Bill O'Reilly here Monday, November 14th, 2022.
You are listening to The O'Reilly Update.
Is what's happening today in America?
President Biden meets with China's dictator Xi.
Democrats keep the Senate.
Donald Trump blames the midterm election on fellow Republicans.
A Disney performer says he was fired for being white.
Also ahead. The red flag, not the red wave, but first. President Biden meeting with China's Xi Jinping. The two leaders are in Bali to attend the G20 Financial Summit, said the Chinese dictator, quote, we need to chart the right course for the China-U.S. relationship. We need to find the right direction for the China-U.S. relationship. We need to find the right direction for.
the bilateral relationship going forward. Of course, this is just blather, and nobody really knows
what was said behind the scenes. Democrats maintaining control of the U.S. Senate. The party
clenched 50 seats after winning races in Arizona and Nevada. The last undecided contest,
Georgia, there's a runoff on December 6th there. Incredibly, it remains unclear which party
will have a majority in the House of Representatives, certain states and districts, simply cannot count
their votes efficiently. And that has to change. Donald Trump blaming the midterm results on
fellow Republicans, the former president lashing out at Governor DeSantis, Senator McConnell, Virginia
Governor Glenn Yonkin. Mr. Trump calling for new elections in the Southwest, saying,
America's voting system is worse than a third world nation.
A sign language interpreter for Disney's Broadway show,
The Lion King, says he was fired for being Caucasian.
53-year-old Keith Wan, telling reporters he was booted by a staffing company
after the group decided, quote,
it is no longer appropriate to have white interpreters
represent black characters for sign language interpretation
at Broadway shows, unquote.
Well, the case will be decided in federal court.
In a moment, fallout from last week's vote.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update message of the day.
Let us begin with some truth.
Always a good thing, right?
Joe Biden is a bad precedent.
Inflation is hurting working Americans.
Violent crime is surging in black urban neighborhoods.
and millions of foreign nationals have illegally flooded into the USA since Joe Biden was inaugurated.
With me so far?
More truth.
Republicans should have routed the Democrats last Tuesday.
The progressive left, which controls Joe Biden, has failed to solve vexing problems
and actually made things worse in this country.
So traditional conservative candidate,
had a big policy advantage going into the election.
It did not translate into votes.
Why not?
Independent voters broke for the Dems by five points.
That's why.
Nobody predicted that would happen, but it did.
It looks like January 6th and election denying is a major reason.
Republicans are associated with both.
Democrats pounded that theme with TV ads.
Yes, it's unfair and foolish to support Democrat incompetence because January 6th happened.
But that's what many independents apparently did.
Abortion also swayed some independent women, but not as much as the denier thing.
In addition, the Democrat machine successfully brought the specter of Donald Trump to the midterm vote.
Remember, more than 80 million Americans voted against Trump in 2020, even though he did a good job running the economy.
And that was before the election denying and the January 6th riot that stemmed from it.
thus the red wave stayed out to sea and the red flag was waved in places like
Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, and Michigan. Reality bites as the saying goes. So we will all continue
to suffer under President Joey Houdini, who somehow escaped again.
More personal debt, more African Americans killed in their own neighborhoods by violent criminals,
more immigration chaos, help is not on the way.
Americans get another chance, two years hence.
Maybe the red tide will roll in then.
In the meantime, hang on to that life jacket.
Do not get bitter.
do not get disillusioned. Do not give up on your country. This midterm election is discouraging,
not for party or ideological reasons. It's discouraging because politicians who cannot do the job
were elected. I'm Bill O'Reilly, and I appreciate it. I'm Bill O'Reilly, and I appreciate

The United States military is the most lethal fighting force on the planet.
Each day, millions of men and women risk their lives to protect American interests and allies.
Here is a brief breakdown of the armed forces in sight of Veterans Day.
There are six branches of the military, each with their own jurisdiction.
The Army, one million soldiers, handle ground combat missions.
The Marines, 200,000, provides sea, land, and air support.
for all other branches of the military. They also guard our embassies abroad. The Navy,
half a million sailors, operate a fleet of 500 warships and 3,000 planes. Air Force, 300,000 Americans
fly a strike force of 10,000 aircraft and an undisclosed number of drones. The Air Force also manages
the country's intercontinental missiles. Coast Guard, 75,000 defend our shores from foreign invasion.
In recent years, the Guard is focused on drug smuggling, human trafficking, and terror threats
at U.S. ports. The newest branch of the armed forces, the Space Force, founded by President Trump
2019, that agency now employs 9,000 workers who manage 80 spaceships and satellites.
In total, the U.S. military has 2 million active duty personnel with an annual budget of $780 billion a year.
Whoa. As of 2022, the armed forces are 85% male.
15% female, 50% white, 22% black, 20% Hispanic, 7% Asian.
The highest rates of recruitment take place in Texas, California, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina.
The starting salary for soldiers, $20,000 a year plus expenses, of course.
the highest paid positions are Air Force generals.
They average $200,000 a year.
Back after this.
