While the momentum was strong, it is clear that my confirmation was unfairly becoming a distraction to the critical work of the Trump-Vant's transition. There's no time to waste. Thus, I'll be withdrawing my name from consideration to serve as Attorney General. J.D. Van said, I'm extremely grateful for the

work Matt has put into the nomination process, he made his decision to withdraw entirely out of respect for President Trump's administration. Donald Trump quickly replaced Gates with Pam Bondi. She was the Attorney General of Florida from 2010 to 2018 under Governor Rick Scott, and she was one of Trump's defense lawyers during his first impeachment trial. Trump said, I've known Pam for many years. She's smart and tough as an America first fighter who will do a terrific job as Attorney General. Someone immediately on MSNBC said, she is a dangerous and effective pick. And that's frankly worse than what we would have gotten with Matt Gates. Senator Mike Rounds from South Dakota has introduced the returning education to our states

act in the U.S. Senate, which would abolish the Department of Education and put other departments in charge of certain responsibilities of things that we think are worthwhile. Trump has repeatedly said on the campaign trail that he wants to get rid of the Department of Education and so as Elon and Vivek at the Department of Government efficiency. round said the federal department of education has never educated a single student long past time to end this bureaucratic department that causes more harm than good we all know that local controls best when it comes to education every time i talk about this on my radio show someone calls in and says well what about special education that would be moved under health and human services federal loan programs would be moved to the department of treasury and native american education programs would be moved to the department of the interior all the rest down to the states A Mexican cartel leader was killed by a business associate for lying. Well, that's what the authorities were told. In reality, he faked his own death in Mexico and then has been living in Riverside, California,

outside Los Angeles. He's been accused of smuggling 40,000 kilograms of meth and 2,000 kilos of cocaine in America. He had a huge house in California. He's now under arrest. His father-in-law is El Mentiono, the leader of the Halisco cartel in Mexico. He's the most wanted man in Mexico. and one of the most wanted in America. The State Department has a $10 million reward for information leading to his arrest.

that former Congressman Matt Gates would not be the new attorney general. I did this because I understand how Washington works, and it's not a fair place. But the senators needed to confirm Mr. Gates to that cabinet position. Well understood that he has a checkered past. We have to give the man due process if we're fair Americans, but it's not only that. He sabotaged Speaker McCarthy, he's a bit arrogant in person, and he doesn't have many friends in the Senate. Also, the left-wing press in America hates Matt Gates. So you add it up, and it was one very difficult situation for the new Trump administration. On Thursday, Matt Gates said he's hanging it up. He doesn't want to be attorney general any longer because it's becoming a burden for the Trump administration.

That was a noble thing to do because it's true. It would have been a brutal battle in the Senate. And if President Trump decided to go around that body for a recess appointment, that would have hurt him. So Matt Gates is out. I predicted it well before it happened because, again, I'm not a genius. I just understand how our political system works. Many times, it's very unfair. I'm Bill O'Reilly.

I'm curious. Sure. 90% of all deportations during the eight years of President Obama were people caught at the border and turned around. Okay?

So that was the deportation order. You'll remember that the children and their families, the Obama administration, first ones that separated the adults from the children. And that led to a lot of humanitarian problems. But it was all concentrated at the border. That's how they were able to do it. S. Here are the products with the biggest cost increases as we head into the holidays. First up air travel. Ticket prices are up 30 percent compared across the board. The average domestic flight will now set you back 400 bucks, more than double the cost, in 2019. Next, energy prices, a gallon of gas on Trump's last day in office was $2.30. I figure spiked to $3.50. Home heating costs followed up 30%. An airline fuel has more than double, which is why the plane prices are higher. Insurance, home, auto, health, all up double digits.

Insuring your car now costs 54% more than it did four years ago. The average monthly insurance bill went from $130 to $200. Finally, food costed turkey hitting a record high this Thanksgiving. The nation's biggest meat packers are charging 30% more for poultry, 30% more for beef, 35% more for pork. pork. The big holiday meal is on track to cost 40% more than four years ago. To say some cash, families are reducing menu items and limiting guests. In total, the typical household spends $500 a month on higher prices under Joe Biden. That's not good. That's why Kamala Harris lost.

that's $6,000 of family a year. The average American home has $9,000 less than it did during Trump's final year in office. Two-thirds of us now live paycheck to paycheck. And here's something else you might not know. Despite being dubbed the most wonderful time of the year, the holidays also rank as the most stressful. When asked what part of Thanksgiving and Christmas Day just lied, 23% of Americans say, they don't like seeing their own relatives. Another 25% complain about spending money on presents.
