Thank you, Bill.
It is Monday, June 22nd, 2026.
Here's this happening today in America.
Advance in Switzerland.
Prime Minister on the outs.
Big Trump win in Colombia
and a huge win for America.
It's all coming up.
Then Bill's going to be here
with your message of the day.
But first, the back and forth continues with Iran.
Their chief negotiators said the country
will not give up its right to enrich uranium.
Trump said, quote,
he better watch his mouth, you better shape up, or we're going to take over the rest of the country.
This Iranian guy said they will close the straight, and Trump said you close it and you won't have a
country. The president said, we may have to take over the straight if we have to. If they don't make
a deal, we will collect tolls. Then Iran said, we don't count on the threats of the Americans.
They better be careful with their statements. Our armed forces are ready to respond in another way,
and whatever they say, we are the ones who will act. Meanwhile, while all this is going on,
J.D. Fances in Switzerland to talk about peace negotiations. And Israel said it will not withdraw
from its security zone in Lebanon. The IDF said Hezbollah fired 50 rockets this weekend. The prime
minister of England might be on the outs, Kier Starmer. Apparently his support is way down,
as one labor member of parliament put it down to a handful of friends and family. He said there's
no one left. Literally people whose relatives work in number 10 or people who are long-term
personal friends are pretty much the only ones left.
Before any announcement was made, the president wrote on truth social,
Kier Starman will resign as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
So the president scooped everybody.
He said the Prime Minister failed badly on immigration and energy policy.
Quote, I wish him well.
Labor lost by a lot in England's most recent elections.
A right-wing lawyer with no prior political experience,
a Trump-backed candidate, appears to be the next president of Columbia.
He's actually a dual citizen of Columbia in America.
He ran on a tough on crime platform.
He promised to build 10 mega prisons in his country,
inspired by the policies of the president of El Salvador,
another great ally of America and this president.
Trump endorsed this candidate in Columbia earlier in the month.
Worth noting that since the president came in and defunded USAID,
the far-right Trump-aligned candidate has won elections in Chile,
Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Honduras, Costa Rica, and now Colombia.
Team USA in the World Cup on Friday,
Eat Australia, two to nothing, back-to-back victories, clenching the group stage.
There's still another game to go.
And they'll move on to the round of 32, no matter what happens there.
That round of 32, the beginning of the knockout stage, that game is July 1st in San Francisco.
But there's one more chance to watch Team USA in action.
This game that doesn't really matter.
We'll see how many of our top players start.
That game is this Thursday at 9 o'clock Eastern.
I'm Mike Slater from the podcast, Politics by Faith.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On this Monday, do you hear about England trying to ban social media for any kid 16 or under?
It's going to become law.
And the way it works is not they're going to break into the kids' bedroom or whatever and grab the telephone,
but they're going to monitor TikTok and X and all of these social media companies to see who's consuming your product.
And apparently they have the technology, they being the British government, to know if underage kids,
again 16 or under, are using social media, and if they do, they're going to find the companies.
Kids get off free.
Now, that'll chill freedom of expression.
It could not happen in the United States.
Okay, First Amendment get trotted out.
The courts would cite on the free speech argument, but not in Great Britain.
They have a different system.
And so there's only one.
other country in the world doing this Australia which is more on the British
system than the American system and it seems to be working that the big social media
companies are reporting or cutting off or whatever they do the social media for
the teenagers is this a good thing I think it is for the kids but not for freedom
of expression
I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me. Bill at billowryly.com. Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com. Name in town if you wish to opine. Now let's go to the mail.
Phil O'Rossler, Ever at Washington, I hear you saying that America is not supporting President Trump because the way the conflict with Iran is unfolding. As for myself and the people I know, we are willing to pay the price of high gas.
and food to get rid of that terror machine.
Okay, Phil, you're part of the 31% that are willing to do that.
Look, my analysis is fact-based.
That's what people still don't understand.
No emotion involved with this.
Most Americans do not like the Iran situation.
But now, if it comes out the way Trump wants it to come out,
to come out, that's going to spin fast.
Pete Dembeck, Middle Island, New York,
similar to the prescription pricing,
why can't the US government demand American-based oil
companies extract their oil from inside the United States
borders?
Will they do?
Where do you think we're getting our oil?
We extract it from our borders.
We have a pipeline in Canada.
The problem is, when we have to have it,
the oil and it's ready to go, some of it is sold overseas to foreign countries. That's the
problem. It's very hard for a president to interfere with private commerce. So he can say,
and I would, hey, you guys better knock it off and keep the oil here or something bad might happen
to you. I would do that. In a moment, something you might not know.
Now the O'Reilly update brings you something you might, not know.
Four hundred fifteen years ago today, a mutiny took place aboard a British vessel called the discovery.
Nine men were dispatched into the icy waters of northern Canada.
One of them was the most important English explorer in history.
Here is the story behind the disappearance of Henry Hudson.
The Englishman launched his first journey to North America in 1609.
The captain explored vast sections of the continent, including the Chesapeake Bay, Delaware, Virginia.
He was the first European to reach the area that would become New York City.
Henry believed the waterway running along the west coast of Manhattan, later named the Hudson River,
would lead him to the Pacific Ocean, China, and eventually a pathway back to Europe.
Henry was wrong.
So he reversed course and returned to England before launching another three expeditions
to find a western route to Asia.
But things did not end well.
Henry Hudson's last voyage departed London April 1610.
The crew sailed beyond Greenland, then Northern Canada.
After three months, the discovery was trapped by blizzards.
The group went ashore to wait out the winter.
Lacking food or supplies, the semen slowly starved to death.
On June 22nd, 1611, the crew turned against the 46-year-old.
Captain Hudson, and there was a mutiny. They forced Henry into a lifeboat, along with his teenage son and seven
loyalists. The group was then cast into the sea, never seen again. Although Hudson vanished in
the Arctic, his discoveries gave England its claim to large sections of the new world. And here's
something else you might not know.
Henry Hudson's legacy lives on.
Three of the most noteworthy bodies of water in North America, the Hudson River, Hudson Strait, Hudson Bay are obviously all named in his honor.
