Bill O'Reilly here Friday, May 21st, 2021. You are listening to the O'Reilly Update. Here's what's happening
this week in America. First up, New York Attorney General, Letitia James, confirming her office
is investigating Donald Trump's business, the Trump Organization, for alleged criminal activity.
Ms. James, joining forces with Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance,
who has been conducting a separate inquiry into Mr. Trump's business.
Both Vance and Ms. James are partisan Democrats who despise Donald Trump.
They've said so publicly.
Well, the former president reacted to the probes on his personal web page, writing, quote,
There is nothing more corrupt than an investigation that is in desperate search of a crime.
But make no mistake.
That is exactly what's happening here.
This is something that happens in failed third world countries, not the United States, unquote.
Next up, our country slowly getting back to normal as the vaccine defeats the virus.
Millions of Americans removing the face mask for the first time in months.
New CDC guidelines say the vaxed can ditch the coverings, both indoors and outdoors.
most states now dropping mandates to comply with the CDC recommendation.
But some places not adopting the recommendation.
Chicago Mayor Lightfoot rejecting the guidelines from the CDC saying everyone including the
inoculated must continue wearing the mask when leaving their homes.
Ms. Lightfoot is a loon with all due respect.
Folks in California also will have to hold out a little longer.
Governor Newsom mandating face coverings until June 15th.
Small business owners not happy.
And Mr. Newsom will be the subject of a recall vote later this year.
Finally, the Supreme Court agreeing to hear the first major challenge to abortion in years,
the justices will decide whether states can pass laws that place limits on abortion.
The case in question comes from Mississippi, after lawmakers there, place restrictions on abortions
after a pregnancy passes 15 weeks. Texas Governor Abbott signing a similar law this week
that bans abortion after six weeks. Opponents of that say many women are unaware of their own
pregnancies for the first four weeks. We'll see what happens in the Supreme Court.
moment, listeners sound off. Right back with that. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under
stress. National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets. And meanwhile, China is dumping the

Time now for the O'Reilly update message of the day.
Listeners sound off.
We do this each Friday.
And you can reach me, Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com.
Bill at Bill O'Reilly.com. Name in town, if you wish to opine. First up, Dr. Paul Bephenis,
Singer Island, Florida, nice place. O'Reilly, I'm sure that millions of Biden voters are experiencing
buyer's remorse. Beside a House impeachment vote and a Senate conviction, are there any other
legal means to remove a president as well as a vice president from office? The answer is yes.
25th Amendment says if a president or vice president is deemed incapacitated, and there would have to be
hearings and medical examinations and all of that, that if Congress decides they're incapacitated,
based on testimony, the president and or VP could be removed from office.
I write about that in my book, Killing Reagan.
Hey, Bill, this comes from Dana Noble in Raymore, Missouri.
Just have to laugh when you list all of President Biden's daily activities.
Here's my question.
Does the president ever stay at the White House over the weekend?
It seems he's always going home to Delaware.
Well, yeah, I'm sure he has stayed at the White House and Camp David in Maryland.
But Mr. Biden has commuted from D.C. to Delaware for almost four,
40 years, and he's going to continue to do that.
He's a nifty little beach house in Rojobith.
If I were him, I'd do the same thing.
You need a little break.
You need to clear your head.
But Joe Biden's daily schedule, we give it every night on bill o'Reilly.com.
It's very lean.
I kind of wish I had his schedule.
Cheryl Maldonado, Lakewood, California.
O'Reilly, you stated there's no evidence of massive
international election fraud with the voting machines. But I heard that the Supreme Court
wouldn't take that case and didn't even see the evidence. Is that true? It is not true.
There were many petitions to the federal courts alleging election fraud last November.
In those cases, evidence had to be presented to the courts.
to the federal courts. This is what we have. That's how the system works, Cheryl. Then as it
makes its way up the chain, the same evidence is looked at by judges who decide whether to take
the case or not. So evidence is looked at, but most cases in the Supreme Court obviously are not
taken because of time limitations. But if the evidence was overwhelming, the public would have
seen it. Patricia Yashenko, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mr. O, just started reading Killing
The Mob. Can't Put It Down. I grew up in a small town that had a mafia reputation.
It is believed Frank Sinatra attended a prominent mafia figure's funeral in our town.
Well, Patty, you would be able to figure that out if he did or did not by going back and looking
at the press coverage. But Frank Sinatra was up to his eyebrows in the mafia.
In fact, he loved his association with organized crime, and we get into that heavily in killing the mom.
I'm Bill O'Reilly, and I approve that message by putting it together.

In a moment, something you might not know.
Power, politics, and the people behind the headlines.

lawmakers, newsmakers, and even the president of the United States.
These are the leaders shaping the future of America and the world.

wherever you get your podcast. You don't want to miss an episode. Now the O'Reilly update brings you
something you might not know. Millions of Americans, including this one, skipped this year's
Academy Awards telecast. The show saw the lowest ratings since its TV debut in 1953. Nobody watched.
Why? Because radical politics and the cancel culture have decimated the entertainment industry.
Today, performers can have their entire careers ruined for simply shaking hands with a non-liberal person.
Here are a few examples.
Ellen DeGeneres faced a brutal backlash on Twitter after being seen with George W. Bush at a Dallas Cowboys football game in 2019, said Alan, quote, I'm friends with George Bush.
I'm friends with a lot of people who don't share the same beliefs that I have.
comedian Tim Allen got into trouble after jokingly comparing liberal Hollywood to Nazi Germany.
ABC canceled his hit show Last Man Standing, but 400,000 fans petitioned to get that program
back on the air and Fox took it. It is currently one of the most watched sitcoms in the world
as it ends its last season. Actor Chris Pratt publicly praised Christianity during the
MTV Movie Awards in 2018, telling younger viewers, God is real. Well, the Twitter mob didn't like that
and launched an online campaign against Chris's local church and its position on gay marriage.
Next, actor Vince Vaughn. The libertarian guy was viciously smeared on social media for shaking
President Trump's hand at a football game. Activists even launched a month-long crusade.
to have Vaughn blacklisted from the entire entertainment business. Now, this is fascism, just so you know.
Want more? Frazier star Kelsey Grammer defended President Trump during an interview with PBS,
saying Washington hasn't done anything for the average American in a long time. Well, Kelsey's
comments cost the actor a handful of jobs. Other examples of Hollywood payback include John
Void, Clint Eastwood for appearing at the 2012 Republican National Convention, and of course, Roseanne.
And here's something else you might not know. One of the biggest names he showed his history
never mentioned politics. Johnny Carson. He stayed out of it. Back after this.
