Bill O'Reilly here.
You are listening to the O'Reilly Update.
Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill.
It is Thursday, May 11th, 2023.
Here's what's happening today in America.
The Biden Crime Family.
Title 42 ends tonight at midnight.
Will California apologize?
And Biden claims that the Republicans are going to cut veterans spending.
That's all coming up.
And then Bill will be here with your message of the day.
First, the House Oversight Chairman, Congressman James Comer from Kentucky, laid out details that claims members of Joe Biden's family, including his son, Hunter, of course, received millions of dollars in payments from foreign entities in China and Romania, even when Joe Biden was still the vice president.
They even have bank records to connect the dots.
Even Hunter himself admits that he knows nothing about natural gas, yet still he was on the board of a natural gas company, Brisbane.
in Ukraine, and he admitted that he would not be on that board if his dad were not vice president.
Burisma paid Hunter a million dollars a year, but they cut his compensation in half two months
after Joe Biden was no longer the vice president.
Title 42 latest one department of Homeland Security officials said, we are already breaking
and we haven't hit the starting line.
More than 11,000 illegal immigrants were caught crossing the southern border on Tuesday alone.
The Biden administration has prepared a memo that.
that will direct custom and border protection
to release illegal immigrants into the United States
without court dates or the ability to track them.
So from March 2021 until today,
when someone comes in there seeking asylum,
which by the way,
if they ever went in front of a judge,
they would never get asylum granted to them.
But we would release them,
but they have to download this app called alternatives to detention
and they have to check in now and again
until their court date.
But now we're too overwhelmed.
So forget the app.
You're free to go.
we'll figure it out later. Department of Homeland Security expected 10,000 people a day were
already at 11,000 and Title 42 hasn't even been lifted yet. The governor of California,
Gavin Newsom said that the idea of giving millions of dollars to black Californians for reparations
is even too crazy for him. But the activists want more than money. They want a guaranteed minimum
income, which has always been their main ask. They want an automatic 700 credit score and they want
California to issue a formal apology because of something Governor Ronald Reagan said.
Reagan used the term welfare queen.
Debt ceiling update.
Get ready for all the emotional blackmail, widows, orphans, and veterans.
Biden says this bill will cut 22% of veterans benefits, but the Republican leader Kevin
McCarthy says it just puts veterans spending back to what it was four months ago.
Bill will be here with your message to the day.
Next.
Power, politics.
and the people behind the headlines.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On this Thursday, the civil case against Donald Trump was a challenge from the beginning,
since no human being on earth knows what actually happened between the plaintiff, E. Jean Carroll,
and the defendant, Donald Trump.
it is impossible to analyze the situation in a fair way.
Ms. Carroll's legal fees, at least some of them, were paid by a man who despises the former president.
So there is a political component here.
The judge allowed anti-Trump testimony from individuals who had nothing to do with the allegations.
The New York jury acquitted Trump of rape, but unanimously decided he was guilty of lesser charges.
There was no criminal action.
Lawyers for Ms. Carroll will likely take a third of the $5 million judgment and use the case
to solicit more work in this area.
That's how the game is played.
Donald Trump, however, can delay payment, as he says he will appeal.
Politically, the case is not likely to damage Trump as folks are numb to accusations against him.
So many, no one can even remember them.
His base is fiercely loyal to him.
And remember that Bill Clinton survived Paula Jones' accusations, which mirrored those of E. Jean Carroll.
So it is undeniable that Donald Trump has lost again, but I don't think he's going to suffer.
I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me.

Now let's go to the mail.
Melissa P., Wichita Falls, Texas. Bill, you're exactly right about the Dems thinking immorally superior.
I do not think this is any different than white supremacists who think they are better than other races.
No, it's the same. It's the same mentality. We're,
We're better. You're lesser. So it's a good point. But there aren't very many white supremacists. As far as I can see, Ron Janofsky, Lowell, Michigan. Bill, you say the left acts out of a sense of superiority. But how can a sense of superiority explain the huge damage being done to the country? They don't see it that way. Ron, you've got to understand that people don't see it that way. They think Biden, 36 percent of them doing a hell of a job. They just don't see it.
Brian Galiccio, New Brontfels, Texas in the Hill Country.
Hey, Bill, I'm not sure why Kate's law cannot be reintroduced in Congress.
It can be, but with a Democratic Senate, you're never going to get it passed.
So maybe Ted Cruz, maybe you write him a letter.
You're one of his constituents.
You say, look, if the Republicans take back Congress and have a president as Republican, let's do case law again.
Remember, it was Cruz who wrote it up.
cruising corn it in your state they could do it again but not with the democrats control in the
senate never get through alice killing the mob illustrates the corruption in america that's why
china loves it so we yeah we said yesterday killing the mob is now on sale in china
killing the mob actually makes america look good because our justice system dissembled
the mafia it still exists but not like it

Now, the O'Reilly Update brings you something you might not know.
34 years ago this week, a presidential election in Latin America was nullified by
military dictator Manuel Noriega.
Seven months later, thousands of U.S. troops were fighting in Panama.
Here is the story.
During the 1970s, Noriega was a rising figure in the Panamanian military.
He was recruited by the CIA to help slow the spread of communism in Central America.
With Washington's blessing, Noriega served as head of the country's intelligence agency,
and assumed total control after the Panamanian president died in a mysterious plane crash.
Over the next few years, the dictator became heavily involved in trafficking narcotics.
The U.S. government disowned Noriega in 1988 after he was indicted by grand juries in Tampa and Miami
for drug smuggling and money laundering. In May, 1989, the dictator nullifers,
nullified Panama's presidential election when his political opponent won a clear majority.
President George Bush the Elder ordered troops to the Panama Canal. On December 16th,
an off-duty U.S. Marine was shot to death at a security checkpoint by pro-Noriega forces.
The next day, Bush authorized Operation Just Cause, a U.S. invasion.
invasion of Panama to overthrow the Noriega government.
Twenty thousand American troops descended on Panama.
On January 3rd, Noriega was arrested by the Drug Enforcement Agency and taken to Florida.
The brief conflict caused the lives of 23 U.S. soldiers and three American civilians.
In 1992, Noriega was found guilty on eight counts of drug trafficking, racketeering, and
money laundering, marking the first time in history that a U.S. jury convicted a foreign leader
of criminal charges. He was sentenced to 40 years in a U.S. federal prison. Eventually, Noriega
was extradited back to Panama, where he died from a brain tumor in 2017 at the age of 83.
Back after this.
