The Vice President said every
Starting point is 00:01:20 single person who put on the uniform of this nation deserves our gratitude on this day, especially, but every day. For the Vice President, thank you for your service. Thank you for your sacrifice, thank you for making us proud every single day. This was the 107th Veterans Day, and of course, just Monday, was the 250th birthday of the Marine Corps. John Fetterman, Senator from Pennsylvania, was on the view. He said, I don't need a lecture from whether it's Bernie or the governor in California, because they are representing very deep blue kinds of populations, and a lot of those things were part of the extreme. He said the reality is 42 million Americans are now not sure where their next meal is going to come from because we voted like that. Or people,
Starting point is 00:01:59 that haven't been paid in five weeks now, and that kind of chaos. Those kinds of workers have to borrow more than half a billion dollars from their credit union just to pay the bills. At the end of this, Schumer shut down, the Democrats got nothing other than a promised vote for a health care bill in the middle of December. Two people have been charged with laundering over $7 billion worth of Bitcoin, a Malaysian national Huck Seng Ling, 47 years old, pleaded guilty in a British court with his accomplice Chinese national
Starting point is 00:02:27 Jimin Kwan. She was 47. They were charged with money laundering. And they thought it was a victimless crime. $7 billion, victimless crime. He was sentenced to a little over 11 years Xi for almost five.

On this Wednesday, President Trump is floating the idea of a $2,000 direct tariff payment to Americans, and that is obviously a reflection of his concern over high consumer prices. which are hurting the Republicans. But there are a number of important concepts attached to this $2,000 payment,
Starting point is 00:05:05 and every American wouldn't get it. It depends on income. First of all, it is a giveaway, free stuff, and that's exactly what the Democrats are selling. However, the funds from foreign deals, tariffs, pay for the largesse. So, shouldn't working Americans benefit from that? After all, our hard-earned money buys foreign goods.
Starting point is 00:05:36 And the president can charge countries to get access to the American consumer. That's what a tariff is. If you want to sell stuff in the USA, you've got to pay up front to the American consumer. to the American government. And why do foreign nations want to sell stuff here? Because Americans buy far more things than anyone on earth. So the $2,000 payment is kind of legit, but it's not going to be easy to get it passed. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing
Starting point is 00:06:15 it. You can reach me. Bill at bill o'Reilly.com. Bill at bill o'Reilly.com. Name in town if you wish to opine. Now let's go to the mail. Dr. Michael Abraham's plantation, Florida, Broward County. President Tomp has mentioned distributing some of the tariff funds to individuals. Sounds like a clever political move and would be guaranteed to drive the Democrats crazy, but Democrats may try to stop it. I'm not sure how this is going to play out, Doctor. But we're on it.
Starting point is 00:06:47 And I hope it does play out. If you read my message of the day on Bill O'Reilly.com, I explain why we deserve the 2000s, not just a handout. Scott Kirkland, San Jose, California. While President Trump frequently makes himself available to the media, I can't recall him making an Oval Office address. I think he should do so to clarify the shutdown and his plan for the tariffs. I agree. I think a nationwide short, though. here's what we're doing
Starting point is 00:07:19 and get prices down here's where the tariff money's going I agree Carol Concierge member Carol gets direct access to me if there are many ways for Donald Trump to bring down prices then name them
Starting point is 00:07:34 well I didn't say there were many ways to bring down prices I don't know there's a lot of complications a lot of people involved if I knew I'd tell you It's a complicated mess to bring down prices in a capitalistic system because the government does not have control over that. They don't have control over wages and prices.
Starting point is 00:08:01 Anthony, Indianapolis, I believe that leaders like men, Donnie will never abolish police. Well, they can't abolish the police. They can cut the funding. You want to cut the funding to the cops. That's what they want. Mike Norman, I just want to tell you, your commentary on anti-Semitism was brilliant. That's the YouTube stuff. Well, I appreciate you saying that and listening to the commentary, Mike.
Starting point is 00:08:29 In a moment, something you might not know. Let's face it, the U.S. economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets. Nearly one year into his final term, President Trump is already thinking about his legacy. Today, one of his greatest accomplishments has been forging peace agreements around the globe. Here's the president talking about successfully ending six wars. I've solved six wars in the last six months, little more than six months now, and I'm very proud of it.
Starting point is 00:10:13 I thought the easiest one would be this one. It's actually the most difficult. We had one war raging, as you know, for 37 years. One in the Congo with Rwanda was raging for 31 years. We solved six of them, made peace, not just solved them, we made peace. Here are some of the conflicts Donald Trump is referring to. India and Pakistan, after a brief military exchange between the nuclear powers in May, the U.S. help broker a ceasefire.
Starting point is 00:10:39 The leader of Pakistan has since nominated Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. Rwanda and the Republic of Congo. The warring nations agreed to an economic pact in the White House. The two countries have been fighting since a Rwandan genocide in 1994. Cambodia and Thailand, an escalation of a border conflict in July, led to a ceasefire after American pressure, including threats of trade penalties from President Trump. Armenia and Azerbaijan, a peace deal was brokered last August, facilitated by the USA and praised by both countries. Egypt and Ethiopia. President Trump personally eased tensions over a disputed dam on the Nile River, and perhaps the hardest deal in history.
Starting point is 00:11:35 A ceasefire between Israel and Palestine where hostages were released. The pact was signed by the USA, gutter, Turkey, Egypt, Israel, and Hamas. So those are the facts. Will Donald Trump be remembered as a peacemaker? Well, by objective people, he can make a strong case. But there are many who despise Donald Trump and everything he does, and they will never acknowledge that the president is indeed a peacemaker. Back in a moment.
