Starting point is 00:00:25 Learn more at honda.com slash CRV. Bill O'Reilly here. You are listening to the O'Reilly update. Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater. Thank you, Bill. It is Thursday, June 26, 2025. Here's this happening today in America. Fake news, CNN.
Starting point is 00:00:45 The Senate parliamentarian, FBI investigates hospitals and a secret party. It's all coming up. Then Bill's going to be here with your message today. But first, Trump was at the NATO meeting in the Netherlands, where he ripped most of the media in the room, in particular CNN for their report that the American attack on Fordo only caused limited damage. Trump and Marco Rubio and Hegesath said that this was from an early intelligence assessment,
Starting point is 00:01:11 which CNN says was leaked to them by an anonymous source. But the assessment also said that it could have caused immense damage. CNN didn't report that. Trump said, I just want to thank our pilots. You know they were maligned, demeaned by fake news CNN, wasting everyone's time. Nobody's watching them. So they're wasting a lot of time, wasting my time. We've collected additional intelligence, and we've also spoken to people who have seen
Starting point is 00:01:33 the site, and the site is obliterated. I talked to Rand Paul yesterday on the one big, beautiful bill. He said that the Senate parliamentarian took out of the bill any elimination of welfare benefits for illegal aliens. She said it wasn't a monetary issue, and only financial changes can be put in the bill, not policy. So she took it out. This unelected parliamentarian made the decision.
Starting point is 00:01:58 that this is not policy, and now it's gone. Rand Paul said, so we basically have an unelected person who works in the Senate who has decided that she can decide for the country that we can't eliminate welfare for illegal aliens, which to me is insane that we allow that to happen. The FBI is investigating three children's hospitals for performing illegal genital mutilation on girls, which is outlawed by federal law.
Starting point is 00:02:20 They do it under the guise of gender-affirming care. Boston Children's Hospital, Children's Hospital, Colorado, and Children's Hospital, Los Angeles, are the FBI's current targets. Just a few days after taking office, President Trump signed an executive order, directing all federal agencies to work towards terminating the ability for children under 18 to receive irreversible medical interventions as a treatment for gender dysphoria. Part of the effort included the Attorney General, Pam Bondi, issuing a memorandum several weeks later directing Justice Department personnel to enforce 18 U.S. Code 116, which is a federal statute that
Starting point is 00:02:55 makes female general mutilation against the law. A North Carolina landscaper was arrested for throwing a party at a house that he was working on when the owners were on vacation. The police say he took it upon himself to invite several hundred people, charged people on entry fee. Neighbors called for noise complaints. Police said they arrived at the house. He said it was his house. Then he told police it was his grandpa's house. And then he admitted he was just the lawn guy. He told the local news that he remains confident the owners will still request his work for their lawn care. Bill Riley has your message of the day. Next.
Starting point is 00:03:28 Amazon Pharmacy presents. Painful Thoughts. 20 more minutes to kill in the pharmacy before my prescription is ready. Maybe I'll grab some deeply discounted out-of-season Halloween candy. Hmm, I never had a chocolate pumpkin with raisins before. Those were raisins, right? Next time, use Amazon Pharmacy. We deliver.
Starting point is 00:03:52 And, no, those were not raisins. on pharmacy. Health care just got less painful. Time now for the O'Reilly Update. Message of the Day. On this Thursday, President Trump is lashing out at CNN and MSNBC for saying the U.S. bombing mission was not the success the administration claims. Using anonymous sources, CNN cites intelligence analysts as a source of its dubious reporting. The truth is is. Nobody knows the extent of the damage at the Iranian uranium depots. Say that again. Iranian uranium. That's say it five times. But nobody knows the damage there. Okay?
Starting point is 00:04:41 Not even a president. How could he assess that situation? There are no Americans on the ground near the targets and the Iranians themselves can't go underground for fear the earth will collapse on them. They wouldn't tell the truth anyway, even if they were down there, which they're not. Satellite pictures show huge surface damage and mountain caveans. Looks devastating, but there's no scorecard, so the CNN report is unreliable, no surprise. The merchants of malice in the media don't care what's actually true. They make their money hating or approving of Donald Trump. It's also tedious, and it never ends.
Starting point is 00:05:28 The odds are the U.S. bombing did inflict tremendous damage on Iran's nuke program. Otherwise, the mullahs would be gloating. They're not. They're frightened. So that is the truth. The nuke damage will someday be assessed, but don't count on the American media to report on that accurately or honestly. I'm Bill O'Reilly. by writing it, you can reach me. Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com, bill at bill o'Reilly.com, name in town, if you wish to opine.
Starting point is 00:06:03 Let's go to the mail. We have Robert D. Benedetto, Augusta, Georgia. Tell me if I'm wrong, Bill, about the seas fire. I know it's impossible to predict, but I'd like to know what your gut feeling is. Mine's telling me that terrorists like lepers cannot change their spots. I believe President Trump is a peacemaker and is hopeful, but he's fooling himself. That kind of analysis gets us nowhere. I don't have gut. I go on probability.
Starting point is 00:06:36 The probability is that, yeah, there'll be some ceasefire violations, but I think that the initial foray against Iran was extremely successful in downgrading. that terror nation. There'll be a lot of unintended consequences to come. I'm not speculating specifically, but at this point it looks like a victory for the USA. Doug Halbert, Mesa, Arizona, as the drum of Republican isolationists gets louder and louder.
Starting point is 00:07:09 I think we can take a lesson from 1938-41. It feels like we're watching a rerun of pre-December 7th, 41. Do we really want to wait for Pearl Harbor to wake us up? Look, there was a very strong isolationist movement, particularly against Germany. Japan wasn't the threat that Hitler was, because Hitler, you could see in 39, and he's going into Poland, and you can see him. Japan was kind of quiet and caught us by surprise. But isolationism never works as our analysis proves, ever.
Starting point is 00:07:43 Particularly in this kind of a world where economic disruption will affect every American. In a moment, something you might not know. Now the O'Reilly Update brings you something you might not know. The United States is home to some of the most diverse landscapes found anywhere on the planet. But one of the Earth's most treacherous places is in South Florida.
Starting point is 00:08:42 And we're not talking Miami. We are talking the Everglades. The tropical wetland, 8,000 square miles of rivers, marshes, floodplains, beaches. European settlers, then Americans, tried to drain that swamp for 500 years before giving up. The region is home to 400 species of birds, 100 reptiles, 50 mammals, and, of course, a few human beings. Just 400 people live inside Everglades National Park. The folks reside in elevated houses to avoid floods and dangerous creatures. There are more than two dozen species in the Everglades that can kill you.
Starting point is 00:09:30 Alligators, saltwater crocodiles, sharks, feral pigs, poisonous snakes, spiders, panthers, and hundreds of hungry black bears. To tame the creatures, thousands of bounty hunters stock the swamp. Florida pays the trappers $15 bucks an hour and $75 for each yard of snake skin. And here's something else you might not know. The most dangerous animal found the Everglades arrived sometime in the late 20th century, the Burmese python. Researchers believe there are half million pythons
Starting point is 00:10:12 living in the glades some more than 20 feet long. It all started when idiots who had a python as a pet dumped the snake in the Everglades, and that happened more than once, so they made it. But today a new threat is emerging in the glades. Serpents have mated with another species, forming a deadly predator. So-called hybrid pythons taken over.
Starting point is 00:10:39 The animals, a combination of Burmese, and Indian pythons are growing in numbers. The snake is faster, heavier, more lethal than its cousin. They can suffocate a human being in two minutes. Devour an entire deer in an hour. Back after this. AI so you can get real-time answers. Hey, Meta, how bougie is Jade Garden? It's a trendy spot.
