Bill O'Reilly here. You are listening to the weekend edition of the O'Reilly Update.
Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thanks, Bill. Here's what's happening this week in America.
Trump health diagnosis, Mexico suing, England lowers the age, and Colbert is axed.
It's all coming up, then Bill's going to be here with your message today.
But first, the White House has announced that the president has been diagnosed
with chronic venous insufficiency.
This is from the White House.
They showed a letter from Trump's doctor, which said Trump was examined after he
noticed mild swelling in his legs.
Trump's doctor said that this is benign and common, particularly among adults
over the age of 70.
Chronic venous insufficiency is a circulatory condition
where the veins in the leg have difficulty returning blood
back to the heart due to damaged valves.
This can cause the blood to pool in the legs
and lead to swelling.
It's fairly common, affecting up to 40%
of the US population, but that could even be a low estimate
because CBI isn't easily detected on routine tests.
Trump is 79 years old.
The president of Mexico said they are considering legal action against ICE after a farmer fell
to his death during an immigration raid at a marijuana farm north of LA.
The man was Mexican.
For some reason, he climbed to the top of a 30-foot building and fell off it as he was
trying to escape from federal agents but DHS said
they were never chasing the guy. They said this man was not and has not been in CBP or ICE custody.
He was not being pursued by law enforcement but climbed to the top of a greenhouse and fell 30 feet.
Border Patrol immediately called the medevac. In other border news congresswoman the Republican
congresswoman from south of Miami, Congresswoman Salazar,
has proposed the Dignity Act,
which she says is not amnesty,
but it does indeed give illegal aliens
a pathway to citizenship,
to the point where if it were the law today,
even Kilmar Abrego Garcia could come back to America
and one day become a US citizen.
England is going to lower the country's voting age to 16.
The voting age was lowered from 21 to 18 back in 1968.
The lowering of the age
was part of the Labour Party's platform.
Their argument was this would bring greater fairness
to 16 and 17 year olds who are eligible to work
and serve in the military.
It's also because kids are more likely
to be little communists
and vote for far left politicians, obviously.
CBS is getting rid of The Late Show, which has been on CBS since 1993 with David Letterman.
Colbert is the current host. It will end in May.
The president of CBS said this is purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in Late Night.
It is not related in any way to the show's performance,
content or other matters happening at Paramount.
That's a nice thing to say, I guess,
but it certainly has to do
with all of those other things as well.
Colbert has been the host of The Late Show
for the last 10 years.
I'm Mike Slater from Politics by Faith Bill O'Reilly.
Here's your message of the day, next.
Hey, Mike Baker here, message of the day. Next. Every weekend we go longer with the PDB Situation Report with excellent guests including national security insiders and foreign policy experts.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update message of the day.
Here's an interesting question.
Which ideology has more fanatical loons, left or right? There's no polling
data on it because most people won't admit they hold extreme views. The bubbles they
live in prevent rational assessment.
Anyway, I think there are more far-left folks in America than far-right.
I could be wrong, but with many enormous cities controlled by ardent leftists, the demographics
are on my side.
Both political extremes are very vocal, and nutty messages are easily carried on social
media.
The fanatical Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is
one of the most famous liberal politicians in the USA. The equally fervent Marjorie Taylor
Greene is working towards that status on the conservative side. It was fascinating to see Ms. Green try to block President Trump's arms deal with NATO.
Why, Marge?
Why do you want to help the psychopathic Putin?
Green's congressional colleagues shut her down, but come on.
The far-right Senator Barry Goldwater believed that extremism in defense of liberty is no vice.
But here's my retort.
You can defend liberty without being an ideological loon.
Just ask George Washington.
I'm Bill O'Reilly.
I approve the message by writing it.
You can reach me, bill at billoereilly.com, Bill at BillOReilly.com, name and town if you
wish to opine. Now let's go to the mail.
We got John on the message board. You know, if you're a premium or concierge, remember
you get to go on a message board and talk to other premium concierge. Remember, it's
a lot of fun. And you learn stuff. John says, this is a 75-year-old third generation California who lives in a Bay Area.
I'm embarrassed that I'm from here.
Quality of life used to be great, but now it isn't.
The only good thing is the weather after liberal loons took over and made it a one-party state.
That I understand what you're saying, but the liberal loons didn't make it a one-party
state.
The voters did.
They're responsible.
Michael, concierge member, thank you Michael, people of California who want to leave can't.
They own a home, they can't abandon it, lose the equity.
Where can they find someone crazy enough to buy their property?
You can sell your home in California.
Now I don't know, each real estate district is different, but you can move the house.
You want to get out, there are hundreds of thousands of people getting out.
Larry, concierge, remember, President Trump being played by Putin seems to be a fair description
to me.
Okay.
Janet, if sanctioning the banks in Russia was a favorable thing to do, President Trump would
have done it already.
He knows when the time is right.
So we have the people that will, you know, whatever President Trump does is fine, and
the people, you know, it isn't fine.
And that's the way it should be. That's the way it should
be. Lorraine. I've read on different platforms about the federal government collected $70
billion in tax revenue this June because of new tariffs. $27 billion. That you want, but
I'm glad you wrote Lorraine to me. You want the number, we'll give you the number. Not 70, 27. A lot of money.
In a moment, something you might not know. Hey, it's Sean Spicer from the Sean Spicer Show
podcast, reminding you to tune into my show every day to get your daily dose inside the world of
politics. President Trump and his team are shaking up Washington like never before, and we're here
to cover it from all sides, especially on the topics the mainstream media won't.
So if you're a political junkie on a late lunch or getting ready for the drive home,
new episodes of The Sean Spicer Show podcast drop at 2 p.m. East Coast every day.
Make sure you tune in.

Now the O'Reilly Update brings you something you might not know.
26 years ago, one of the most charismatic men in America died after his plane crashed
into the Atlantic Ocean.
His death solidified what many call the Kennedy curse.
Here is the story of JFK Jr.
The young Kennedy was born November 25, 1960, just a few weeks after his dad was elected
president.
On his third birthday, the boy attended the funeral of his assassinated father.
John remained in the spotlight for the remainder of his life.
Famous for his good looks and adventurous spirit, he was frequently seen skiing, surfing,
or piloting his own aircraft. On the evening of July 16, 1999, John, his wife Carolyn, and her
sister, took off in a small plane from an airfield in New Jersey.
The journey to Martha's Vineyard was less than 200 miles.
JFK Jr. and his passengers never arrived.
On July 21st, Navy divers recovered three bodies.
The wreckage was discovered under 100 feet of water just 8 miles off the coast of Massachusetts.
A private memorial was held in New York City two days later.
Attendees included President Clinton, 10 sitting U.S. Senators, and Mohammed Ali.
In its final report, the National Transportation Safety Board concluded the crash was caused by an inexperienced pilot,
JFK Jr., who became disoriented in the dark and simply lost control of the plane flying
it right into the ocean.
And here's something else you might not know.
JFK's demise was another tragedy to befall his troubled family.
Since 1944, at least 22 members of the Kennedy clan have suffered premature death.
The grim list includes two by assassination, five air crashes, six drug overdoses, multiple suicides, and five automobile accidents.
Said Senator Ted Kennedy before dying from brain cancer in 2009, quote, I often wonder
if some terrible curse does hang over the Kennedy family back after this. worlds of politics, business, pop culture, and everything in between. It's what you want from the New York Post
wrapped up in one snappy show.
