Bill O'Reilly here. It is Friday, June 7, 2019. You are listening to the O'Reilly Update,
and here's what's happening across America. Social Media Giant YouTube announced their decision this week.
To crack down on videos, they claim, promote extreme views. The new guidelines eliminate posts
promoting discrimination based on age, gender, race, caste, religion, sexual orientation,
veteran status or those who deny well-documented violent events like the Holocaust.
The ban also extends to disturbing videos aimed at children,
such as the Momo Challenge that appeared online last year.
The footage urged young teens to inflict self-harm,
culminating in their eventual suicide.
How appalling.
The policy will ultimately remove upwards of about 5,000 channels
across YouTube, impacting millions of users in more than 150 countries.
The mission is nearly impossible.
Industry insiders say more than 500 hours of content is uploaded on YouTube every single
minute of every day.
There's little doubt that the net is a dangerous place, particularly for children.
Decent people everywhere, objective videos featuring neo-Nazis, calling for the deaths of Jews,
blacks, Catholics, or anyone else.
There are terrorist recruitment videos, information on how to make weapons, graphic violence.
The list goes on and on.
This footage can be accessed by anybody on the net, including a 10-year-old on his or her smartphone.
There is no doubt this is a major problem that must be addressed.
For social media companies, this is a very dangerous situation.
Corporate censorship of free speech rarely works.
Most censorship, carried out by Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube is political, and typically fails.
Last year, a high-level engineer at Google published an internal memo titled Google's Ideological Echo Chamber.
The document warned the company of ignoring different political opinions.
The man was promptly fired for violating a code of conduct.
Virtually all Americans are appalled by videos depicting neo-Nazis or Louis Farrakow.
hate-filled rants against Jews. They have no place on platforms used by millions of young people.
Everybody knows that. Be warned, it can be a very dangerous path, however, when those decisions
are made by corporate executives or advertising dollars. We have to think about this.
Up next, my message of the day on hypocrisy during the Russia collusion probe.
Hey, Bill O'Reilly here. I'm excited to announce the first
ever cruise through history taking place next spring. The cruise will definitely be different,
great food and activities, of course, but we'll also take you back in time to the foundations
of our faith, our freedom, and human progress. It's the opportunity to share your values,
your beliefs, and the things you hold dear with the ones you hold dear. The cruise will sell
the Mediterranean out of Venice, Italy. There are four different options, but basically
the cruise will begin in Venice, then sail to the eastern Mediterranean, visiting Croatia,
Greece, and Israel. Glenn Beck will be our cruise director. You can walk where Jesus and the
prophets walk in the Holy Land, guided every step of the way. Beck and I will be doing a couple
of shows together, one at sea, the other in Israel. The shows will also feature David Barton,
Rabbi Lapin, and Stu. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Please,

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day. There is a 16th century proverb that says
what's good for the goose is good for the gander. You may have heard it. Basically, that means that
treatment should be similar for people in same circumstances. Yes, there could be a gender thing here
with the Gander reference, but back then, male-female equality wasn't exactly in vogue,
right, Henry VIII? Anyway, I'm wondering. Today, the Goose Thing illustrates that double
standards are unfair and unacceptable, except in American politics and journalism, of course.
For two solid years, the federal government investigated President Trump and his associates.
No geese involved, but Russians were. Bad Russians. Who sat down.
sabotaged Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. And according to CNN and others, Mr. Trump colluded
with those nasty Russians and perhaps even drove them to the airport. But along the way,
investigators found out that some FBI people were not being fair in the probe. In fact,
evidence shows certain agents were out to get Donald Trump. Geese everywhere are appalled by that
allegation and would like to know exactly what happened with the investigation, now that
President Trump has been cleared of any collusion with Russians. So, the president would like to know
and the Attorney General would like to know if FBI agents were in the tank. Therefore,
some of the investigators are now being investigated. Enter the editorial board of the Uber-left
San Francisco Chronicle newspaper, which is objecting finding out if the fix was in during the
Russian collusion probe, even though that paper lustily cheered on the investigation of Mr. Trump.
The Chronicle had a strong suspicion that Trump was guilty of all kinds of things and was not shy
about stating that. But last week, the newspaper suddenly pulled back on its desire to know the
truth about public malfeasance, editorializing, quote, Americans should welcome objective examinations
of law enforcement and intelligence, but Barr's record predicts nothing of the kind.
The Attorney General has signaled enthusiasm for Trump's deceptive and self-serving version of
events by recklessly accusing authorities of spying on his campaign, unquote.
How does the San Francisco Chronicle know the spying assertion is reckless?
Surely the paper understands that FISA warrants were obtained by the FBI using false information
that's been proven, and those warrants were used for surveillance on Trump campaign people.
It seems to me that disqualifying William Barr from overseeing an investigation into possible FBI corruption is kind of reckless itself.
Is it not? Geese in and around the Bay Area know the Chronicle could not care less about
learning the truth about anything that does not fit its ideological agenda. The paper is a political
journal, not a vehicle for honest reporting. For some, that statement may seem, well, a bit reckless,
but it's not. The San Francisco Chronicle can't handle the truth, so it doesn't even bother to seek
it. And that's the O'Reilly Update message of the day for more analysis. Please head on over to Bill
O'Reilly.com this weekend. I think you'll like it. The O'Reilly update will return with something you

Now the O'Reilly Update brings you something you might, not know.
A number of states have recently passed restrictive abortion laws.
Georgia's governor signed new legislation that would ban abortions
after a physician detected fetal heartbeat.
These laws are in response to very liberal abortion laws passed in New York and other places.
The laws have been roundly condemned by advocates on both sides,
with some of the most vocal criticism coming from Hollywood,
which generally favors pro-abortion legislation.
Over the past several weeks, numerous movie stars and film studio heads
have threatened to boycott any state that implement.
implements pro-life laws. Recently, Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger said, it would, quote, be very
difficult for Disney to film projects in Georgia once their new abortion law goes into effect
and Iger doubts they will do so. Well, that stand has angered many Americans. A close look at the
locations Disney chooses to shoot their movie shows that under most circumstances, they have little
regard for the laws of the places where the pictures are filmed. The latest entry into the multi-billion
dollar Star Wars franchise set for release in December was partially filmed in Jordan. In that nation,
women who receive abortions can be punished by up to three years in prison. A doctor who performs the
abortion can get three years in prison as well. Star Wars, The Last Jedi, released in 2017, was filmed
in Bolivia and Croatia. Abortion is totally illegal in Bolivia, and in Croatia, it can only be
performed up to 10 weeks. Star Wars, The Force Awakens, released in 2015, was filmed in Abu Dhabi,
the capital of the United Arab Emirates. In that nation, any person who performs an abortion
is subject to five years in prison. A woman who's found to have undergone the procedure also gets a
year in prison. It's worth noting that homosexuality is outlawed in the Emirates, punishable by up to
14 years in prison. So, don't be fooled by the Hollywood executives. Their threats have little
to do with morality and everything to do with virtue signaling to the American left and their
own performers. In the end, it all comes down to money in Hollywood, doesn't it? Back in a moment.
My friend Glenn Beck launched real estate agents.itrust.com for a very simple reason to help you
sell your home for top dollar as quickly as possible. His team quickly realized there are three
keys to success. One, selling or buying a home is very complicated process and difficult to
navigate. So choose agents with a long track record of success. No part-time or inexperienced agents
in their network. Two, market value for your home cannot be calculated using computer models.
It takes years of expertise to evaluate your market and to price your home to sell quickly for
top dollar. Beck's agents are experts in your neighborhood. And three, home sellers most
genuinely like the agent, they choose to trust their home too. That's why we select agents who
are fans like you. They do business like you, and they share your value. Real estate
