Donald Trump once again, under formal investigation, most adults fear for their safety. A new poll shows Pete Buttigieg beating Joe Biden. A majority blamed the federal government for the louisps. recession. Also ahead, it is getting worse at the southern border. But first, according to the Washington Post, Donald Trump is being investigated by the Department of Justice for something

pertaining to the January 6th riot. Now, you would think that the Washington Post, which botched the Russian collusion fiasco, would be a little skeptical here. And the other media would be a little skeptical. But no, today on the CBS morning radio news, they're all over Trump, and I haven't seen any evidence at all that would lead to a criminal conviction. However, if there is evidence that surfaces, I will report it honestly. researchers at one poll say 52% of the American public now fear for its safety that figure rises to 75% for those between the ages at 25 and 34 daily anxiety caused by rising crime of course and increased violence on public transportation court of adults plan on relocating to improve

their security situation one in 10 now use anti-anxiety medication to get get through the day. Wow. Polling from the University of New Hampshire shows Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, who has done absolutely nothing, narrowly beating Joe Biden in the Granite State. 70% of Democrats there back Buda Judge, followed by 16% of prefer Biden. Elizabeth Warren and Gavin Newsom are tied in third place at 10% each. according to the real clear average, President Biden's approval rating now at his lowest point 35%. Survey from Monmouth University in New Jersey finds six and ten voters believe the federal government is directly responsible for the poor economy, which it is. Less than a quarter

Time now for the O'Reilly Update message of the day, the southern border continues to present a danger to us all. The term the Border Patrol uses is gotaways. They are illegal immigrants who have been spotted crossing the border by agents or on camera, but were not caught. More than 500,000, a half million known gotaway immigrants have crossed the border into the USA this fiscal year so far.

Remember, the federal government's fiscal year begins in October. So we have two more months. The average number of gotaway migrants this year, 55,000 a month. That figure doesn't include the 250,000 border encounters reported by the Department of Homeland Security in June, a record for that month. In total, about 300,000 illegal migrants cross into the USA every 30 days. Let's compare the border crossings today under President Biden to those under President Trump. Total border crossings during Trump's final year, 2020, $450,000 for the entire fiscal year.

Total border crossings, illegal crossings, during Biden's first year, 2021, $1.7 million, and that figure is already at 1.8 million this year with three months to count. So what the deuce is President Biden doing? The answer is nothing. Border security has collapsed and terrorists are coming into the USA. Homeland Security admits about 40 people on the terror watch list have been detained at the southern border. That's frightening, because you know that many others have gotten in here. Now, the Biden border policy is simply irresponsible. It is his job to protect this country, to protect you and me.

He is not doing his job, and there is no doubt about it, the statistics prove it. I can't read Biden's mind. I don't know why he's so incompetent and why he does not care about border security. He has not even gone down to the border. He put Vice President Harris in charge of that and she won't go down either. So again, what the deuce is going on? You would think that all the American media would be clamoring for answers to this dangerous situation.

But they are not because they continue to favor the Democratic Party and Joe Biden. So they cover up, ignore, and misreport important stories. That is the sad truth in America today. His career spanned five decades, touched every aspect of the entertainment industry. From Broadway to Saigon, here is the story of Bob Hope. Born Leslie Towns Hope on May 29th, 1903 in London, England. His family soon moved to Cleveland. Ohio. As a young man, Leslie began his career as a dancer. In the 1930s, he appeared on Broadway. By 1938, the performer now known as Bob starred in his own radio show and first feature film. Hope became a household name in 1940, appearing alongside Bing Crosby and the hit movie Road to Singapore. Together, the duo appeared in seven sequels. During World War II,

Bob Hope began entertaining American troops at military bases around the world. By 1953, Hope had done shows for more than one million American soldiers. Seventy million people watched them perform for troops in Vietnam on Christmas Eve, 1966. Here is a clip. You know, I appreciate all those words much, but I've got to tell you, and I speak for all these people, there's a lot of other nuts up on this stage. I don't mean you're general. I mean it. I mean all these people here who have volunteered to come over here.

I'm very, very proud of them. They're all great Americans. What about that, huh? Now, throughout his life, Bob Hope celebrated 48 Christmases with Americans deployed overseas. In 1997, Congress recognized his efforts by naming him the first honorary veteran in U.S. history. Hope called it the greatest honor of his life. In total, a man known as Mr. entertainment appeared in 50 movies, dozens of television specials, and hosted the Oscars 18 times.

Bob Hope died on July 27, 2003, less than two months after his 100th birthday. And here's something else you might not know. Today, fans can celebrate Hope's career in Los Angeles.
