Thank you, Bill.
It's Thursday, best day of the week, June 20th, 2024.
Here's what happening today in America.
commandments ship sunk cold war agreement and say hey willie maize it's all coming up then bill's
going to be here with your message of the day but first louisiana just voted to require the ten
commandments to be in every classroom k through 12 and higher education back in 1980 the supreme
court struck down a law like this in kansas was a five to four ruling the governor of louisiana
says i can't wait to be sued one of the democrats who voted against it said i don't have
to learn the Ten Commandments in school. We went to Sunday school. You want your kids to learn
about the Ten Commandments? Take them to church. All I will say about this is if you do not fill
the classrooms with the religion, the pagans will fill it with a religion. And we've seen the
fruit of that these last 50 years. The Houthis have sunk another ship in the Red Sea, the second
since March. The first was a British ship, this time a Greek-owned coal carrier. The ship was first
hit on July 12th by a smaller boat and then was hit again by something from the air drone or
missile. Centcom issued a very strongly worded tweet. The ongoing threat to international commerce
caused by the Houthis, in fact make it harder to deliver badly needed assistance to the people
of Yemen as well as Gaza. Ooh, that'll make them stop. Vladimir Putin met up with Kim Jong-un
in North Korea. They signed an agreement that pledges mutual aid if either country faces
aggression. This is the first visit from Russia into North Korea in 24 years. North Korea could
provide Russia with weapons that they need for their war in Ukraine in exchange for technology
for North Korea's missile program. Say Hey, Willie Mays has passed away. He was baseball's
oldest living Hall of Famer, voted into the Hall of Fame in 1979, his first year eligible,
and followed only Babe Ruth on the Sporting News's list of the game's top players. The Giants, of course,
retired his uniform, and their baseball park is on Willie Mays Plaza.
23 seasons, 301 batting average, 660 home runs, 3,293 hits.
He was only 56 home runs behind Babe Ruth.
But keep in mind, Willie Mays served two seasons in Korea, and his average number of
home runs would have had him beat Babe Ruth if he played those two seasons.
In 2010, he said, when I played ball, I tried to make sure everybody enjoyed what I was doing.
I made the clubhouse guy fit me in a cap that when I ran, the wind gets up in the bottom
and it flies right off. People love that kind of stuff. Willie Mays passed away at 93. Bill O'Reilly
with your message of the day. Next. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On this Thursday, here's how insane our political system has become under President Biden.
The head of the FBI, Christopher Ray, is publicly warning that a terror attack is very possible.
We could be hit with violence at any time, says Ray.
But the president of the United States will not address the issue because of his open border policy.
Ray believes Biden's failure to enforce immigration law is making it much easier for the terror killers.
Now, writing this month in the journal Foreign Affairs, former CIA Assistant Director Mike Morell
and Dean Graham Allison of Harvard illuminate Ray's warning.
Here's a quote.
The FBI director has also highlighted a specific scrutiny vulnerability.
In December, Ray warned the Senate Judiciary Committee that foreign terrorists have the ability
to exploit any point of entry, including our southwest border.
And indeed, eight men with ties to ISIS were arrested last week, as you know.
They all came across the porous southern border.
Have you heard the president addressed that issue in any meaningful way?
You have not.
He is putting politics above.
national security. What say you, George Clooney, and your foolish showbiz pals?
Finally, keep a focus on the Olympics in France. Very high-value target. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve
the message by writing it. You can reach me. Bill at Bill o'Reilly.com. Bill at Bill o'Reilly.com.
Name in town, if you wish to opine. All right, let's go to the mail. We got Penny. I will
We'll be voting for President Trump, not just against Joe Biden.
I would vote for Trump no matter what Democrat was running.
Okay, I understand, but all penny, all of the polls show every single one of them that most
Americans are voting against something, not for.
And that was the gist of our report.
yesterday.
Janet Eskorn, Jackson, Wyoming, a great little town, cold but good.
Hey Bell, you spoke about Judicial Watch in a not so favorable way a few weeks ago.
I saw Tom Fenton, he's the president of it.
I was impressed enough to start supporting the organization.
Would you mind elaborating on your feeling?
I told you then, Janet, what it was.
Judicial Watch does good work in ferreting out information, freedom of information.
Freedom of Information Act.
In fact, I think it's the best for doing that.
But whenever we ask them to appear, they dodge.
They dodge us.
Okay?
So, you know, when that happens, I get skeptical.
Mary Hamlet, Fresno, California,
I appreciate your apology about your analysis of media
covering the terrorists crossing the border.
Too many people do not accept when they make a mistake.
I know, but, you know, I got to do it.
Second time in 27 years.
I still have a nightmare.
I had a nightmare about it last night.
In a moment, something you might not know.

Twelve years ago today, President Barack Obama asserted executive privilege over a botched gun smuggling
scheme involving Mexican drug cartels. The scandal ensnared his administration until the election
of Donald Trump. Here is the story behind Operation Fast and Furious. The mission's goal was to track
the flow of firearms purchased in the USA, then smuggled south of the border. In violation of federal
law, agents of the ATF and DOJ allowed known Mexican criminals to buy
weapons from undercover agents in the USA. Those guns were later recovered at multiple crime
scenes, including a shootout between Mexican police and the cartel. In total, 2,000 weapons
were sold to the gangsters. The ATF was able to track less than half of them. The operation
drew significant criticism from both Republicans and Democrats. Congressional investigations were
launched, high-ranking officials, including Attorney General Eric Holder, were called to
testify. But Holder did not go and was held in contempt of Congress. But as usual, nothing
happened to Eric Holder. Then on June 20, 2012, President Obama issued an executive order
shielding internal documents related to Fast and Furious from being shared with Congress or the
public. Said Obama, quote, I think it's important for us to understand that the fast and
furious program was a field-initiated program begun under the previous administration.
When we found out about it, we discontinued it, unquote. Well, that might be a bit unfair to
President Bush the Younger. In the aftermath, the DOJ and ATF abandoned the operation launched an
internal investigation. In September, Inspector General Michael Horowitz,
released a 500-page report, clearing everybody of anything.
That's the way it works in Washington.
And here's something else you might not know.
Fast and Furious not only failed to limit the number of guns flowing into Mexico,
it also yielded few convictions.
In total, a two-year mission led to just 80 prosecutions,
the retrieval of 100 weapons,
and the seizure of less than one kilogram of cocaine.
Back after this.
power, politics and the people behind the headlines.
