Forty people have been killed in New York in the last four weeks because of foolish, irresponsible policies engineered by de Blasio and Governor Cuomo. The mayor still wants to slash a billion dollars from the police budget. Critics say the move could return the city to the bad old days in the 1980s. Since June murders are up 78 percent, shooting 68 percent burglaries 40%. But de Blasio does not care. Gun violence in Seattle's Autonomous Zone, leaving two people dead, five seriously injured since a group of protesters seized the area earlier this month.

Enough anarchy, enough unpunished crime, enough cowardly politicians. So I am standing up for my country. you will join me. I'll have details in a moment, but first the problem. As everybody knows, the radical left is running wild, led by the Black Lives Matter movement, not the slogan, the
Starting point is 00:04:38 movement. Now, I have a column posted on bill o'Reilly.com, where I tell you about this radical group and what it wants, really wants. not the propaganda you hear on the media. I urge you to go to Bill O'Reilly.com and read that column. Black Lives Matter is a Marxist group, and they admit it. And the press doesn't care. The media in America apparently wants the entire system to be torn down. And if you object to that,
Starting point is 00:05:19 if you think your country is noble and not run by white supremacists, and you're a racist. And that has frightened millions of Americans, including many politicians. They don't want to be branded a racist on Twitter, on social media, where the Marxist mobs rule. This is bad. I've been reporting for 46 years, and I have never seen anything like this, including the Vietnam War protests. Now, the truth is, there are many more Americans like me than like the radical left. I believe 60 to 70% of Americans love their country, don't want it torn apart. But we don't hear from them because CNN, NBC News, Dizzy Run ABC, CBS, ignore them. Ignore them.
Starting point is 00:06:32 This radio station that you're listening to right now doesn't ignore traditional people, which is why I'm on it. So what can we do? Because this is a civil war. It's been coming for a while. And here it is. What can we do? Well, the first thing is you've got to stand up for your country and let people know about it.
Starting point is 00:06:57 No kneeling. I only kneel before God. I don't kneel on a political situation. So I have, on Bill O'Reilly.com, manufactured a slogan, Stand up for your country, simple. It's on stickers. You can get the stickers on Bill O'Reilly.com, and you can put them anywhere. But the most important thing is that you give them to other people.
Starting point is 00:07:29 I want a million of these things, 10 million of them, on the streets of America. Stand up for your country. That's not a political slogan. It's not favoring any political party. It's standing up for America, and we need to do it. Now. I'm Bill O'Reilly, and I approve that message by actually writing it for more news analysis. Starting point is 00:09:00 Update brings me something you might not know. On June 30th, 1938, action comics introduced the world to one of the most iconic figures in pop culture. Superman. The original comic book back then cost 10 cents. Today, a pristine first issue of Superman can sell for $3 million. 82 years later, comic book industry is worth more than 15 million bucks, spawning global movie franchises like The Avengers and Batman. The renewed popularity of caped crime fighters, despite comic book sales as well. Check your attic. These stories can be worth big money. Captain America Comics number one, Cap's first appearance fetching more than $340,000 at an auction. The cover shows Captain America fighting Adolf Hitler, nine months before the U.S. entered
Starting point is 00:10:02 World War II. Robert Downey Jr., grateful for this next one, Tales of Suspense, number 39, the debut of Iron Man worth $375,000 for the comic. Downey Jr. portrayed the character nine times in 10 years, made tens of millions of dollars on that. Flash Comics, number one, sells for $445,000. The 1940s success of Flash financed one of the biggest entertainment companies in the USA ever, DC Comics. Next, Detective comics, number 27, going for a million dollars. What does that get you? Well, the debut of the Dark Knight himself, Batman. The character has appeared in 12 major movies, 25 novels, nine different TV shows. Now, the first comic book was sold in the USA back in 1933 for five cents.
Starting point is 00:11:04 Americans today shell out a hundred million every year for comics, a hundred million. And here's something else you might not know. During World War II, the U.S. War Department had to censor Superman comics, banning the mention of atomic weapons and the American invasion of Europe. With the Manhattan Project underway, the government felt too uncomfortable, having this type of plot in a comic book. So they censored it. Back after this. As you may know, more than 44 million Americans have lost their jobs. The Fed just warned the recession may get worse. So I recommend you consider gold and silver. And the only company I
