Bill O'Reilly here.
you are listening to the O'Reilly update.
Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill.
It is Friday, July 31st, 2026.
Here's what's happening today in America.
African invasion, Saudi land invasion, dad sentenced,
and Trump might pull the nomination.
It's all coming up,
and Bill's going to be here with your message of the day
of the first incredible videos out of North Africa.
Tens of thousands of migrants
streaming into this Spanish-owned portion of Morocco.
The Spanish Supreme Court made a ruling
that police cannot stop migrants who come by sea.
Well, there's this little small sliver of Morocco
that's owned by the Spanish.
And the Africans took advantage.
Even if they just swim a couple yards
from Moroccan territory to Spanish territory,
there's nothing the police or military can do about it.
The local government of this city called Madrid
and said, can you please declare a national emergency
deploy the military. They finally did. 3,000 Spanish troops are now in the city, but don't think that
the military is going to be there to stop the migrants from entering Spanish territory, as much as
be there to make it a more orderly invasion. The current president of Spain is a member of the Spanish
Socialist Workers Party, not too different from our Democratic Socialists of America Party.
Saudi Arabia is preparing a possible sea and land invasion against the Houthis in Yemen.
The goal here is to break the chokehold that they have on oil exports through their Red Sea.
So about 80% of Saudi Arabia's oil moves through the Strait of Hormuz, 20% goes through the Red Sea.
Saudi Arabia has been and will make more investments of moving oil through the Red Sea, but Yemen's in the way.
The Saudi Defense Ministry said that 14 states, including Turkey, Pakistan, Egypt, Sudan, they've all issued a joint statement supporting a multinational maritime defense coalition.
The Houthis are aligned with Iran.
They said they're imposing a toll on all ships, just like Iran trying to do in the Strait of Ormoos.
Saudi Arabia asked a group of European countries, including Germany, France, England, UK, to join their Red Sea Coalition.
Yesterday, we reported on a school murderer that was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Well, his dad was just sentenced as well.
His dad gave him one of the guns that his son used to kill two students and two teachers back in 2024.
for. The judge said it is clear you failed as a parent. He's now one of a handful of parents
who have been criminally charged for their child's school shootings. Two Republican senators
are against Todd Blanche to be confirmed for the Attorney General, Tom Tillis, John Corny. They're
on their way out the door. The president said he may pull the nomination of Blanche, but not really.
As soon as Cornyn and Tillis are out, Trump said he'll renominate Blanche again.
Mike Slater from the podcast, Politics by Faith. Bill O'Reilly has your
message of the day. Next. Hey, if you're here listening, you know you don't want spin, right?
You know that, Bill knows that, Bill does not mess with the spin. You want it straight. So here's a
straight recommendation. I'm Mike Baker, former CIA officer, and every day on the president's daily
brief, I do for national security and geopolitics, exactly what this show does for the news.
No agenda, no hysteria, no opinion, just the facts. We tell you what's happening. You decide
how to think about it. It's named for the brief.
It lands on the president's desk, and it runs every single day.
20 minutes in the morning, 10 minutes in the afternoon.
Smart, fast, honest, follow the president's daily brief on Apple, Spotify, or wherever you listen.
Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On this Friday, I'm thinking about Iran.
The Mullers in Tehran reportedly threatened physical violence against Melania and Baron Trump.
No surprise.
these are savages over there.
But it should be a sobering moment for every American.
The problem for President Trump is that the American people
are not backing him the way they usually would.
That's because of high prices for gasoline and food.
Most folks know the administration strike on Iran was the right thing to do.
You cannot let a terrorist nation develop a nuclear.
weapon. So right now, it is impossible to ascertain the situation on the ground. How much damage
is the USA doing to the Iranians? There's no accurate reporting. Information is scant.
But there is a history component to all of this. In 1945, the High Command in Germany and also in Japan,
refused to acknowledge the war was lost.
They did not care how many of their own people died.
Some leadership is just crazy.
And the mullahs are in that category.
The solution to Iran remains elusive.
I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it.

Name in town if you wish to opine.
Now let's go to the mail.
George, concierge member,
George is under our protection.
Somebody does something untoward
toward George.
My crew will help him.
Fraudely USA may be real,
but the double standard is hard to ignore.
President Trump is asking voters to view him
as a champion of accountability
while facing longstanding criticism
over conflicts of interest
and ethical concerns.
At the same time, the administration's highest profile fraud crackdowns seem concentrated in blue states,
even though fraud is hardly unique to democratic jurisdictions.
I disagree.
The massive fraud, it thinks massive amount of fraud to get the federal government's attention.
Usually the state, George, regulates that.
But the blue states, like California and Minnesota, won't do it.
So what would you do?
So fraud is usually a local or state situation, not feds,
even though in these cases federal money is being stolen.
So I know of no other red state that is under scrutiny like this.
And if you do, let me know.
David Concierge, remember, Bill, your stat on LBJ's incompetence, cowardice and corruption.
He deliberately defied JFK's executive order to begin withdrawing military personnel for South Vietnam
shortly before his assassination.
All the reason I became aware of that was your book Confronting the Presidents.
Now it appears Trump is also making the same colossal mistake of micromanaging this war with Iraq.
I'm glad you read confronting the president's because you're correct.
Kennedy wanted to get him out.
As soon as Kennedy was assassinated, Johnson came in, overrode the United.
executive order and mounted U.S. troops in disaster. In a moment, something you might not know.
Now the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know. Ninety-four years ago today,
a small political party from Bavaria won 38% of the popular vote in Germany. Forty-eight months
later, its leader would have total control over the entire nation. Here's a story. Here's a story.
story of the rise of the Third Reich.
In January 1919, a locksmith named Anton Drexler founded the German Workers' Party.
The group held the first meeting in September.
In attendance was a young veteran from the Great War, Adolf Hitler.
By the early 1920s, the organization was renamed the National Socialist Party.
better known as the Nazis.
Hitler assumed control.
He organized rallies in Munich and other cities.
He actually was sentenced to prison for a time.
Yet the Nazis remain somewhat popular.
It was the Great Depression that catapulted Hitler to success.
In 1924, the organization had just 25,000 members in Germany.
By the end of 1930, that number had grown to 12 million.
On July 31st, 1932, the Nazis won 38% of the vote in the German national election.
That was their high point.
Second place was a socialist party.
Third, the communists.
The final result, 75% of the German people voted against.
democratic rule. The Nazis immediately consolidated power. In January 1933, Hitler was named
Chancellor. After the death of President Hindenburg, Hitler abolished the title, declaring himself
the Fuhrer, German for leader. By July, the dictator designated the Nazis as the only
legitimate political party in Germany. Membership became mandatory for civil servants,
members of the media bureaucrats. Hitler's fantasy of a thousand-year Reich ended with his suicide in
1945 as Russian forces closed in. Back in a moment. Thank you for listening to the O'Reilly update.
