Bill O'Reilly here.
You are listening to the O'Reilly update.
Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill.
It's Monday, May 8th, 2023.
Here's what's happening today in America.
Chaos begets chaos.
Biden's job approval at an all-time low.
A criminal gets a pass for an unexpected reason,
and you can't get even close to this word.
You're just playing with fire.
That's all coming up.
And then Bill will be.
here with your message of the day. But first, an SUV slammed into a crowd of people waiting for a
bus outside of a migrant shelter in Brownsville, Texas, right on the border. He killed at least seven
people injured 10. Most of the men killed were Venezuelan. There's been a massive surge of
Venezuelan illegal immigrants to Brownsville over the last two weeks. Just get ready for the big
day. May 11th, when Title 42 ends. That's Thursday. Get ready for a lot more chaos than even
we've already seen.
Less than two weeks after announcing his re-election,
a new poll says a majority of Americans,
63%.
Do not believe the president has, quote,
the mental sharpness it takes
to serve effectively as president,
63%.
If Biden wins re-election,
he will be 86 when he leaves office in 29.
His job approval right now, all-time low,
36%.
For Americans under 30, 60%.
of Americans under 30 voted for Biden in 2020, 60%.
His job approval for those under 30 years old is now 26%.
As is all too familiar these days,
a man has been using the women's locker room at a YMCA in Ohio,
and underage girls saw the man naked.
And police charged him with indecent exposure.
But a judge ruled that he did not commit indecent exposure
because he was so fat, you couldn't see his genitalia.

But don't worry, she won't be fired.
She's now working with restorative justice facilitators.
In other news, the Oakland A's baseball announcer said he had a phenomenal time
visiting the Negro League Baseball Museum in Kansas City.
But he did not say Negro.
He said the other word by accident.
He has been suspended indefinitely and is not meeting with any restorative justice facilitators.
Bill, we'll be here with your message of the day.
Next.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
It's all about artificial intelligence.
It's coming up faster than most people believe.
So 25% of jobs will be negatively impacted in the next five years, according to World Economic Forum.
That's 25% of all jobs all over the world, which means you're going to take a salary cut or you're going to be dismissed.
A study by Goldman Sachs predicts that the fast-growing mass adoption of AI will impact 300 million
jobs globally.
Now, that means some jobs will be created, but others will be banished.
But 300 million jobs.
And this is where it comes home to you and your kids and your friends.
So, how do you protect yourself?
If you are a low-level worker, a wage earner that is working in the service industry or you're
doing something that is easily replaced, you got to go back to school, community college,
or online, and you've got to get a skill.
people will always be needed. If you can make a company money, they'll hire you despite the
health and all that. Okay, skilled people. But if you have no skills and no education and you can
barely speak English and you have a tattoo on your forehead, believe me, you are going to be
really up against it. And the American welfare state is going to increase exponentially.
because people will not be able to make a living in the lower strata.
You're going to have to be able to do something.
Everybody has talents.
Figure it out what yours is and develop it to the highest degree.

bars with bad credit. That's government mortgages.
private. Just know that. Okay, know that, know that, know that, know that. Phil Huddling. Parker,
Colorado, you mentioned that Fox does not want Trump to be president. Why? Their management,
the ownership doesn't, they want DeSantis. I haven't talked to them, but they're in public about it.

Now the O'Reilly Update brings you something you might not know.
78 years ago today, Nazi Germany officially surrendered to the Allied forces.
After four years of total carnage, the European Theater of World War,
two was over. Here is the story. Following the sneak attack on Pearl Harbor by the Japanese,
Germany, Italy, and Japan declared war against the United States. They were called the Axis
Powers. Said Hitler, quote, after a quick victory has been achieved, Germany, Italy, and Japan will
continue in close's cooperation with a view to establishing a new and just world order, unquote.
The dictator, of course, was delusional, and here is what actually happened.
Chaos consumed 28 countries from Great Britain to Russia, Sicily to Sweden.
Three million square miles of territory plunged into war.
By 1945, Italy had lost 500,000 soldiers and civilians.
Mussolini was executed.
His mutilated corpse hanged at a local gas station.
Hitler's Germany, controlling more than 20,
different countries at its height would lose it all, including seven million German lives,
$23 billion in reparations the country had to pay, and thousands of technology patents seized by
U.S. agents to help fight the looming Cold War. In total, between 15 and 25 million people
perished in Europe. World War II remains the most destructive event in history.
4% of the world's population was wiped out, 80 million deaths worldwide, more than 60 million
civilians displaced, 6 million Jews killed in concentration camps.
More firepower was dropped on Europe than any previous war combined.
And here's something else you might not know.
The final battle in Europe took place in Yugoslavia.
freedom fighters fought against the independent state of Croatia, a puppet regime created
by the Nazis.
The final shots of that battle were fired on May 25th, two weeks after Germany's surrender.
