Starting point is 00:00:45 U.S.-S.-Saudi investment forum, judges' decisions, six illegals arrested, and Pete Rose's ban lifted. That's all coming up, then Bill's going to be here with your message of the day. But first, the U.S. and Saudi Arabia signed a $142 billion. arms deal. In addition to the purchase of this American-made military equipment, President Trump said there are multi-billion dollar commercial deals with Amazon, Oracle, AMD, Uber, Qualcomm, Johnson, and Johnson, and many, many more. The president estimated that in total, this trip to the Middle East will secure $1 trillion in additional investments in the United States and with American companies. I have three judge stories. First, the Wisconsin judge who distracted
Starting point is 00:01:26 ICE agents and then scurried an illegal alien in her courtroom out a jury door so he could run away from the ICE agents. He didn't get far before they ran after and caught him. But that judge in Wisconsin was now indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of concealing a person from arrest and obstruction of proceedings. In other judge news, a federal judge in Pennsylvania ruled that the Trump administration is within their legal authority to use the Enemy Aliens Act of 1798 to deport Trenda Arago gang members. And finally, a judge in LA reduced the Menendez brothers' murder sentences. They were sentenced to life without parole, and now it's 50 years to life, which means
Starting point is 00:02:02 even though they've served 35 years, they're now eligible for parole because they murdered their parents when they were under the age of 26. The judge says, I'm not saying they should be released. It's not for me to decide. I do believe they've done enough in the past 35 years. They should get that chance. Landcaster, South Carolina, six illegal aliens, between the ages of 13 and 21 were charged with murder of a 40-year-old mother who was driving to meet some friends.
Starting point is 00:02:28 Larisha Shirel Thomas was the victim. The illegals pulled alongside her car and started shooting a gun at her. They killed her right there. The car was locked, so they didn't even break in and steal anything, but that was the goal. The sheriff said this shooting defies any sense of decency in a civilized society. Major League Baseball has reinstated Pete Rose and shoeless Joe Jackson, among others, from the permanently ineligible list for the Hall of Fame. The current MLB commissioner said,
Starting point is 00:02:55 obviously a person no longer with us cannot represent a threat to the integrity of the game. Moreover, it's hard to conceive of a penalty that is more deterred effect than one that lasts the lifetime with no reprieve. Therefore, I've concluded that permanent ineligibility ends with the passing of a disciplined individual. Rose was deemed and eligible for the Hall of Fame in 1989. Shoeless Joe Jackson was banned from baseball in 1921, along
Starting point is 00:03:20 with seven other members of the Chicago White Sox for fixing the 1919 World Series. The great Bill O'Reilly has your message of the day. Next. Oh, tasty high note. Oh, hi, don't mind me. I'm practicing my new baritone sacks. I just heard PayPal's

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day. On this Wednesday, here's proof the
Starting point is 00:04:06 Democrats remain bewildered, stuck in a time warp, too dense for even the right? Rocky Horror pictures show to consider. After President Trump announced his executive order to install lower prices on Medicare drugs, the Dems should have raised a collective glass in approval. Of course, the party did not, as anti-Trump zealots descended into a myriad of gibberish zones on television. It was another sad spectacle. Once upon a time, Democrats actually wanted to help the folks. Lower costs for federal medicines obviously makes the lives of senior citizens better. Joe Biden could have done that, but he did not. And the Democratic leadership did not push him to do it. So why not? I don't know for sure, but I suspect taking on the powerful pharmaceutical industry
Starting point is 00:05:04 was simply too much for the party. In fact, other than massive and unending guns, spending, the Democrats don't seem to have anything else in the playbook. Mr. Biden didn't even try to negotiate the cost of military trans treatments down. 52 million a year on trans treatments in the armed forces and all the bud light you want, I guess. It was insane. Monday was a good day for Trump and another bad day for his opposition. That on sank a number of three-point shots. The other side didn't even get off the bench. I'm Bill O'Reilly.
Starting point is 00:05:51 I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me. Bill at bill o'Reilly.com. Bill at bill o'Reilly.com. Name in town, if you wish to opine. Let's go to the mail. We got Todd Marble. It's connected to New York.
Starting point is 00:06:04 I'm guessing you'll be discussing the plane situation. everyone seems to be losing their minds. What is the difference between this and France gifting the USA, the Statue of Liberty? Come on, Todd, is a big difference. So the plain benefits the President of the United States and his administration. Statue of Liberty was just a symbolic, very nice gesture by France, but it's not in the same category. Patrick, on a message board's Bill, you have been to continue to be spot on with regards to what's unfolding in the Trump presidency. See, many who do not support him, still don't understand him.
Starting point is 00:06:39 Ones who hate him don't care to understand. That is absolutely true. If he pulls this economic thing off, he'll go down as one of the most successful presidents in history. I agree. So Donald Trump, if he gets what he wants for prosperous America, he'll be right in the Reagan category, despite all the other stuff. Jacqueline, message, Boyd, I'm confused regarding U.S. drug prices being higher than Europe. You said this is because of tariffs.
Starting point is 00:07:09 But if these drugs are manufactured in the USA, they should be cheaper here. No. Because the drug companies can't get into Germany or Italy or any of the EU countries or other countries around the world unless they agree to a certain price for a certain drug. So Germany says, well, take it. You're not going to be able to sell your drug here. So the U.S. drug companies go, all right, we'll charge this, which is much lower than here because here they make up the money because they can charge whatever they want. Here, see, that's why we pay the higher drug price.

Now the O'Reilly update brings to something you might, not know. 147 years ago today, a man in eastern Massachusetts was accused of conspiring with the devil. His criminal prosecution would be the final chapter of America's darkest saga. Here is the story behind the last witch trial in the United States. The whole affair began in early 1878. In the small town of Ipswich near Salem, there was a conflict between,
Starting point is 00:08:55 two followers of the Christian science religion. That group shun modern medicine believing all healing could only be achieved through prayer. Fifty-year-old Lucretia Brown brought the accusation against Daniel Spoffer, a fellow member of the Christian Science faith. She said he used the art and the power of his mind to injure her spine. That rhymes. Well, the trial began on May 14th, 1878. The case garnered widespread attention from the media because of the original Salem witch
Starting point is 00:09:37 trials in the 17th century. Despite this new worldwide spectacle, the trial was nothing more than a few boring legal procedures. In fact, the accused man never even showed up in court. The judge ultimately dismissed the case. arguing the complaint was, quote, frame without basic knowledge, unquote. I guess they could not subpoena the devil. The court also dismissed that it had any jurisdiction over allegations of sorcery and Satan worship.
Starting point is 00:10:16 The woman actually appealed the case, but got nowhere. Both parties were publicly ridiculed as superstitious. and unsophisticated. It was the last time a person was accused and tried for witchcraft in America. Ms. Brown died in 1929 at the age of 76. The alleged sorcerer, Mr. Spofford, died one year later. He was 82 years old.
