliation i love my dad
that much okay and you did the right thing i did that to my mother i had to take the car keys away
and the bank book away and i and i hated doing it but i had to that's true love in a moment something

Now the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know.
If you are taking a trip this summer, here are some popular destinations for 2024,
ranked by U.S. News and World Report.
In the USA, the top five starts with the Grand Canyon, followed by San Diego, Yellowstone
National Park, and Honolulu.
The number one destination in the USA, Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
The peninsula is home to beautiful beaches, but also there are a number of great white sharks swimming around.
The predators are often seen just a few yards from oblivious tourists.
That is not good.
There have already been this year 150 sightings of great whites near Cape Cod.
Overseas Americans are heading to the U.K.
in Ireland. Folks looking for tropical climates are jetting to the Dominican Republic, Brazil, and
Mexico. But if you go south of the border, beware. Cartel violence now rampant, and tourists
are not protected, generally speaking. The number one destination for international travel this
summer is Paris, France. The French capital is hosting the Summer Olympics in July and August.
In total, the City of Light will be a temporary home to 15,000 athletes, 20,000 journalists,
50,000 volunteers, and 15 million visitors from every country on earth.
With war raging in Ukraine and the Middle East, French authorities are worried about terrorism.
In early March, the attendance capacity for the opening Olympic ceremony in Paris was cut in half.
President Macron announced last week that his government has an alternative plan, should
intelligence agencies suggest a terror attack is imminent.
And here's something else you might not know.
The most popular destination for Americans this summer is staying at home.
Half of adults say they plan to enjoy local parks, beaches, and sports less than an hour from
their house. Stacations, I hate that word, but it is popular. Back after this.
