President Trump extends social distancing guidelines to the end of April. Mr. Trump and Mr. Biden now tied in a poll. Secretary of the Treasury says checks will arrive in three weeks to Americans. Hundreds of police in New York City test positive. for the virus? Florida halts vacation rentals. Also ahead, who's to blame for the contagion? But first, the White House says social distancing rules will rule until April 30th. President Trump telling a report is the guidelines will slow the disease. Experts at the CDC predict the death rate will peak in the USA in less than two weeks. The disease has

has already killed at least 2,500 people here since February. New poll shows the president and Joe Biden tied as the country focuses on the virus crisis. The survey from the Washington Post has Donald Trump trailing the former VP by two points. The same poll had the president seven points behind Biden less than two months ago. A majority of Americans back Mr. Trump on the economy, Mr. Biden on health care. One footnote, polls this early mean little. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin says, Americans will receive $1,200 checks within three weeks.

The White House fast-tracking legislation to help those struggling during the virus. Every person earning less than $75,000 a year is eligible for the payment. Also, if you have kids, you get $500 a piece. for them. At least 700 police officers in New York City have tested positive for the contagion. There are now 35,000 cases of the disease in the city. About 700 people are dead. The virus has killed three members of the NYPD, most recently 23-year-old veteran of the force, Detective Cedric Dixon. The state of Florida instituting new rules to help stop the contagion. Governor DeSantis ordering all New Yorkers, Jerseyites, and residents of Louisiana to

isolate themselves for 14 days when traveling to the Sunshine State. DeSanta is also freezing vacation rentals on apartments and homes for two weeks. In a moment, the plague blame game. My name of us love the blame game. And the truth here is that fools, and I use that word literally fools in China who ate horseshoe bats cause the pandemic. Then, the despicable Chinese government did not warn the world quickly enough. Here in the USA, the media, as usual, is trying to assign blame for political reasons. New York Times writer Catherine Stewart blames religion. Quote, the religious rights, hostility to science, is crippling our coronavirus response.

President Trump's response to the pandemic has been haunted by the science denialism of his ultra-conservative religious allies, unquote. Of course, the far-left steward ties it all in with climate change. Well, this is insane. What editor would print that kind of an article? the religious rites hostility to science? Everybody who's a conservative and a believer is hostile to science? It's amazing. Joe Biden blames President Trump. Of course he does. Quote, as I pointed out yesterday, the coronavirus is not his fault, but, but the lack of speed and alacrity with which to respond to it has to move much faster, unquote. But the former VP is on record as opposing President Trump's stop flight order from China on January 31st. So Joe Biden's credibility can be challenged.

Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, also blaming Donald Trump. Quote, we should be taking every precaution what the president, his denial at the beginning, was deadly. I don't know what the scientist said to him. did this president know about this? And what did he know? What did he know? And when did he know it? That's for an after-action review. But as the president, Fiddles, people are dying, unquote, from Nancy Pelosi. Fiddles? Come on, you may oppose the administration, but it's trying to defeat this thing. Back to the media. NBC's Chuck Todd, of course. blaming Donald Trump, quote, do you think there is blood on the president's hands considering the

slow response? Or is that too harsh of a criticism? Unquote. No, Chuck. Blood on his hands? Not too harsh? Of course not. Mr. Todd is one of the legion of media people who are ideologues, posing as journalists. Harsh? Well, you can decide if my criticism is harsh. But what I can tell you is that China is to blame for the contagion because it did not mobilize quick enough. And the idiots who eat bats are ground zero. The league refusing to release the names of all NBA infected players, but insiders say more than 25 have the disease. New York Knicks owner James Dolan also in isolation with the illness. Japan officially delayed the 2020 Summer Olympics, as we reported, and Prime Minister Abbe
