Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater. Thank you, Bill. It is Tuesday, May 28, 2024. Hope you had a meaningful Memorial Day.
weekend. Here's what's happening today in America. A tragic mistake. Memorial Day storms.
The state of L.A. and NBA legend passed away. That's all coming up. And Bill's going to be here
with your message of the day. But first, an Israeli airstrike reportedly hit a camp for displaced
Palestinians. That's like all the Palestinians by now. Kill dozens of people. The prime
minister of Israel called it a tragic mistake. At least 45 people killed 200 wounded. A lot of the
information is coming from UNR, which is a UN group, which is very closely tied to Hamas and
many UNR members who are active terrorists on October 7th, but whatever. A top UN official
said, images from last night are testament to how Rafa has turned into hell on earth.
This right after the International Criminal Court has ordered a warrant out for the arrest
of the Prime Minister and Defense Minister of Israel on charges of war crimes and crimes against
humanity. Now, Israel doesn't belong to the International Criminal Court. They have
signed that treaty, we haven't either in America.
We actually passed a bill in 2001 that says if any American military member is taken custody
by the international criminal court, our military has the authority to go in and rescue that
person from custody in the Netherlands.
This bill also says that we will go in and rescue anyone from the international criminal
court from any NATO member country.
Look up the bill.
It's called the American Service Members Protection Act.
Major storms across the country over Memorial Day weekend, 22 people kill deaths and
Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kentucky, also record-setting heat in parts of Texas all the way over
to Florida. Tornado watches from North Carolina to Maryland. More than 400,000 customers
across the eastern United States without power on Monday afternoon, more than 125,000 in Kentucky
alone. An actor in the TV show General Hospital was shot and killed in Los Angeles.
He was at a rooftop bar and he looked over the railing and he saw people work on his car.
He thought his car was getting towed. So he goes down, he approaches the car. Turns out there were three
people removing his catalytic converter, one of the guys turned around, shot him, killed him
right there. This was 3.30 in the afternoon on a Saturday. That right there is the state
of Los Angeles. NBA Hall of Famer Bill Walton has passed away at the age of 71 from cancer.
He won two national titles at UCLA with legendary coach John Wood in both perfect 30 and
seasons. That team won 88 straight games, a record that still stands today. And of course,
two NBA titles with Portland and Boston. Bill O'Reilly with your message today. Next.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On this Tuesday, years ago, while working at Fox News, I told the audience that major media
outlets like the Washington Post and New York Times, and most network news outlets would not
tolerate conservative thought. My imagery was that any employee wearing a MAGA hat, for example,
even on private time, would be banished. Subsequently, we have seen that play out in many left-wing
companies. The latest is National Public Radio, where a former executive writes that a liberal
bias is consistently enforced. NPR CEO, Catherine Marr, once tweeted that, quote, Donald Trump is a
racist and was openly sympathetic to the violent rioting after George Floyd's death.
Now, consider that NPR and its TV cousin PBS have convoluted access to about $500 million
yearly from American taxpayers, and you have a huge scandal.
One footnote in my 20 years plus at Fox News, I never saw employees punished for liberal
beliefs.
In fact, people like Alan Colmes, Juan Williams, Shepard Smith prospered.
The executive producer of the O'Reilly Factor is a proud Democrat.
That has never happened at the liberal news organizations.
You either fall into line or work elsewhere.
Maybe front line could do a report on it.
I'm Bill O'Reilly.
I approve the message by writing it.

Name in town if you wish to opine.
Now let's go to the mail.
Gloria, a concierge member, which means Gloria has a private line to me.
Gloria asked the first debate would be on CNN.
Oh, that would be fair, Gloria said sarcastically.
They are the decision that gave Hillary the questions ahead of the event a few years back.
They didn't do that. CNN didn't do it.
Donna Brazil did it.
She was an employee of CNN, and they didn't know she was doing it.
Donna snuck the questions out.
Now, you can be a conspiracy.
I know, but I'm just giving you the facts.
Eric Eisenhower, Dallas, Texas, fully speculation.
and it would never happen, but if CNN were to ask you, O'Reilly, to moderate the debate, would you do?
And of course I'd do it.
Of course they would.
Boy, we'd get places, let's put it that way.
Robert K.L. Zavanna, Georgia, a good town.
Bill, thank you and your staff for excellent work.
I'm concerned of the future.
My question, do you think Ramoswamy proposed something like this?
for a nomination in the future.
Look, Vivek Ramoswamy was on here last week
and he definitely wants to be President of the United States.
And, you know, he's got a future.
Trouble give him a job, I'm almost certain of that.
Patricia, I'll say this for the No Spin News
after renewing on April 22nd,
thank you very much, Patricia.
You renewed her concierge

Now, the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know.
In the year 37 AD, the Roman Senate crowned a new emperor.
His brief reign will go down in history as one of the most depraved of all time.
Here is the story of Caligula.
Gaius Julius Caesar Germanicus was the third son of a renowned Roman general.
Soldiers dubbed the boy Caligula, Latin for Little Boot, a reference to the strange uniform
his parents made him wear.
After the death of his family, the boy was adopted by Roman Emperor Tiberius.
Caligula was 24 years old when he ascended to the throne.
He soon became erratic, violent, and sadistic.
The dictator was diagnosed with what doctors at the time
called brain fever. Some historians believing it may have been a brain tumor. Caligula immediately
killed his closest advisors, then forced members of his own family to commit suicide. He terrorized
members of the Senate. Under penalty of death, lawmakers were forced to run naked alongside
Caligula's chariot. He often raped Senators' wives as political retribution.
The emperor had thousands of Romans murdered for absolutely no reason, and often watched
his victims being tortured before they were executed. When presiding over the religious
sacrifice of a bull, Caligula pardoned the animal, then beat the priest to death with a hammer.
The Roman elite had seen enough.
On January 24th, 41 AD, Caligula went to the theater.
On his way home, military officers forced the ruler into a dark alley, where they stabbed
him to death, much like Julius Caesar.
Caligula was 28 years old.
And here's something else you might not know.
While remembered for his depravity, Caligula was instrumental in expanding the Roman
Empire. Under his reign, Rome conquered new territories, including Great Britain, all the way up
to Scotland, known as Hadrian's Wall today. Back after this.
