Getting ready for a game means being ready for anything.
Like packing a spare stick.
I like to be prepared.
That's why I remember, 988, Canada's suicide crisis helpline.
It's good to know, just in case.
Anyone can call or text for free confidential support from a train responder anytime.
988 suicide crisis helpline is funded by the government in Canada.
Bill O'Reilly here.
You are listening to the O'Reilly Update.
Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill.
It is Friday, March 13th, 2026.
Here's what's happening today in America.
Muslim terrorist attack.
Another Muslim terrorist attack.
Senate passes Road Act and World Baseball Classic
quarter finals tonight.
It's all coming up and Bill's going to be here
with your message of the day.
But first, the suspect is dead after ramming his vehicle
in a Detroit area synagogue.
The suspect who's believed to have had a rifle
died after a shootout with security at the temple.
Nobody inside the synagogue was hurt,
as they noted that all 140 students
as well as staff teachers and their heroic security personnel were accounted for.
The driver of the vehicle was Iman Mohamed Ghazali, a naturalized U.S. citizen from Lebanon,
naturalized back in 2016.
In similar news, also yesterday, a murderer went to Old Dominion University in Virginia and started shooting.
He is 36-year-old Mohamed Belor Jala.
This guy was previously arrested back in 2016 for attempting to provide material support
to ISIS. He was convicted and sentenced to 11 years in prison. He was released two years ago.
He's a naturalized U.S. citizen from Sierra Leone. The FBI said he yelled al-Ahaqbar before his attack.
He entered a classroom and asked if it was an ROTC class. When the class said yes, he started
shooting. He shot the instructor before being killed by ROTC students. I like forward to hearing
more details on that and how they killed him. He ended up murdering the instructor. Lieutenant
Colonel Brandon Shah, who is a veteran of Iraqi freedom and during freedom at Atlantic
Resolve.
So to be clear, the Austin murderer on March 1st was a naturalized citizen from Senegal.
The Old Dominion University murderer was a naturalized citizen from Sierra Leone.
The New York City bombers the other day were both children of naturalized citizens
from one set was from Turkey, the other from Afghanistan, and the Michigan synagogue attacker
is a naturalized U.S. citizen from Lebanon.
One could say we have a legal immigration problem in America.
The Senate passed a bill 89 to 10 from Republican Tim Scott that increases housing supply in America.
Makes it easier for communities to make zoning changes in ADU allowances and reduced parking mandates.
Cuts down on regulations for manufactured home, red tape for Section 8 housing.
Also mortgage reform for loans under $100,000 in low-cost markets.
There's a ton in this bill.
It's called the Road to Housing Act.
Road is an acronym for reducing obstacles and achieving development.
The World Baseball Classic is underway.
Team USA.
3 and 1 in the group stage before their last.
lost to Italy, the manager said, I thought that they had an automatic advancement to the next round.
They didn't. They ended up losing and they needed help. Unfortunately, they got it, so they will advance.
Facing Canada tonight, 8 o'clock Eastern in Houston. There is a world baseball classic game today and every day until the finals on Tuesday, March 17th in Miami.

Mexico is not a friend to the United States.
Its government has been corrupt for decades and that has led to the rise in murder and international
drug trafficking all throughout that country.
That is not an opinion.
It's a fact.
The current president of Mexico, Socialist Claudia Scheinbaum, is under heavy pressure from
the Trump administration to allow American assets to help eradicate the incredible
vicious drug cartels. Ms. Scheinbaum has initiated a few arrests, but will not allow U.S.
authorities inside her country when she could easily do so. Instead, she blames American
drug addicts and smuggled weaponry for Mexico's problem, an absurd argument. The cartels have
murdered more than a million of Scheinbaum's people over a decade. Stop.
making excuses, Madam. It is true that Americans who buy illegal narcotics are part of the problem.
No question. These are selfish individuals who enable murder, bad Americans. But it is Shinebaum herself,
who is the primary problem. Summon up some courage, Madam President, do the right thing.
Those cartels should be destroyed.

Now let's go to the mail. Riley, I'm a big fan in the No Spins Zone. I've been listening
since I was young with my dad. I don't believe the war will be a positive for the USA.
I want to believe that President Trump has our best interests of mine, but it seems like
getting duped to the weapons of mass destruction argument again.
No, they have weapons of mass destruction, Roel.
I mean, it's not like Saddam.
We know where they are.
We've destroyed some of them.
They admit they have them.
They're there.
Patricia.

Not know.
Ninety-two years ago today, a gang of outlaws robbed the first National Bank in Mason City, Iowa.
The outfit was led by notorious killer John Dillinger and his accomplice, Babyface Nelson.
Here is the story.
At the age of 21, young Dillinger was sentenced to 10 years in prison for theft.
While incarcerated, he befriended a group of professional bank robbers who taught him the trade.
In May, 1933, during the Depression, John Dillinger was parole.
He was arrested again, but escaped prison using a fake gun.
The fugitive then teamed up with a violent misfit named Lester Joseph Gillis,
better known as Babyface.
For the next few months, Dillinger and Nelson terrorized the Midwest.
On March 13, 1934, the outfit entered the First National Bank in Iowa,
using customers as human shields, the gang made off with $52,000.
That's $1.2 million in today's currency.
The well-dressed Dillinger became a national celebrity.
Like Bonnie and Clyde, some Americans viewed him as a modern-day Robin Hood.
He was captured the following January in Arizona, but escaped again.
On July 22nd, 1934, the FBI surrounded Dillinger in Chicago as he watched a movie.
At 10.40 p.m., the fugitive emerged from the theater.
He was ordered to surrender, but allegedly took off running.
20 FBI agents opened fire, killing public enemy number one.
John Dillinger was just 31 years old.
Four months later, Nelson was gunned down in a shootout with federal agents.
In total, Dillinger and Nelson murdered at least 20 people, including three federal agents.
In 1934, marked the end of America's notorious bank robbers and the rise of FBI director Jay Edgar Hoover.
