Bill O'Reilly here.
You are listening to the O'Reilly update.
Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill.
It's Monday, March 4th, 2024.
Here's what's happening today in America.
Biden's sinking.
Ship sunk.
D.E.I sunk and records sunk.
A lot of sinking going on.
That's all coming up.
The bill's going to be here with your message of the day.
But first, newest New York Time polls, Trump v. Biden.
Trump is up over Biden by five.
Most notably, among women, it's a tie.
Speaking of women, there's still a primary happening.
Super Tuesday is tomorrow.
We got Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, and American Samoa.
All voting tomorrow.
Nikki Haley, she had to take a pledge in order to go to the debate stage saying that she will support the eventual nominee.
But she says she is no longer bound by that pledge because, quote, the R&C is now not the same R&C.
and sea. The Houthis are still attacking ships in the Red Sea. They have their first major
ship sunk. The ship happened to be carrying 21,000 metric tons of ammonium phosphate sulfate
fertilizer. That's not going to be good for the environment. Also not safe for other ships
passing by. The state of Florida has eliminated all diversity, equity, and inclusion,
DEI positions from all their state colleges and universities.
A memo was sent out among the schools,
citing a recent ban on the use of public funds for diversity, equity, inclusion programs,
activities and policies, as well as activities for political or social activism in the public college system.
So you wonder, what is DEI exactly?
It's any program, campus activity, or policy that classifies individuals on the basis of race,
color, sex, national origin, gender identity, or sexual orientation,
and promotes differential or preferential treatment of individuals on the basis of such classification.
So racism.
It outlaws racism.
Any employee in a DEI department has been fired given 12 weeks severance.
Now, in the state of Texas, they passed a similar ban, but in Texas, what many of the state schools did there was just changed the name from the office of DEI to the Center for Student Advocacy and Belonging.
We'll see if Texas follows the path of Florida, which just fires them all.
We got two basketball scoring records.
LeBron James, the first player in NBA history, to hit 40,000 points.
Last year, he passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, 38,387 point record.
And in college basketball, Iowa's Caitlin Clark became the all-time NC2A scoring leader.
She wrote Pete Marevich's 54-year-old record of 3,667 points in a career.
One minor difference, Marevich averaged 44 points a game.
Clark averaged 28.
Her highest ever was 49.
O'Marevich did it with no three point line and no shot clock. I'm Mike Slater. The Great Bill
O'Reilly has your message of the day. Next. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On this Monday, here's a provocative question for every parent and grandparent.
the United States of America. And I want you to answer this honestly with no political bent,
okay? Ready for the question? Here it is. Has Joe Biden enabled his son Hunter to do questionable
things? Do you think he's enabled? I do. I think Joe Biden was an indulgent father?
I don't think he supervised Hunter Biden to any great extent.
I think he allowed his position as vice president to be used by Hunter and his brother Jim to amass tens of millions of dollars.
That is what I believe because that is what the evidence says.
Now, Hunter Biden says, no, my father didn't have anything to do with it.
Joe Biden says, oh, I didn't know anything about it.
even though Hunter was on, what, 10, 12 Air Force two flights?
So, yeah, all right, you see in the world, that's all right.
You can do that if you're a president.
But then he takes meetings with all these people, and then the money flows in.
And, aye, aye, aye.
But anyway, I'm making a judgment here.
And in this country, oh, you're not supposed to do that.
I think Joe Biden enabled Hunter Biden.
I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me. Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com. Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com. Name in town if you wish to opine. Now let's go to the mail.
Carl Jemitt, Wallingford, Vermont. Bill, you rightly hold Biden accountable for the death of Lakin Riley. But doesn't Mitch McConnell also have blood on his hands for rejecting Kate's law several years ago? That would have saved Lakin's life. No, it wouldn't have. Because the guy,
who killed Lake and Riley wasn't deported and came back. He just waltzed on in. Nobody stopped
them. They let him go, unsupervised. Kate's law would have said, you're deported. You're a foreign
national deported. You come back, five years minimum. First offense, 10 years, second offense.
Now, is there blood on McConnell's hands for killing that bill? You could make a case for it.
you could absolutely because her deportations it's a joke now it is a joke thank you Mitch
see you later Carol concierge member Mitch McConnell's legacy will be that he participated in
establishing the largest debt in American history considering he entered the Senate of the
fiscal conservative shame on him go along go along go along Dennis Christ wala walla
Washington Democrats are talking about abortion this year
I was under the impression of the Supreme Court have settled that.
No, they didn't settle it.
They just kicked it back to the states.
So the Democrat propaganda is that all Republicans want to ban abortion.
That's what you're going to hear.
That's not true.
But the states now are in charge of how long a pregnancy is viable.
And once it's viable, you can't abort it.
You can't abort the fetus.
Each state makes its determination.
Here in New York, you can kill a fetus right up to birth, 10 minutes before.
Nobody going to do anything to it.
California, Illinois, Massachusetts.
In a moment, something you might not know.

Now the O'Reilly Update breaches something you might not know.
71 years ago today, one of the most brutal leaders in world history, Dodd in Moscow.
His demise ended a terrible reign that began three decades earlier.
Here is the story of Joseph Stalin.
Born 1878, young Joseph originally wanted to become an Orthodox priest.
While studying at a seminary, he secretly was reading the teachings of Karl Marx.
Well, Stalin was quickly radicalized and became a revolutionary under the tutelage of Vladimir Lenin.
The so-called man of steel seized control of the USSR after Lenin's death in 1924.
Stalin ruled the Soviet Union with absolute power.
He annexed Poland, Romania, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, among others.
Following Germany's surrender in World War II, Moscow controlled all of Eastern Europe.
Stalin did not mellow with age.
He pursued a reign of terror, purges, executions, exile,
house to gulags for almost any reason. On March 5th, 1953, Stalin died from a massive brain
hemorrhage. He was 74. His personal doctors were so terrified of political retribution by
announcing his death that they tried to keep him alive any means possible, even applying
leeches to his neck. They were unsuccessful.
The Soviet Union held a four-day funeral for Joe.
The procession was so crowded that thousands of supporters have trampled to death while trying to view the coffin.
And here's something else you might not know.
Joseph Stalin remains popular in Russia to this day.
A recent survey from the Moscow Times found 60% of Russians view the dictator as a great leader for whom respect is growing, unquote.
Well, the so-called great leader is also one of the biggest mass murderers in history.
Stalin's communist policies are directly responsible for the deaths of 60 million human beings.
That's four times more than Adolf Hitler.
Back after this.
Power, politics, and the people behind the headlines.
