Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill.
It is June, 3rd, June, 3rd, 2024.
Here's this happening today in America.
Since conviction, Hunter Biden on trial.
Navy SEALs go woke.
And the latest on the poop balloons, it's all coming up.
You heard that right.
Then Bill's going to be here with your message of the day.
But first, the first major poll since Trump was convicted,
CBSUGov poll.
How have the views of the people change since Donald J. Trump was convicted on 34, found it.
It made no difference.
Just over half before the verdict thought he was guilty.
And now the same amount of people think he's guilty.
And the same people think he was innocent, still think it was a witch hunt and nothing strange.
54% of independence think he got a fair trial.
Or if you know one of those people, just tell them that the judge donated money to Joe Biden's presidential campaign.
Should he serve prison time?
45% say no.
38% say yes and 17% are not sure.
Sentencing is on July 11th.
On to the next trial, but this one's very easy to understand in a total slam dunk.
Hunter Biden facing three felony gun charges.
The prosecution claims back in October of 2018, Hunter Biden knowingly lied on a federal form
about his drug use in order to buy a revolver.
He's charged with two counts of false statements and purchasing a firearm,
third count of illegally obtaining a firearm while addicted to drugs.
Jury selection is today.
One of the claims from the defense is hilarious.
So the question was, are you an unlawful user of or addicted to
and listed a bunch of drugs?
He checked no.
And the defense is claiming, quote, the term user or addict are not defined on the form
and we're not explained to him.
Isn't that great?
All right, so it's Pride Month now.
Get ready to be inundated.
The Facebook page for the Navy Seals was sure to celebrate Pride Month.
The Department of Defense messed up.
They posted about how June is PTSD Awareness Month, which has been since 2014.
So the text was about that, but the picture was a big rainbow pride whole thing with the trans flag and all that.
It was also fun in Philadelphia.
There was a pride parade that was interrupted by pro Hamas protesters.
It's fun to watch them eat their own.
In similar news, actually, North Korea says they will pause their poop balloons, the big balloons that carry plastic bags full of feces and garbage that land in the streets of South Korea.
North Korea said they did this because they're sick of South Korea sending them balloons with pamphlets and thumb drives about freedom, which is a beautiful metaphor.
Look at the contents of the balloons that are being sent in either direction.
North Korea sent over 1,000 balloons.
I'm Mike Slater. Bill O'Reilly has your message of the day. Next.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On this Monday, if you follow my commentary, you know that I believe something major is going to happen in the USA between now and November to better define the presidential vote.
The Trump trial is not it.
Now, I have no idea what the change event could be, but let's look at some possibilities.
If there is a major terror attack against the USA and the perpetrators entered this country through the southern border, that will sink.
Biden.
We all know that millions of foreign nationals have gone across the border because of Biden's
open policy down there, and they are largely unattended at this very moment.
So a terror attack emanating from the southern border takes Biden right out.
Health problems, not only for Joe Biden, but also Donald Trump.
Either man, if he experiences some severe health problems, that will absolutely affect the vote.
Damning conduct, and it would really have to be on tape, so everybody could see it, and it'd have to be new by either candidate, would change the voting equation.
And finally, if either of these men have a total public meltdown, I'm Bill O'Reilly, I approve the message by writing it, you can reach me.
Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com, Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com, name in town, if you wish to opine.
Now let's go to the mail.
Mike Gustafsson, Riverside, Illinois, what would President Biden have to do in order to be known as the worst president in U.S. history?
can't top Buchanan.
Because of James Buchanan and his predecessor, Franklin Pierce,
the Civil War happened.
Millions of Americans killed or maimed.
Not going to top that.
You'll see all of it spelled out for you
in confronting the presidents.
Coming out September 10th.
Augie M. Brickow, Hazleton, Pennsylvania.
Some time ago, Bill, mentioned Trump
will you running his campaign on vengeance?
If you could please expound on that.
would be greatly appreciated. Donald Trump is bitter. And can you blame them? Can you blame them?
I know the feeling. Now, I discipline myself, but I got a list. I got a list.
Bill Hawker, Zephyr Hills, Florida. Good morning, Bill. Longtime watcher and listener,

Now the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know.
Paul Revere gets a lot of glory and credit for his famous midnight ride.
Almost everybody's heard of Paul Revere.
But there was another midnight ride that no one knows about,
and it saved the life of Thomas Jefferson at the height of the Revolutionary War.
Here is the unknown story of Jack Jewish.
it. A southern farmer, he joined the Virginia Militia, shortly after the British marched on
Massachusetts. On the evening of June 3, 1781, the 27-year-old was drinking at a Virginia tavern
when he noticed an English lieutenant at the bar. Jack wandered around back, where he spotted
250 Red Coast resting.
After eavesdropping on the troops, Jack discovered their plan.
The British were to march on Charlottesville and arrest Thomas Jefferson, then the governor of Virginia.
Jewett left the tavern at midnight, riding 40 miles on horseback, to Jefferson's home in Monticello.
Later that same day, Jefferson, after getting the warning, rode to see.
safety, narrowly missing the arrival of the enemy troops.
Thomas Jefferson's critics accused him of desertion.
The General Assembly of Virginia later absolved him of any wrongdoing.
In 1801, he became America's third president.
The charge of desertion bothered Jefferson for the rest of his life.
As for Jack Jewett, he went on to serve in the General Assemblies of both Kentucky and
Virginia, lawmakers awarded him an honorary sword and pistol for his heroic midnight ride.
And here's something else you might not know.
Jefferson wasn't the only founding father to escape the Red Coast on that night.
Jack's warnings saved the lives of Patrick Henry, John Tyler Sr., and other Virginia politicians.
Jewett's actions played a significant role in a Patriot's victory during the Revolutionary War,
but he never got any credit.
Have you ever heard of Jack Jewett?
Now you have.
Back after this.
