Bill O'Reilly here.
You are listening to the weekend edition of the O'Reilly update.
Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thanks, Bill.
Here's what's happening this week in America.
Big job numbers, seditious behavior, Dick Cheney funeral, and peace agreement proposed.
That's all coming up.
Then Bill's going to be here with your message of the day.
But first, big jobs report from September.
Experts predicted 50,000 jobs to be added.
But job creators in this country created 100.
19,000 new jobs.
That means over the past year, 2.5 million Native-born Americans gained employment and
670,000 foreign-born workers lost employment.
Stephen Miller said this is the first time that has happened in our lifetimes, truly
astonishing achievement.
A couple days ago, a few senators and congresspeople made a video where they told service
members and people in the intelligence community that they must disobey unlawful orders.
And in this video, they never said what orders they're talking about.
Like what orders from our commander chief have been unlawful.
Every order that the president gave the National Guard was to protect federal law enforcement
and protect federal buildings.
So the president wrote in response to that video that the comments are, quote,
really bad and dangerous for our country.
He said, their words cannot be allowed to stand seditious behavior from traitors, lock
them up, but question mark.
An hour later, he wrote seditious behavior, punishable by death.
and now the people in that original video are pretending to be outraged.
Speaker Johnson said that the president was simply defining the crime of sedition,
quote, that's a factual statement.
The former vice president Dick Cheney had his funeral at the Washington National Cathedral
yesterday. Former president, George W. Bush, delivered a eulogy.
Bush told the story of when he was going to pick Dick Cheney to be his vice president.
He said that Dick insisted on giving me a complete rundown of all the reasons why I should not
choose him. In the end, I trusted my judgment. I remember my dad's words when I told him what I was
planning. He said, son, you couldn't pick a better man. The United States has crafted a 28-point plan
to bring the war in Ukraine to an end. Russia would receive recognized control over Crimea and
large portions of eastern Ukraine. Ukraine must limit its standing military and establish in its
constitution that it will never join NATO. Also, Ukraine would receive security guarantees.
from the United States without regard to Europe.
Ukraine would receive hundreds of billions of dollars worth of investment to aid in its
rebuilding efforts, including $100 billion worth of frozen Russian assets.
Russia would receive re-entry into the G8 and all sanctions would be lifted.
Also, prisoners would be exchanged in an all-for-all basis and all civilian detainees
would be returned.
Russia is accused of kidnapping Ukrainian children, some estimates up to 100,000,
and re-educating them in their own military.
Under this deal, everyone would come home.
I'm Mike Slater. I have a podcast Politics by Faith. Bill O'Reilly has your message of the day.
Next.
Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day. After decades of experiencing horrendous violence,
the Mexican people are finally demonstrating against their government's impotence in fighting against the drug cartels.
As we write in confronting evil, cartel leaders have amassed billions of dollars,
murdering at will and, of course, sending poison to the USA and other countries.
In addition, cartel thugs terrorize the Mexican people by extorting legitimate businesses
and violently attacking any and all opposition.
President Trump has offered to coordinate with Mexico to destroy the cartel leadership,
but Presidente Claudia Scheinbaum loudly declined.
Why? I believe Ms. Scheimbaum is frightened for her own safety. There is no other reason,
and reasonable people know it. The Mexican government is simply not strong enough to control
the drug merchants, and now many Mexicans themselves have had enough. They are protesting in the streets.
So I do expect President Trump to take direct action against the drug cartels in Mexico.
And it will be violent.
And Shinebaum should back it.
If she doesn't, it'll happen anyway.
I'm Bill O'Reilly.
I approve the message by writing it.

Hey, Bill, I get irritated when I hear you and others say the immigration system is broken.
No immigration system would be able to absorb 15 million people in four years.
This system is fine. This system is not fine.
Part of the reason is what you just said.
We've been overrun.
But the 1952 law is obsolete.
It's got to be much more specific, in asylum, in punishment, in registration, on and on and on and on.
Peter Amelville, Salem, Oregon, President Trump continues to imply or actually say foreign exporters pay U.S. tariffs, such as we're bringing in so much money or we're hurting them so bad, which of course is untrue.
What's untrue about it? USA is bringing a lot of money from tariffs.
tons of money
that's a fact

Now the O'Reilly Update brings you something you might not know.
We are nearly one year into Donald Trump's second term and his retribution tour is well underway.
way. Unlike most past presidents who viewed conflict as a political matter, the current
commander-in-chief takes things rather personally. Now there is controversy about how Mr. Trump
is treating some people who have hurt him in his past. Here's a quick rundown of the president's
retribution list. John Bolton, former national security advisor, split with Trump during the first
term and then call the president, quote, stunningly unfit for office. He has since been
indicted on 18 counts related to mishandling classified information. James Comey, Donald Trump
accused the former FBI director of botching the DOJ's investigation into the Russian collusion
hoax. Comey also documented his interactions with Mr. Trump, then apparently leaked that information
to the New York Times.
In September, James Comey was indicted on two counts of making false statements to Congress.
Letitia James, the New York Attorney General, led the prosecution of Donald Trump for allegedly
inflating the value of his real estate portfolio.
That $500 million civil case was eventually dismissed by an appeals court.
Last month, Ms. James was indicted on one count of bank fraud and one count of mortgage fraud, criminal statutes.
Former Special Counsel Jack Smith, the man behind the investigation of Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election,
was subpoenaed by Congress to address, quote, prosecutional misconduct and constitutional abuses.
Wow.
Other notable names, FBI director Christopher Ray, Chris Christie, Joe Biden, Barack Obama, and Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg.
All are under some scrutiny.
Many Americans are frightened by these investigations.
This is payback by Mr. Trump, but it may be righteous because some of these people are very shady.
The courts will decide.
