Thank you, Bill. It is Thursday. July 30th, 2026. Here's what's happening today in America. Fifth Amendment Fauci. Saudi Arabia joins in. The Fed makes their decision and a lifeguard honored. It's all coming up.

First, Fifth Amendment Fauci did nothing but plead the fifth to every single question that was sent his way by the senators on the Homeland Security Committee, including a question from the chairman Rand Paul when he asked, is there a folder on the table in front of you? Now, the real question is what's next after this three-hour hearing? Because Biden, on his way out the door, gave Fauci a pardon. Now, Rand Paul may note that Fauci could have told the truth and had a full pardon.

protected, but he chose the fifth instead. Next week, Paul said the committee will vote on contempt of Congress or not, and we will proceed from there. Jordan's official news agency said the country's air defenses shot down five missiles, fired from Iran. Trump said, we'll be hitting Iran hard. They're going to get a beating. A drone also hit a U.S.-owned gas storage tanker and a port in Egypt.

Saudi Arabia has joined the American effort, engaging in precision. strikes inside Iraq, targeting Iran-backed proxy groups. Sentcom said U.S. and Saudi fighter aircraft struck multiple terrorist logistics and weapon sites across eastern Iraq and a strong response to over 30. IRGC directed aerial drone attacks in the last 72 hours. Make note of the fact that that was a joint attack with Saudi Arabia, who maybe has had enough of Iran's actions, even when Saudi Arabia has about 15% of their population who are Shia Muslims. The Federal Reserve decided to hold interest rates steady.

Nine members voted in favor of maintaining the interest rates. Three members supported a quarter point rate hike. Price of oil is still in the mid-80 range. Fed Chairman Kevin Warsh, who took over in May, says the goal is still to get inflation to 2%. We're just above 3% right now. Their next meeting is in September. A 16-year-old lifeguard in Santa Cruz, California, rescued a 10-year-old boy who was swept out in these waves. There's video of this rescue. You have to watch it. It's unbelievable. The waves keep coming huge waves as he's trying the best he can to hold on to this boy and keep his head above water. Other men tried to help. The waves were insane. Eventually another lifeguard came and they were able to pull this child to safety to the applause of the beachgoers. The lifeguard has been invited to the White House to be properly honored.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day. On this Thursday, I'm thinking about the White House correspondence dinner. I know it was last week, but the entire event was a setup. I attended to gathering in April when a craze gunman tried to enter the ballroom. Shortly after that, President Trump vowed to do the dinner again.

Well, last Friday, the gala went forward. with a much smaller crowd. They were generally, surly, the journalists in the room. It was dominated by CNN and the left-leaning networks that despised Donald Trump. So here's the con. The president had to know he would never get a single laugh from this crowd. They were not there to have a good time.

There was no sense of camaraderie whatsoever. The vibe was, we hate you. Not everybody, but the majority. But here comes the hammer. The White House Correspondents Association then doled out awards, designed to embarrass the president of the United States. That is called the fix is in. And it was calculated.

The Wall Street Journal people ran up there. and Trump is suing that newspaper. Kathlund Collins from CNN ran up there. And obviously we all know that Ms. Collins and the president are not friendly. at a disadvantage, and the speech itself did little to offset that impression. It struck me as overly long, not especially funny, and the pointed remark directed at journalist Caitlin Collins appeared undignified. My husband and I found those passages particularly uncomfortable to watch. I argue with that. I mean, look, I don't know why the president bothers with Caitlin Collins, as I said yesterday. But the whole setup thing was wrong.

Fifty-one years ago today, one of the most infamous men in America simply vanished. His disappearance remains a mystery today. Here's the story of Jimmy Hoffa. Born in 1913 to a family of coal miners, young Jimmy began his career organizing worker strikes in Detroit. He became president of the powerful Teamsters Union in 1957.

At the time, the group controlled America's entire infrastructure. Members included truck drivers, warehouse, construction, dock workers, airhouse, construction, dock workers, airline staff, newspaper printers, public housing employees, on and on. At its height, the union represented 1.4 million Americans. The group also had deep ties to organized crime. During his tenure, Hoffa worked with the mob to steal millions of dollars through extortion, racketeering, election fraud, and murder. In 1967, the union boss was convicted of bribery and sentenced to 13 years in prison. He was released in 1971. On July 30th, 1975, Jimmy Hoffa had a lunch meeting with known gangsters at a restaurant outside Detroit.

While waiting for his associates in a parking lot, a maroon car pulled up. Hoffa got in? He was never seen again. Several conspiracy theories have been floated around about Hoff's disappearance and the location of his remand. Some believe he's buried under Yankee Stadium. Others claim he changed his identity, fled the country. In my best selling book, killing the mob, we chronicle the disappearance of Hoffa. Here are the facts. Various scenarios have been portrayed in books and movies, but the FBI has never solved the case. In December, 1982, a Michigan judge declared Hoffa legally dead.
