Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thanks, Bill. Here's what's happening this week in America.
Right to jail.
Russian hoax, Starship Rocket, and D-Day Veterans.
That's all coming up then. Bill is going to be here with your message of the day before
Steve Bannon has been ordered to report to prison by July 1st to serve time for contempt of Congress
after he failed to provide documents to a House Select Committee investigating January 6th.
He was sentenced to four months in prison.
Steve Bannon said, there's nothing that can shut me up and nothing that will shut me up.
There's not a prison built or a jail built that will ever shut me up.
we're going to win at the Supreme Court.
Speaking of contempt of Congress,
Hunter Biden's brother's widow
and his former lover,
so bizarre, who also smoked crack with Hunter
and who threw the gun in question
with this court case
in a dumpster behind a grocery store
back in 2018,
which was then covered up by the Secret Service,
she said Hunter smoked crack every 20 minutes
during this period of his life.
But the big moment of the trial yesterday
was the FBI testified that this is in fact his laptop,
which the media spent years
telling us was a Russian hoax.
It was not.
SpaceX just launched the massive starship rocket yesterday outside Brownsville, Texas.
Largest, most powerful rocket ever flown.
It is 400 feet tall.
It's a 40-story building.
It's been 40 minutes in orbit.
This is the fourth attempt for a successful mission.
The first two ended in explosions.
The third flight launched, but then broke apart during landing.
This one made it the entire journey.
called it an epic achievement.
The ultimate goal?
Mars.
Of course, yesterday was the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
By the way, Google, you know, their Google-Doodle, they do every day.
Yesterday was of Janine Cordova, an American Trailblazer, LGBTQ, activist, author.
What?
Nothing about D-Day, but anyway.
On the way to the ceremony, a 102-year-old Navy veteran passed away.
Robert Persichiti served in the Pacific as a radio man aboard the USS El Dorado,
served in Iwojima, Okinawa, and Guam.
He got sick during a stop in Germany on the way to Normandy.
A friend who was traveling with him said that he passed away comfortably,
and he said, I put on his favorite singer, Frank Sinatra, as he peacefully left us.
How can we thank our World War II veterans enough?
I'm Mike Slater from the podcast, Politics by Faith Bill O'Reilly, with your message today.
Next.
Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress.
National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets.
And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
It was interesting to see First Lady Jill Biden say the upcoming presidential vote is about good and evil,
and of course, her husband represents good.
Mrs. Biden firmly believes that, not because she has evidence on the subjective state,
but because she derives personal benefit from believing it.
So allow me to point out a great evil
that both Bidens embrace late-term abortion.
China, Russia, Canada, and Spain
all support no restrictions on destroying the fetus.
In the United States, most places do have protections
after fetal viability.
But President Biden opposes any constraints
constraints whatsoever. Evil? I think so. In order to terminate a pregnancy after 24 weeks,
the fetus must be disassembled in the womb using sharp instruments. The fetus feels pain.
The gruesome practice can be justified if the mother's life is in danger or there is
catastrophic damage to the fetus itself. Absent that, it should not be accepted in any
moral society. A few months ago, Sean Hannity asked California Governor Gavin Newsom if he supports
any restrictions on abortion. Newsom dance, but finally admitted he does not. Eight states now allow
abortion at any time for any reason. It goes against Christian doctrine to individually judge
the Bidens and Kamala Harris, for that matter, on abortion procedures. No Bill Clinton pronouncement
that abortion should be rare for them.
And on the evil front, I can say this.
If there is a judgment day, I wouldn't want to be those people.
I'm Bill O'Reilly.
I approve the message by writing it.

Let's go to the mail.
We got Chris Hines in Keller, Texas.
Bill, you're right.
You said Joe Biden should pardon Trump on front.
Friday, when I heard you say that, I was taken aback, but in a good way.
If Biden put America first, he would change the narrative, perhaps went over undecided voters.
Yeah, I mean, it would be to Biden's favor, and then he could pardon Hunter.
Mike Murray, Dallas, Oregon, outside of Portland, Bill, last thing Biden wants to do is pardon
Trump, and the last thing Trump wants is a pardon from Biden.
That's probably true.
But what does it matter?
shouldn't we be put in the country first trying to tamp down a hatred
Marty Meyer, Santa Rosa, California
What Trump needs is a better legal team
They all talk promising changes
Michael Cohen is the monster
Donald Trump created
I think that's right
Absolutely
Joshua Gervin

Respectfully can Joe Biden pardon Donald Trump for conviction
If it takes place under
state law. No. And that's why we said the Governor Hockel of New York would have to join
President Biden in the pardons, which she absolutely would. Not going to go up against Biden.
Charlotte Levina, Georgetown, Texas. Bill, your excellent reporting on the Trump conviction
calm me down. After hearing the news, it was a gut punch. I felt hopeless. Thank you for
give me hope that all is not lost.
All is not lost.
Okay, we're a resilient country.

Paul Revere gets a lot of glory and credit for his famous Midnight Ride.
Almost everybody's heard of Paul Revere.
But there was another midnight ride that no one knows about.
and it saved the life of Thomas Jefferson at the height of the Revolutionary War.
Here is the unknown story of Jack Jewett.
A southern farmer, he joined the Virginia Milit,
shortly after the British marched on Massachusetts.
On the evening of June 3rd, 1781,
the 27-year-old was drinking at a Virginia tavern
when he noticed an English lieutenant at the bar.
Jack wandered around back, where he spotted 250 Red Coast resting.
After eavesdropping on the troops, Jack discovered their plan.
The British were to march on Charlottesville and arrest Thomas Jefferson, then the governor of Virginia.
Jewett left the tavern at midnight riding 40 miles on horseback to Jefferson's home in Monticello.
Later that same day, Jefferson, after getting the warning, rode to safety, narrowly missing the arrival of the enemy troops.
Thomas Jefferson's critics accused him of desertion, the General Assembly.
of Virginia later absolved him of any wrongdoing.
In 1801, he became America's third president.
The charge of desertion bothered Jefferson
for the rest of his life.
As for Jack Jewett, he went on to serve
in the general assemblies of both Kentucky and Virginia.
Lawmakers awarded him an honorary sword and pistol
for his heroic midnight ride.
And here's something else you might not know.
Jefferson wasn't the only founding five
to escape the Red Coast on that night.
Jack's warning saved the lives of Patrick Henry,
John Tyler Sr., and other Virginia politicians.
Jewett's actions played a significant role in a Patriot's victory
during the Revolutionary War,
but he never got any credit.
Have you ever heard of Jack Jewett?
Now you have.
