So they had some
Starting point is 00:01:04 back and forth on the X yesterday. Among other things, Elon said, without me, Trump would have lost the election. Dems would control the House and Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate. Such ingratitude. He later said time to drop the really big bomb. Donald Trump is in the Epstein files. That's the real reason why they haven't been made public. Have a nice day,
Starting point is 00:01:26 DJT. Trump said, I've always liked Elon. And so I was very surprised. You saw the words he had for me and he hasn't said anything about me that's bad. I'd rather have him criticize me than the bill because the bill is incredible. The Supreme Court in a nine-nothing decision in favor of an Ohio woman who wanted to bring an employment discrimination claim against the state alleging she was passed over for a job on the basis of her heterosexual orientation. The plaintiff, Marlene Ames, alleges that her employer, the Ohio Department of Youth Services, denied her promotion and later demoted her
Starting point is 00:02:02 in both cases selecting gay candidates who were less qualified. Her supervisor at the time was also gay. Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex and sexual orientation. They call this reverse discrimination, but it's just discrimination. Now, the ruling means that Ames' lawsuit can't move forward, but doesn't necessarily mean that she will succeed in the case against her former employer. Arrests by ICE during Trump's first term topped 100,000. ICE recorded more than 2,000 arrests each day of the previous two days. An ice increase from the most recent daily average of 660 arrests during the first
Starting point is 00:02:41 hundred days of Trump's term. Stephen Miller has pushed ICE for a minimum of 3,000 arrests every day. ICE has been holding around 54,000 immigrants detained in detention facilities across the country. The Trump administration is a part of the big beautiful bill asking Congress to give ICE billions of dollars to have additional deportation officers and expand detention capacity to hold 100,000 individuals at any given point. Starting point is 00:04:13 The midterms in November 26th are historically important. That's because President Trump is redesigning the federal government and needs four years to accomplish his vision. If the Democrats gain control of the House or Senate, Mr. Trump will be severely constrained. Much depends on whether Trump's bold moves will improve the economy. We'll know that late this year as data emerges. But another major factor is the radicalization of the Democratic Party. It opposes nearly every solution President Trump is putting forth.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Cracking down on illegal immigration? No from the left. Cutting entitlement spending and downsizing government? Nope. Stopping liberal indoctrination in colleges? Democrats oppose. Biological men competing against women in sports. Dem support.
Starting point is 00:05:10 Tariffs to encourage fair trade? Oppose. Strict punishment for criminals? No way. Hiring and school admissions based on skin color all day long. The list of progressive policies is endless, and it's like a python strangling the party. Do American voters really want to return to the Biden years? Are there prominent Democrats criticizing those years?
Starting point is 00:05:40 Not that I can find. So the midterm campaigns are likely to be difficult for the left. And that, of course, is a big break for Donald Trump. I'm Bill O'Reilly. My objection is there must be trust between the two countries. No, it doesn't have to be trust between the two countries. It has to be a deal. If they break the deal, they break the deal, then we take action about that. Now, who's going to trust China?
Starting point is 00:06:47 Who? No one. Do they trust us? No. That doesn't mean you can't make a deal. Come on. Donna, I'm learning so much about China's government and the Chinese people from your analysis. Well, I'm glad that's why we, that's why I went over there.
