Hundreds of police officers quit the New York Police Department. Protesters in St. Louis want the town to change its name. Four men arrested for trying to tear down Andrew Jackson's statue in D.C. Starting point is 00:00:51 49% spike from the same period last year. Copside a lack of leadership from Mayor de Blasio disrescent. on the street and threats to their own safety. Crime in New York City surging. Fanatics in St. Louis demanding the city change its name. Two hundred people gathering at a statue honoring Lewis the Ninth, the French king, launched a series of crusades during the Middle Ages, but after that was declared a saint. Critics say Lewis committed genocide and historical absurdity. St. Louis was named after a French king because of French explorers on the Mississippi. Four men in Washington charge were trying to destroy a statue of Andrew Jackson
Starting point is 00:01:44 near the White House. This after President Trump signed an executive order instructing police to arrest anyone caught vandalizing federal property. Maximum penalty, 10 years in prison. Coca-Cola joining Honda, Hershey, and other brands boycotting Facebook. Companies claim the social network allows users to post, quote, racist content without being suspended. The advertising freeze starts July 1st under a global campaign called Stop Hate for Profit. Facebook has more than 2.6 billion users in 100 countries. The Rolling Stones threatening to sue President Trump over his use of their songs at campaign rallies. Said the group's lawyer, quote, if Donald Trump disregards the exclusion and persists, then he would face a lawsuit for breaking the embargo and
Starting point is 00:02:37 playing music that has not been licensed. The key song in question, you can't always get what you want. But you can get the hidden truth about the Black Lives Matter organization. That is a next. As you may know, more than 44 million Americans have lost their jobs. The Fed just warned the recession may get worse. So I recommend you consider gold and silver. And the only company I recommend is American Hartford Gold Group. I trust them. I've done business with them. I recommend them. They sell physical gold and silver delivered right to your door or inside your IRA. And they make it easy. So please call them right now. And make sure you tell them that Bill sent you, and they will give you, ready, $1,500 of free silver on your first order.
Starting point is 00:03:35 Since I've been recommending American Hartford Gold Group, gold is up more than 30%. So don't wait. Call 877-44-44-G-O-L-D or text gold to 65532. Again, that's 877-44-4-4-4-Gold, or Gold to 65532. Time now for the O'Reilly Update message of the day, what the heck is happening to this country? Americans are divided, angry, sad, inspired in some cases, and very watchful of the Black Lives Matter movement. Last week, one of its leaders proclaimed on national TV that, quote, if this country doesn't give us what we want, then we will burn the system down, unquote. Hawk Newsom continued saying, he might be talking figuratively or literally. Very macho, very provocative, might be a threat. Now, you would think the national press would be
Starting point is 00:04:42 all over this story, trying to get accurate information about the Black Lives Matter operation to the American people who the press is supposed to serve. I mean, this is an important story, is it not? Mr. Newsome, who heads the New York City chapter of Black Lives Matter, is the new Huey Newton, whom the 1960s media largely adored. Mr. Newton co-founded the Black Panther Party. Do you know who co-founded the current Black Lives Matter organization? Bet you don't, because the press has totally ignored the real story regarding the BLM movement. Three women are behind the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, which is the central organization that directs policy.
Starting point is 00:05:36 Alicia Garza, 39, the chief strategic advisor. Patrice Cullors, 36, also a top advisor. Finally, Opal Tamedi, 36, is the third force. She works with the BLM Foundation and is also, also the executive director of the Black Alliance for Just Immigration. That group is associated with the Freedom Road Socialist Organization, a Marxist-Leninist group that has received funding from the Tides Foundation run by George Soros. Ah, the plot thickens. The three women who essentially run the BLM Foundation, keep a very low profile, no cable news interviews for them. Nope, these ladies are
Starting point is 00:06:27 serious. In an interview with a professor from Morgan State University, Ms. Culler said, quote, myself and Alicia Garza in particular are trained organizers. We are trained Marxists. We are superversed on ideological theories, unquote. So do you think the protesters chanting Black Lives Matter in the streets? Understand what the Black Lives Matter global network really is? And then there's the Thousand Currence operation out of Oakland, California. Ever heard of it? I didn't think so. Because the Black Lives Matter Foundation does not have tax-exempt status,
Starting point is 00:07:08 the Thousand Currence outfit holds their money. And the IRS allows that, giving anyone deductions. for donating to BLM. Carl Marx would love this, a capitalistic government allowing tax deductions for money earmarked to destroy it. So the Marxists have a lot of money
Starting point is 00:07:35 and a lot of power, and the media ignores it. I'm Bill O'Reilly, and I approve that message by actually writing it. Please visit Bill O'Reilly.com for honest reporting.
