Bill O'Reilly here Thursday, July 25th, 2019.
You are listening to the O'Reilly Update here is what is happening across our nation.
Robert Mueller getting bad reviews for his congressional testimony.
Record number of Americans say immigration, the biggest problem facing the nation.
Puerto Rico's governor resigns after days of protests.
An unbelievable, 88% of Americans eat.
while staring at a screen. The term fat cat takes on a whole new meaning. Also coming up,
my message of the day on the Mueller debacle. But first, the former special counsel had a very
hard time answering hours of questions regarding his two-year probe into Russian election
meddling. President Trump calling the hearings, quote, horrible, saying Mueller simply had nothing to work
with. More on that in my message of the day upcoming. A large number of Americans believe immigration
is the most important problem facing the nation. According to Gallup, 27% cite that countries
failing immigration system as the biggest problem heading into the 2020 election. That figure was
just 6% in 2018 last year. Next on the list of biggest concerns, poor leadership, race relations,
health care, and the environment. Puerto Rican governor, Ricardo Rosello, resigning after days of protests.
The governor will officially step down August 2nd in response to a growing public outcry regarding
corruption, his handling of hurricane relief efforts, and misuse of public resources.
Ricello is the first governor of Puerto Rico to resign from office.
They call them zombie eaters, a new study showing a whopping 88.
percent of us routinely dine while staring at screens. 91% watched television while eating at least
one meal. 49% on a regular basis. 83% of those ass say they have had meals go cold because of the
distracting machines. The biggest culprit, emails and social media. The term fat cat,
taking on an entirely different meaning. According to researchers, the obesity,
problem is transferring to pets. Scientists say the average cat is more than a half pound
heavier than two decades ago. That might not sound like a lot, but the average feline weighs just
seven pounds. In human terms, that's an extra 18 pounds on the body. Coming up, why was Robert
Mueller so befuddled in his congressional testimony? Right back with it. Bill O'Reilly here,
if you are age 75 or older, and if you own $100,000 life insurance policy or larger,
I want you to get a pen and write down this information.
Many Americans are making the decision to convert their life insurance policy into cash,
giving them some extra money to pay off credit cards, medical bills, any number of things.
Look, the economy's been a struggle for many.
Some people need cash.
There's nothing wrong with that.
You can get that money if you're over 75, and if you have a $100,000 or larger,
life insurance policy. So write this number down. 844, We Buy 75. Totally free to call it. Get rid of
those insurance premiums. Stop paying them. Consider turning the policy into cash. The number again,
844-4-4-We-B-U-Y-75. 8-44-4-We-B-U-Y-75. 8-44-4-We- Buy-75. Call now, brought to you by our sponsor,
guide partners. Time now for the O'Reilly Update message of the day, Robert Mueller testifying
in front of two House committees and the nation. It did not go well. Robert Mueller is a patriot,
former Vietnam combat hero, FBI director, honest man, and a person who has devoted his life
to his country. Robert Mueller could have made a lot more money in the private sector, but he chose
to fight crime with the FBI and do things that were helpful to America. As you know,
Mueller was appointed special counsel to find out the extent of Russia's intrusion into the 2016
election. He did find out some of that, but the investigation quickly became political. With Trump supporters
and some conservatives saying Mueller was out to get the president while liberals were cheering
Mueller on, wanting enough information to impeach the president. Well, in the end, Robert Mueller
issued a nearly 500-page report and spent about 30 million taxpayer dollars. But here's what he did
not do. He did not investigate, according to his own testimony, the initial Russian intrusion.
into the U.S. election, and that is the so-called dossier, which came out of Russia and accused
Donald Trump of doing heinous things. When asked about it yesterday in Washington, Mueller said
it was, quote, beyond his purview. That's insane. The initial Russian situation came about
because Russian agents were trying to undermine Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, and they did it in a variety of ways.
Mueller investigated Trump, but apparently did not investigate why the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee funded the dossier that turned up phony data on Donald Trump.
It's incredible, and fair-minded Americans know this investigation was not done in a fair way.
Now, reaction from the media is always dicey because the U.S. media is not really an honest enterprise anymore, but I'll quote a few.
Chris Wallace on Fox said, I think this has been a disaster for the Democrats, and I think it's been a disaster for the reputation of Robert Mueller.
He has seemed very uncertain with his brief. He doesn't seem to know things that are in the report.
CNN guy and former Obama advisor, David Axelrod, quote,
this is delicate to say, but Mueller, whom I deeply respect, has not publicly testified before Congress
in at least six years, and he does not appear as sharp as he was then.
Dan Rather, who has become a left-wing zealot, quote, this exchange between shift
and Mueller, just the facts, are a damning indictment that these facts are known should not minimize
how serious they are. The press now is another chance to frame the story correctly, unquote,
rather saying Donald Trump should be impeached. And on and on and on. Bottom line, Robert Mueller
seemed befuddled, and the nation will now walk away from the entire Russian collusion situation.
That's a message for more fact-based honest analysis.

update brings you something you might not know. This summer millions of Americans will visit live
music venues across the country. More than 52% of us will attend concerts, shelling out more than
$250 per person on average. Most popular shows, rock, pop, country, sorry jazz fans, that's the
least popular category in the USA. With album sales at an all-time low and streaming services
dominating the business, musicians now have to tour to make money. Here are the hottest tickets
of 2019 so far. Biggest? Lady Gaga. Average ticket price, $250. If you think that's shocking,
resale prices can reach 7,000. Gaga indeed. Pink, another popular show, average ticket price,
$150 bucks. Her beautiful trauma tour is one of 2019's top grossing at $82 million right now.
Justin Timberlake big draw this year. Selling more than a half million tickets at $130
bucks of pop. That's more than $65 million for a single tour for old Justin. While pop music is
all a rage for those under 30, most Americans love the classics. The Rolling Stones, still touring
the USA after 57 years. Average ticket price, upwards of 200 bucks. Front row, 6,000. Here's a
another shocking number. Mc Jagger, he's 75 years old. Fleetwood Mac, Billy Joel, Paul McCartney,
all big draws this year. Average ticket prices running about $100 or more. Fleetwood Mac,
very popular. After 52 years in the business, the band did nearly $70 million in ticket sales so far
this year. Great show, I can attest. But here's something you might not know. According to Nielsen
music, the biggest factor on whether Americans decide to attend a concert, parking and traffic.
We've definitely come a long way since the early days of rock music. When the Rolling Stones
crossed the pond in 1964 for their first American tour, they played two shows at New York
City's historic Carnegie Hall. The price for admission, $3.50. And the stones were happy to get it.
back after this. My friend Glenn Beck launched real estate agents I trust.com for a very simple reason
to help you sell your home for top dollar as quickly as possible. His team quickly realized
there are three keys to success. One, selling or buying a home is very complicated process and
difficult to navigate. So choose agents with a long track record of success. No part-time or
in-experience agents in their network.
Two, market value for your home cannot be calculated using computer models.
It takes years of expertise to evaluate your market and to price your home to sell quickly
for top dollar.
Beck's agents are experts in your neighborhood.
And three, home sellers most genuinely like the agent, they choose to trust their home
too.
That's why we select agents who are fans like you.
They do business like you, and they share your.
