Bill O'Reilly here. You are listening to the O'Reilly update.
Coming up next, the news with Mike Slater.
Thank you, Bill. It is Tuesday, November 25th, 2025.
Here's what happening today in America.
Further investigation.
A health care framework defending the Somalis and most expensive comic book ever.
It's all coming up.
Then Bill's going to be here with your message at the day of the first.
The Department of War said it is launching a thorough review into Democratic Senator Mark Kelly,
citing serious allegations of misconduct Kelly is a retired U.S. Navy captain and astronaut.
The Department of War said they'll decide if further action is necessary, which may include
recall to active duty for court martial proceedings.
The Department of War said they would like to remind all individuals that military retirees
remain subject to the UCMJ for applicable offenses and federal law such as 18 U.S. Code Section
2387 prohibits actions intended to interfere with the loyalty, morale, or good order.
and discipline of the armed forces.
The Trump White House will unveil a health care policy framework.
Some reports are saying that the plan could include a two-year extension of the
expiring Obamacare subsidies, the enhanced Obamacare subsidies, which is what the whole
shutdown was about.
The plan would lower limits on income eligibility for the credits and set minimum premium
payments.
The proposed eligibility cap would be set for subsidies to 700% of the federal poverty line.
The White House would also urge Congress to fund.
cost-sharing reduction plans.
Republicans pushed for this in the one big, beautiful bill, but Senate Democrats refused to
put it in there.
The Congressional Budget Office said that these health care reforms would have lowered
health care premiums by 12.7 percent, and the cost-sharing reduction plans would
have lowered costs by $30.8 billion.
The Trump proposal could also have part of that tax credit goes right to Americans
via tax-advantage savings accounts instead of going to a health insurance company to lower
Americans' premiums hypothetically indirectly.
Amid many fraud allegations against Somalis in Minnesota,
Democrats in Minnesota are coming to their defense.
In one case, a group called Feeding Our Future run by Somalis
defrauded the Minnesota taxpayer out of $250 million.
In another case, tens of millions were stolen from the state's autism treatment program,
again, by Somalis.
And in a third case, more than $550 million stolen from Minnesota's coronavirus pandemic relief fund.
But there was a big rally in Minnesota to denounce the president's statements against Somalis.
A copy of the very first Superman comic book.
Oh, this was a dream that the Slater family once had about an old Babe Ruth baseball card.
Alas, it did not come true for us, but it did for these brothers.
This issue was unearthed by brothers cleaning out their late mother's attic.
They found it in a dusty old box with a bunch of old newspapers.
Pristine perfect condition from 1939, sold at an auction for $9.1 million.

Time now for the O'Reilly Update, message of the day.
On this Tuesday, as Thanksgiving approaches a new study out of New York University,
puts a bit of bitter in the sweet potato pie.
It says that most Americans value eudaimonia above looking out for their family.
What the heck is Eudaomena?
Well, it's a Greek term meaning pursuit of self-interest, leisure, self-care, pleasure, things like that.
So it's off to grandmother's house unless we get a fun party in the way.
The study makes sense.
The Internet has caused a massive shift away from public good and towards individual gratification.
Outside world, why bother?
Trivial social media pursuits supply endless diversions from real world challenges.
It's all there at the click of a thumb.
And those challenges sometimes are focused on family.
Why do we need them?
Not worth the trip on Thursday.
Luckily, most Americans hang on to some semblance of family tradition,
but that's receding, and we don't need a study to see it.
Even the Adams family understands that clan values can strengthen character.
you day monia save it for new year's eve i'm bill o'reilly i approve the message by writing it you
can reach me bill at bill o'reilly dot com bill at bill o'reilly dot com name in town if you wish to
opine let's go to the mail uh i am on milandi tucson arizona bill why would president
trump even spend a minute with man donnie uh the man asked to deliver on his marcus promise to
those who elected it. As I said, it was a show and tell. This is the cliché as dog and pony show.
That's what it was. But read my column, I'm on, and you'll see why. David, when it comes to
Mark Kelly, Senator from Arizona, follow the money. It's been said he has huge investments in
China. Been said by whom? David, I've never heard that. Senator Kelly has some
money in China? Who says that? So you've got to be very careful about this stuff. Now, if you had
written me the letter and told me who said it, then I could check it out. But let's not cast around
unless we know. I think that's fair. Michael, concierge, remember I completely agree. Senator Kelly is
the biggest surprise on the people who call for the military to disobey orders. As an Arizona
a constituent. He's also the biggest disappointment. I'm a repired Air Force Senior
NCO on I Am Incensed. Okay. That was not a good thing. And again, my column on Sunday,
Bill O'Reilly.com deals with it. David Langson, Beduka, Kentucky. But he said President Biden
gave Iraq $6 billion. Did he actually send them the money or did he unfreeze assets?
It was Iran, and he unfroze $6 billion of assets that the United States controlled for no reason.
We got nothing back.

Now, the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know.
Nine years ago today, a brutal communist dictator died in Havana.
Throughout his life, the revolutionary led the island of Cuba from relative prosperity
into poverty and repression.
Here is the story of Fidel Castro.
Born in eastern Cuba to a wealthy family, the young Marxist orchestrated numerous attempts
to overthrow the American-backed Cuban government.
On January 7, 1959, Castro and his guerrilla fighters deposed the heinous dictator, Fulgencio Batista,
who then fled to Europe.
Six months later, Castro ruled the island with absolute power.
His regime hunted down political opponents, journalists, capitalists.
The dictator confiscated all private property.
Even the Cuban constitution was changed to say that free speech was only allowed if, quote,
it is in keeping with the objectives of a socialist society.
In total, 100,000 human beings die trying to flee Castro's revolution, most of them drowning at sea.
10,000 Cubans were executed by firing squads, 2,000 assassinated in their homes.
Fidel announced his retirement in 2008, and on November 25th, 2016, the dictator died in the capital city of Havana.
No cause of death was ever given. He was 90 years old.
Unfortunately, for the Cuban people, Castro's policies remain in effect.
The state-mandated salary is less than a dollar a day. No internet access. The government issues
rations for items like milk, eggs, and fuel. Apartments are allocated by the Communist Party.
And here's something else you might not know. Despite his savagery, some Americans still
revere Castro. One admirer, Senator Bernie Sanders, said the Socialist during the 2020
campaign, quote, Castro taught a lot of people to read and write. I think that's a good thing.
True, Fidel taught the farmers
had to read, but they were only allowed access to one book
The Communist Manifesto.
Back in a moment.
