Bill O'Reilly here. Friday, November 13th, 2020. You are listening to the O'Reilly update on
Friday the 13th. Here's what's happening today in America. The presidential election
technically still underway. Workers in North Carolina, Arizona, Georgia, still counting votes
more than a week after the polls closed. In the meantime, the Trump campaign has filed a series of
and places that have already called the election for Joe Biden.
Here's a quick look at the legal challenges that could potentially keep Donald Trump in the
White House. It's a long shot, but not impossible. First to Pennsylvania, the most important
state. Mr. Trump claiming Democrat control cities like Philadelphia and Pittsburgh counted
late, and he says they stole some ballots to say.
sway the election. Joe Biden currently leads in Pennsylvania by 50,000 votes. If that challenge goes to
the Supreme Court, that would open a pathway for Donald Trump. Next, Michigan, the Trump team says
officials of Detroit blocked Republicans from watching the vote count, allowing workers to discard
ballots intended for the president. A lawsuit still pending in Arizona over the so-called
Sharpie controversy. The Trump campaign alleging that some voters had their ballots incorrectly
rejected because they used permanent markers to fill them out. Republicans dropped the suit
over the weekend but filed another one. This is going nowhere in Arizona. In Nevada and Georgia,
the GOP believes officials allowed late voting in Democratic precincts, counting ballots that arrived
at the polls after the deadline. Joe Biden holds a razor-thin-theadful. Joe Biden holds a razor-thin
lead of just 14,000 votes in Georgia, and they are now recounting by hand in that state.
The Trump campaign also demanding a recount in Wisconsin before the election is certified
there, citing examples of irregularities and numbers around Milwaukee and Madison.
In the meantime, the election goes on. President Trump is closing the gap in Arizona and has an
outside chance to even win that state. Georgia will likely go to Biden, but it's not a lock.
This is an important news week, so I hope you dial into the no-spin news every night.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update. Message of the day. Listeners sounding off, we do this every Friday.
And as I told you in the last segment, you can reach me, bill at bill o'Reilly.com. Let us begin with Carol in Hawaii.
How will Georgia people vote in the upcoming Senate race? Mail in? How will they count the vote?
Same way they did it the first time around, Carol. Only this time, there'll be so many poll watchers
that any cheating would be impossible. So here's how it's going to shake. In early January,
voters in Georgia will go to consider two Senate races.
The Republicans are favored in each race. The first race, incumbent Republican Senator Perdue, won. But he didn't have enough votes. He needed over 50 to avoid a runoff. And he got 49.7. So why wouldn't he win again? The second race, the Democrat there, ran against two Republicans, not one.
and defeated the two Republicans, but if you add up the Republican votes, they overwhelm the
Democrats. So I expect in Georgia, in January, two Republican senators, which would give the GOP
a 5248 advantage in the Senate. Eric is in Columbus, Mississippi. What's to keep the Democrats in
Georgia from using the same cheating tactics to ensure the Republicans from winning?
well first of all the cheating tactics are yet to be defined eric so we suspect that fulton county
that's atlanta we suspect there were irregularities but we don't know yet it's being investigated
but as i said there are going to be so many poll watches this time around all over georgia
that i think there will be an honest vote dave in burnt hills new york bill bill
please explain what a recount means. Is it truly verifying the authenticity of each vote? Or is it simply
recounting which shouldn't amount to much difference? What is the specific process? So it's a hand
recount in Georgia. That means that each vote will be examined, Dave. And if there's a problem with
the vote, it's going to be thrown out, not counted. That is very, very important. So you'll have
two tracks. One, they'll actually count the votes they have, all right, to see how many and who
wins. But two, any votes that are not filled out correctly in the mail-in process will be thrown
out. And the allegations are they weren't the first time around. So again, this is desperately needed
in Georgia, five million voted, and the Biden leaves by 14,000. Come on. We need. We need.
a hand recount in that state. Laslow in Louisiana. O'Reilly, can you explain what would happen
if the 12th Amendment would be used to declare Donald Trump the president? Is that a possibility?
It is not. Now, in the Constitution, there are all kinds of remedies for controversies. But in this
case, Laslo, this is a pure vote count situation. And as I said, the Supreme Court may have to make
the decision. I'm Bill O'Reilly and I approve that message by putting it together in a moment,
something you might not know.

Now the O'Reilly Update brings you something you might not know. More than 50 million people
from 120 countries have contracted COVID.
since the pandemic began earlier this year.
The disease is killed at least 1.2 million worldwide, including 240,000 here in the USA.
Researchers from FISA now believe an effective vaccine will be rolled out shortly.
Until then, many places are struggling to contain the contagion.
Stay away from these hard-hit nations if you're looking to avoid the virus.
Our country is one of the highest death rates. The nation of 45 million people has more than 1.4 million cases of COVID and 40,000 fatalities. Officials in Spain have instituted a nationwide curfew to stop partiers in Madrid and Barcelona from spreading the disease. Brazil, 6 million cases, 160,000 deaths, probably much higher than that, but Brazil.
reports 160,000. This desperate South American country is experimenting with different vaccines
from around the world. Authorities recently suspended trials of a Russian and Chinese treatment
after volunteers became gravely ill. India, also struggling to slow down COVID, the nation of
1.3 billion people, reporting 130,000 fatalities. Again, that number is probably much higher.
boarding in the third world is not very reliable, but India has a terrible problem. Other hot spots
include Peru, Israel, Mexico, and of course our own country. America has the highest number of
confirmed cases and deaths of any nation on earth. Many believe that's because we test far more
than other countries, and that's probably correct. But the real reason that COVID spread so fast in
America is our affluence. We travel more and socialize more. We have more opportunities
to go places and do things, and that spreads COVID. The worst place on a planet right now,
the United Kingdom, population 60 million, 1.2 million infections, 50,000 deaths. Wow. Back after this.
