Thieves in Germany pull off the biggest jewel heist in history. One California company begins selling turkey gravy laced with marijuana. Also, I had the message my exclusive radio interview with President Trump. But first, a federal judge ruling former White House counsel, Don McGahn, must appear before Congress
Starting point is 00:00:54 after receiving a subpoena earlier this year. The decision directly rebukes President Trump's efforts to keep senior aides from testifying about his operation. Billionaire Mike Bloomberg's media company says it will limit political coverage of Bloomberg himself and his fellow Democrats, but will continue to investigate Donald Trump heading into the 2020 election.
Starting point is 00:01:21 Bloomberg news editors justifying the disfying the decision saying the Trump administration is, quote, the government of the day, which is total bull. The stock market posting record highs this week, continuing a seven-month run. Economists cite the rally as dependent on a strong dollar, growing economy, and a potential trade deal with China. Thieves in Germany pulling off one of the biggest heists of all time, perhaps the biggest, breaking into Dresden's Royal Palace and stealing more than $1 billion in 18th century jewels in art. Starting point is 00:04:02 day. This Thanksgiving weekend, hundreds of radio stations across America will broadcast my interview with President Trump. A lot of the stations and times are posted on Bill O'Reilly. Riley.com so you can check it out. Now, the interview was conducted Monday morning and lasts about 40 minutes. It is a no-spin interview, no cupcake. First question for the president, if you had to do it all over again, would you bring up Joe Biden's name with the president of Ukraine? That, of course, sparked the impeachment chaos. Now, I've interviewed six presidents, and it is a privilege to do that, but it's not easy. If you are a journalist and we are dying out, you must respect the office, the office of the presidency, while asking the toughest questions you can think of.
Starting point is 00:05:08 There are two kinds of interviews. Informational, which is what I did with President Trump this week, and confrontational where you are telling an interview subject that you're not really convinced what they are saying is true or is accurate. So informational, you want as much information as you can get, and confrontational. Now, informational sounds easy, but it isn't because a lot of people dodge your question. So you have to be smart enough to follow up, especially with someone like Donald Trump, who speaks in a stream of consciousness. If you read my book, the United States of Trump, I lay out how the president speaks to other people. And it's not like most people do. Whatever pops into his mind, he says.
Starting point is 00:06:08 And it may not be on topic. He deviates. He goes all over the place. So when you're interviewing him, you have to bring him back, which I think I did, but it's not easy. The first president I interviewed was Jimmy Carter, and that was informational. He was running for president against Ronald Reagan. I interviewed Gerald Ford about his administration after he left office, an extensive interview with him. Again, informational. You know, what were your main achievements? What was the problems, that kind of thing. I interview Bill Clinton after he left office a number of times, and I concentrated on his character. I interviewed George W. Bush a few times during his administration, the Iraq war, things like that. The big interview with him was about the press. They beat the
Starting point is 00:06:58 living, you know what, out of W. And I said, why are you not fighting back? And he said, facta? I just don't even bother with it. Barack Obama, I interviewed him three times. You might want to Google those. Those are really intense interviews. And Donald Trump, I've interviewed that man more than anyone else on the planet. Again, you can Google all the interviews I've done with him. But the latest interview, I think, will be very instructive. So once again, please check out the list of radio stations across the country. You'll also be on Sirius on Bill O'Reilly.com. And again, it's a privilege to interview any president of the United States.
